I never saw the film Ouija that came out just a couple of years ago, but its sequel (prequel?) coming out this Friday called Ouija: Origin of Evil left me shocked when I saw the disparity in positive ratings from original-to-successor. Ouija is scoring a 9% on RT while Ouija: Origin of Evil is currently sitting at 91%. Goodness gracious!

I haven't seen a PG-13 horror film score 90% on the Tomatomater in a long, long time (Drag Me to Hell is the only one that comes to mind). I guess it just goes to show what a change in director can do to a horror film, or any film for that matter. Consider me interested, though I wonder if it's better that I see the first one first.
