I wasn't sure where to put this, so I chose Off Topic.

I have just recently discovered Operation Sports, and I'm currently running a Kickstarter for an arcade football board game. I wanted to post about it in the 'Other Football Games' section of the forums. I was hoping that a mod would let me know if this is okay, and I would also need my privileges modified so that I could start the new thread if it is.

I can't answer the first part, but your privilege to post a thread will be granted after you contribute to OS by commenting in threads. It's a random number of posts you'll need but from what I understand it's not that many, like under 10.

Another "not sure where else to ask" question:

My PS4 will randomly say "cannot connect to network" and boot me out of whatever game I was playing/app I was using. When I go to check the connection, everything is fine and if I close the app/go back to the main menu, everything is up and running as it ought to.

Any ideas on what could be causing this? It's getting very annoying and making it impossible to play online.

Another "not sure where else to ask" question:

It is pretty cool that there are so many great sports games out right now. Seems like every major sport has a solid representation to choose to play.

I still miss having a solid selection of arcade sport games like NBA Street, SSX, or Burnout.

I record games when I don't/can't see them live, and avoid all spoilers. I check no e-mail, social media, or anything and I watch that game as if it actually is live. Tends to work pretty well, too.

I have other barriers anyway, such as a whole lot of grading I have held off from doing. Guess I dug my own hole. I'll be staying in.

Who said anything about missing the game? I clearly stated I would have a recording at my disposal as if the game had not been watched. I take extreme measures to know absolutely nothing about the game, including the time it took to finish or whether a player/fan collapsed to death that night (knock on wood lol).

If you're not watching it live, you're missing the game.
