This is quite the (small) coincidence. Ashleigh has been asking me what I want to do for my birthday this year. I told her I would make a list. That list consisted of finding a Sega Genesis and the following games:
Sonic 1 & 2
Mortal Kombat 1, 2, or 3
Aladdin
NBA Jam
Lion King
Road Rash
X-Men and X-Men 2
Batman Returns
Jurassic Park

Aladdin on Sega Genesis is the GOAT.

Not to jump back into the whole Christmas spirit (or lack thereof) again, but for some reason I thought about those encyclopedia-sized Christmas catalogs we used to get in the mail from JCPenney. As a kid this was always the start of the season for me.

Here's the 1991 JCP Christmas catalog:

I used to go through those catalogs and make a list, and then my dad would explain how 99% of my list was just ridiculous.

$400 for an erector set? Mow 10,000 yards or shovel 10,000 driveways and it's all yours

I was like that with the Toys-R-Us Catalog. Used to damn near write like 70% of what I seen in there on my Christmas list and gave it to my Parents like they were going to buy all of that.

Virtua Fighter and NFL 95 for me. Holy damn did I spend a lot of hours on NFL 95. Never did get hold of NFL 98 I've convinced myself I'm better off and would've been disappointed just like I was with Tecmo Bowl 3

Cannot believe I forgot about WWF Rumble.

Easily the funnest and funniest game I've ever played on the Sega Genesis. I would laugh and laugh for hours.

I was partial to General Chaos as a kid.

I also have a Sega Nomad at my mom's house still. I think the only games I have left are MK3 and the Madden where you had to enter a code to play as the Jags and Panthers. 95 maybe?

Part of me thinks I did at one point in time own a Sega Dreamcast. I don't think I ever played it since I just got it from someone who didn't want it. lol, everyone in here talking about Sega, makes me want to see if I still have it buried away somewhere.

Also, Walmart....It's begun! Spoilered for Scrooges own good.
