            Astronomy fact of the day: There are three things that we can see from Earth that are outside of our Galaxy. The Large and Small Magellanic clouds and the Andromeda Galaxy. The Magellanic clouds are only visible in the southern hemisphere.

              I was just outside with my dog and saw what I'm pretty sure was a meteorite. It was just above me and pretty low. It was a yellow streak and then disappeared. It was pretty awesome.

                  True. But I assumed it was a meteorite because I think it was gonna hit the ground since it was so low. I should have been clearer.
