Yup, my mom being one of them. Not saying she's "in the scientific field" credible, but she's as trustworthy as they come.
Only time I've ever heard her lie was when I was maybe six years old: she told me and my older sister we were going to visit relatives and she pulled into the parking lot for Power Rangers Live!Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

For sure. What I said wasn’t meant to dismiss all this stuff that is coming out.
I read they found materials that aren’t of Earth. I feel like they’re easing us in to the fact we’ve been visited, but with no seeming purpose, there’s not much more to it.
I just really hope aliens aren’t like people. They’ll pillage us to nothingness. I mean, if they bothered to come to this planet to find we’re way behind them, we’re easy pickings.
You guys see the video of the plasma looking thing being pulled back into the clouds by what looks like a cloud hand? From Arizona in December 2016. Its old so maybe it’s been explained, but that video freaked me directly out.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

To be honest, the cloud hand made me believe the video was altered. The plasma beam thing was insane as it was, but it felt over the top with the hand. Like someone was trying too hard.
I hadn’t seen a video like that before though. Footage is always so vague. To see the plasma beam so clearly was a shock. It disappearing behind the one cloud and then reappearing as it passed through seemed legit.
Who knows man!NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

I actually watched a whole show about this a few months ago. I think it was Space's Deepest Secrets. Very excited for this. Not sure if posted but in 2018 we'll see a black hole for the first time ever
It' our own black hole, at the center of our galaxy, and if you search online there is a video showing how they detected it in the first place by showing a bunch of stars orbiting it super fast. It's really cool.Last edited by PVarck31; 12-20-2017, 02:24 PM.Comment

Re: The Astronomy and Physics thread. And things of the like.
A week ago, I think, I was reading an article where they were monitoring an asteroid that they believed was sending out radio signals.
Here's the article:
A few days later they reported that no radio signals were being broadcast.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Saw this last night out my window and climbed up on my back wall to get a look. Phone picture so it's terrible and the gas station across the street ruined the light.Attached FilesComment

That reminds me of what I saw a couple years ago driving to work one morning. I still have the pic in my phone. It was super odd, I was sending pics to everyone like what the hell is this lol. But NASA said it was just an Atlas V rocket launch that left a trail in the sky.

That Space X launch was beautiful.
And since the UFO stuff is getting major press I figure we should keep tabs on it so here's another article detailing some mysterious sightings.

To figure out just how much water may be on Proxima b, scientists used simulations that play with the estimated range of the planet's radius. With the maximum limit, Proxima b would be covered by a single, liquid ocean 200 km deep.
Some cool info about our nearest exoplanet Proxima b.Comment
