Yea they can't seem to do anything about it. It needs to be fixed on tapatalks end I'm sure.

It also reads different on people's profiles thru the app too.

I don't mind the like button on tapatalk. I'd easily trade the like button for the ability to have tapatalk embed tweets. Especially around this time of the year where people post tweets so often for various off-season rumors and trades.

Or wake up the next day either. But Sundays once dinner rolls around sucks, except on long weekends.

Main reason I don't ever want, or can mentally handle anything but a Monday to Friday schedule. I just can't handle two nights a week with that Sunday night feeling. Two most depressing nights a week, followed by two Monday morning feelings which sucks almost as much.

My grandpa was eating caramel corn, and found a peanut inside there.

The bag makes no mention of peanuts as an ingredient, or even a cross-contamination possibility from the facility.

Although I didn't have any myself (I passed when offered actually), given my deadly allergy to peanuts, this kind of thing really worries me. Even if I wasn't exposed to it and can't prove that it was inside, can't people sue for this kind of thing?

I think people probably could sue for things like that. Don't know success of it given no way to prove evidence, but there's a reason everything nowadays has so many warnings and cautions, either to protect from lawsuits and/or its happened before.

Disclaimer: I have no experience whatsoever with legal matters or lawsuits and I've never studied law. I didn't even stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

That said, if you approached the company about it, they would probably apologize up and down and offer you some free stuff? You'd just have to hope another peanut didn't materialize in your loot.

I'm not sure about the legality of nut warnings on products, whether they are mandated by FDA for any type of product you can imagine or if it's just a way to minimze litigation risks on behalf of the producers themselves. However, food products should be accurately labeled to state the ingredients inside. If peanut is not on the label, then the FDA would probably not be pleased and you might have a case/opportunity for a small settlement.

Here is an article from FDA about this type of (interstate commerce food labeling) issue: https://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/Con.../ucm337628.htm

The article even specifies resources for reporting violations if you want to go there. I'm not sure what the standard of evidence would be--I imagine people try to game the system pretty often so there must be some burden of proof.

I'm not encouraging or discouraging, just thinking out loud.

Yeah, basically once dinnertime on Sunday rolls around, it might as well just be another weeknight, except the weekend is a maximum length of time away.

I took a Prevue personality assessment test yesterday for some company I'm being interviewed at.

Not sure about all the words/numbers/shapes sections, but as far as the personality part goes I think I screwed it. Should have lied and gave them what they were (probably) hoping to see instead of being honest. Still waiting to see if they get back to me, but I feel like lying would be the right choice here.

Hope for the best...we'll see what happens.

In what may be seen as tame to others, I just finished perhaps the most entertaining and drama-filled conference calls in my 10 years working my current employer. One particular supervisor on the call was screaming at a project MGR and saying she won't meet her goals because of a tool that went live 2 weeks ago; she's throwing her under the bus claiming what she's done is inadequate and she didn't forecast this...

Meanwhile, the project MGR is sending IMs to the supervisor's MGR saying this supervisor is flipping out unjustifiably. The project MGR didn't realize she's on SCREEN SHARE for everybody to see so that created more drama.

I was thoroughly entertained throughout the hour, laughing thru it on mute.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I'm not much of a mall person(I like just going in,getting what I want, then leaving). Took several minutes just to walk from one side to the other without stopping, and walking fast, just to get an idea of how big the ground floor is. Malls aren't as fun by yourself though.

Can't believe people actually spend their day at a mall doing nothing. Like you'd just see people sitting there on those comfy chairs, just doing nothing for like the entire day. Hanging out at a mall with friends is one thing, but just hogging the good chairs while you're on your phone all day is another story.

Reminds me of the time I went to a store that had all their outdoor furniture/swings out on display, and you just see the entire display filled with people just using it to relax. Like actual shoppers who decided instead of buying that $1000 outdoor furniture set, to just go to the store and bring their house/guests with them lol.
