Never read any Harry Potter books or watched any Harry Potter movies...am I the only one who has no interest whatsoever in that stuff? I feel that nobody ever admits to not liking it?

I've never read any of the books or seen any of the movies either.

Never read/watched a single one. Never had any interest in it.

I read the first book and a chapter of the 2nd and had no more interest. Saw the first movie, and nothing else. Doesn't interest me at all.

My cousins' grandmother disowned them when they were like 14 and 11 over the books being tools of the devil though. Fun times. She called my aunt (it was her mom) a terrible parent and it led to them not talking for years even until she died. Not even sure if they went to the funeral.

The first and second movies are much different than the rest of the series. First 2 were directed by Chris Columbus and he made it more light/kid friendly type of stuff. The third movie and beyond are much darker tone and way better storytelling. Like my rankings went, the first 2 were my least fave of the series. Third one was way better

So my honeymoon is off to a rough start, Flight from Syracuse to Toronto was delayed 4 hours so we missed our connection to Amsterdam. Best Air Canada could do was get us into Lisbon but that flight was delayed 3 hours so we missed our connection to Amsterdam again. Currently we are 3 hours into a 6 hour layover, should get into Amsterdam around midnight tonight.

When we get in at midnight, that will be 24 hours flying or sitting in a airport. Done with Air Canada, other than the plane not crashing, it's gone about as bad as it can.

Reminds me when I was coming back from my honeymoon in Paris and my return flight didn't exist. That was fun lol.

I never seeked out the HP books or movies, but people around me had them and so I think I've read (bathroom reading ftw) almost all the books and seen most of the movies.

It's a cool fantastical world and story. I wouldn't call myself a HP fan, but I can see why people love it so much. That sense of wonder.

Lucky. I had to have people read out books/read them out loud myself all the way up until the end of high school.

I hated English class for that. Education system is messed up. English class doesn't help you with essay citations, memos, or writing resumes/cover letters or anything useful in life. But reading out loud to the class Act I,Scene V from some Shakespeare play as if I'm an actor will help me more in life.....

People made fun of me abit near end of HS for always refusing to do those types of stuff in class lol. Everyone else just sucked it up, I stuck to my principles.

Made the switch to Chrome from Firefox. Firefox had become painfully slow for me the last couple releases. Enjoying Chrome, went with uMatrix since Noscript isn't on Chrome.

Being home on a day where I'm supposed to have a package delivered, now just waiting all day. Hopefully it comes sooner rather than later because the wait sucks. It said it's on the truck as of 5am in a city about an hour away from me so would be nice if it comes by noon.


Edit: It came just after noon! The guy knocked once while he was walking away back to the truck..... Luckily he left the package, and most importantly, luckily I was home because he just dropped it by the doorstep. Not only could someone take it(it is valuable) but it's gonna rain today so it would've been completely ruined. Careless delivery, but at least I got it in one peace.

So I was out and about all day yesterday (doctor appointments etc etc) anyways my parents and I stopped to eat near a mall and I happened to walk inside. The place was pretty much a ghost town and barely had any stores in it. It still amazes me how quickly the brick and mortar retail business has shrunk. Even as recently as 10 years ago most malls had plenty of shops and people walking around. You still find that at the major malls but your typical medium sized shopping center is disappearing rapidly.

BTW health wise i'm doing alright. My Glaucoma affected eye is basically kaput in terms of vision but my right eye is still holding strong. I also went to my MD and i'm doing alright. At least now I can put aside the crazy paranoid thought that i'm losing weight as i'm the same as I was the last time I saw him.

There's only 1 vendor left in the food court and not many more stores besides J.C. Penny and Dicks Sporting Goods and the building itself is apparently falling into disrepair.

Which one? I know most here are struggling.

My closest mall is Robinson which seems to still be doing okay though.
