Don't worry, all weekends after this one will feel so much shorter once football takes up Sundays (and for people like me, hockey taking up Saturdays).

Going back after a holiday/long weekend, that first day back is always so hard.

Fantasy baseball related, I have a question and need an opinion:

Q: What happens when two playoff teams end the week with a 5-5 tie? I play Yahoo.

O: I think the only chance this thing does end in a tie is if my WHIP is passed. Currently I am leading 1.13 to 1.15. I have Michael Wacha scheduled to start tomorrow, and my opponent doesn't have anybody... however, he does have four relievers. Should I run the risk with starting Wacha and hope he lowers it to the point that his relievers can't pass me, or should I keep the 1.13 and hold onto hope that sticks? I also have Cody Allen and Blake Parker, and I suppose I can bench them as well.

Thanks. I'm a 4-seed and he's a 5-seed. I'm going to bench Wacha, keep my closers active, and hope that I stay on top.

Welp, a great day turned into a dreadful night.

Was in SD for vacation but flew back home to SF tonight. Left at 8:00, and upon arriving we took a U-turn because of thunderstorms, and flew all the way back to Ontario (SoCal), landed there, fueled up, then took off and landed again in SF.

I got home about fifteen minutes ago, and what do you know... power is out.

Now I'm sitting at a diner, typing this while streaming the live Giants game and ordering a massive breakfast meal. I haven't had food in nearly eleven hours now, just running on empty here.

Going to get about three hours of sleep, and the next few days have no room for nap time either.


EDIT: Welp... only took me about seven minutes to finish.

Nope, remember thunderstorms? Their game was in a weather delay until 11:00 PM. I got to watch/listen in the car until about 7-6 or so, I think it was the sixth inning at the time. Then I went to my power-less home and couldn't watch or listen anymore.

Power came back on last night at 3:23 AM, which was good. Bad news is I then had stomach pains for an hour long. Only got two hours of sleep in total.
