    re: Off-Topic

I recently purchased Madden 18 and wanted to check out some sliders, when I thought to myself maybe it was time to sign back in for old time sake. It's been a while to say the least. I'm sure most of you don't remember me, if anybody does, and since I haven't been here for a few years, I only have one thing to say..

Seahawks should have ran the ball.

Just reported a suspicious package near the center divide on the highway I drove on to work. Main suspicion for me, besides the nature of the occurrence, is that it's right on this 500-yard bridge that looks over the reservoir.

It's too bad I don't get a follow-up on this kind of thing, but I'm curious as to what it was. Hoping for the best, I'd just love for it to of course be something that fell out of a car. Of course, I'd also love to have averted a crisis all the same. I think it's more so that I would just feel "bad" if what I reported turns out to be a false alarm, because I did it with the best intentions.

It was prism-shaped, yes. It looked like it had light-brown paper around it as well.

I only got a quick glimpse of it. I was one lane over from the far left and it caught my eye. Again, I just figured be better safe than sorry. As long as they don't believe I was playing a ruse or baiting them, I don't think I'd be in the wrong for what I did.

I don't think you're in the wrong at all was just curious what the package was.

Hopefully it turned out to be a false alarm.

This winter season has been terrible for colds/flu/illness/crud.

I'm once again feeling it as I have a scratchy throat and chest congestion.

                So ready for warmer weather.

This flu cold thing hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday. I have not been sick in years. 102 fever, the works.

Dirty filthy humans spreading germs around me!

                    Yeah it's awful.

Thankfully *knocks on wood" I haven't had/been diagnosed with the flu. Hope that continues over the next 8-10 weeks when flu season is over.

Imagine if commercial trucks were like that? Drive over cars all the time on highways so they don't block traffic, and can allow people to pass them by driving underneath.

My 39 year old cousin just passed away from complications that began with the flu and I see a lot of stories similar to hers just about every time I watch the news or get on Facebook. Things can go downhill really quickly so I would definitely go see a doctor at the first signs of the flu.

Unless they were on a specific track and their wheels couldn't move side to side, there is no way I'd mess around with that. Those trucks are all over the lane sometimes.

Not sure I've ever had the flu (knock on wood), I've had some pretty bad colds though. Had a summer cold back in July or August, but haven't been sick this cold/flu season (knock on wood x2)

I'd think trucks like that would be pretty unstable too. I'd even question the stability of the SUV in the video especially when driving at speed and trying to navigate turns with the suspension fully raised.

Today I saw the largest spike in my Roth IRA than I ever have before, a 1.15% jump.

I got ahead of myself and checked to see how much money if I had an equivalent jump every day till I was 60 years old and never contributed to the account again, and I would nearly have one novemdecillion dollars. I think I got a little ahead of myself lol.

But seriously, seeing the sharpest incline at the beginning of this year with it, and liking where things are going. It looks nice to know that I could have a good amount of retirement cash flow headed my way, if not to my heir(s).
