So many people just get stuck in their "cliques" and can't even determine what to have for lunch without consulting 8 diff people. Now, I could actually do all this stuff on my own, not care about what my friends were doing, approach everything so much more wiser/maturely, and have much better routines.

Then again, there were many things where even if I could do it over again while using future knowledge, I still probably would hate having to do. Too many tedious things in HS and timewasters. 4 years of having to learn/memorize Shakespeare plays, learning about what to do if you want to solve for X if you know A,B,C,E, and you have to take into account a random triangle shaped item in the middle of it all that you have to subtract out of this equation lol.

Yeah, I'm with you. I put up with a whole lot of BS in high school. I would definitely hate having to retake most of my HS classes though. Especially trig and physics (shudders.)

It's complicated, though. In some ways, I wish I could go back and, in some ways, I can't run away fast enough.

        Off-Topic 2018

Haven’t thought about HS since the last day I was in the building. Not that I had a bad experience, I just wasn’t interested in it. I did my time, and got out.

My 10 year reunion is this year. You couldn’t pay me to go to it. Everyone around here pretty much stayed, my best friends from HS are still my best friends.

Not trying to be offensive here, but if you’re wrapped up in your HS reunion, it’s probably for the wrong reasons. I don’t care about what Suzy or Johnny are doing in the least. Just seems like people wanting attention or wanting to be nosy about what everyone else is doing.

I’m content with my life and it’s trajectory. I don’t care to show that off or interested in anyone else’s.

lol, I never knew HS reunions were an actual thing. Just thought they were something people mention but never actually took place.

If my HS ever did have any kind of reunion, I'm sure nobody would ever tell me lol(I don't stay in touch with people I knew from HS for various reasons), but I wouldn't want to go either.

                re: Off-Topic

A little over a year ago we had our ten year reunion being set up through Facebook, and it was really going to take off... then everyone saw we had to pay like $60 tickets, and no one bought in. So about 25 of us or so ended up meeting at a restaurant.

                Spoiler

It was still cool, but it kind of just felt like high school. Probably because we're all connected through social media, you know?

Not yet but I really want to. This film is practically meant to be in black and white.

High school was great for me so I would do it all over again. Re live 90's hip hop days, playing sports and was a good student. College is where I f'd up and was drunk and high the whole time, became obese and even homeless for a bit.

That's what I was curious about. When I bought the Blu-Ray, it came with the Noir version. I still haven't watched it and didn't know if it was better or worse or similar.

Yeah, I mentioned it for the first time here.

There may be a chromatic difference from just desaturating your set, that I'm not so sure... but it still looks too clean to give that great noir look. It's just not gritty enough, and too many modern-day action shots just make it look like it's in the wrong place.

Plus, I like the color this film has to offer. It's different from that bluish hue we are used to for most of the X-Men films, or any superhero films for that matter. Really gives it that western kind of feel.

This is of course all personal opinion. Don't make me stop you from checking it out for yourself, but I don't think I'll be watching it that way again unless out of necessity.
