Haha actually what happened is that my travel softball team finished a three-game day that lasted until late night, and we were out of town trying to find a place to eat. Somebody recommended Texas Roadhouse (which at the time I had not heard of), so I called them up beforehand to ask them about making a reservation and ingredients they use.
As far as the reservation, I asked something like: "Would you be able to accommodate 28 people?" They said it would take about 45 minutes but they would have the space for us. Then I let them know about my deadly peanut allergy, and the person on the other end wittily said: "... Well, then I take it your reservation will only be for 27 people, heh heh heh."
Needless to say, I told the team I had to compile a lot of numbers, watch video and do scouting that night for tomorrow's games, so I opted to skip dinner and said they could all go. No sacrifice, no victory. We placed in 2nd that weekend too.

Having a 6.5 hour match is a good way to weed out the casual viewers lol. Forget baseball, I think tennis has a bit of an attention span issue in 2018.Comment

To be fair, most tennis matches are much shorter. Blowouts can be done in an hour. Baseball, it's basically 3+ hrs no matter if it's 2-2 or 8-0.
If a tennis match goes long, it's because it's been a close, hard fought game. Attention span still tested regardless of quality, but that's more about people today than it is quality of the action.Comment

I love Papa Murphy's because if you call and order they'll tell you it'll be a 45 minute wait, because they have like 2 people working there just so they can save on overhead. And the prices are always at least $12.99 even though they don't have to spend money on ovens. It's great.Comment

Shifting gears from talking about pizza...
I have a habit of keeping the change I get. If I pay with bills, I don't end up using the dimes and quarters I get back (I don't like being "that guy". The one who'll spend the next 30 seconds laying out coins to pay.). I mainly just use coins for small things like parking stub.
Today I decided to count up and exchange the coins I had for bills.
LOL, it almost does feel like free money. It's money I really wouldn't have spent.
Actually... The amount I got from the change, I could order pizzas. I guess we're back on that topic again.Comment
