Mo became a really close friend over the past couple of years. We had some really great, late nights of gaming and the most ridiculous Madden franchises I've ever been apart of. He always knew what exactly what to say to piss you off in a moment, in the best way, and was seriously one of the most generous people I've ever met. I'm going to miss him like crazy.

Damn man.
Didn’t know him personally but on here, he was definitely one of the funnier posters here, especially when it came to Soccer and the Bears.
RIP Mo. You will be missed.#RespectTheCultureComment

Our interactions were few and far between but know many here considered him a friend and great person. May his loved ones and those of you here find peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Re: RIP Mo...
Damn, A great loss to his family and the family he had here on OS. I didn't have that much interaction with him but I clearly recall following the Cubs/Indians WS on Twitter and going back and forth with him and some others. Reading the tributes here from those who knew him more than I did I can tell he was a great guy and full of life and humor.
He will be sorely missed.

Re: RIP Mo...
I knew Mo for over a decade, and although he had horrible taste in college football teams(FSU), he was a friend...a good friend. We spent countless hours in party chats, played in many Madden and fantasy baseball leagues - and turned a ton of laps together in multiple racing games.
I really can't add much more than what has already been said, except I will dearly miss him, and the peoples lives who he touched, were better for it.

Re: RIP Mo...
Today has been tough. I’ve teared up more times than I can count. Mo had a profound impact on my life. He cared about people... something we need more of. He was funny and always seemed to be in good spirits.
It is never easy to lose a friend and Mo... I will never forget you. A month ago (2/17/18), Mo said he had leukemia. I prayed he was going to win this fight and continue to live his life. I’m not going to lie... it was tough to know a friend was ill.
As some of you know, I care about my OS brothers. If I don’t see ya guys on here or Twitter, I send messages to make sure everything is ok. I know some of you guys better than my co-workers. We all share a common bond... sports and video games. I will never forget the bond I had shared with Mo... we were Corey Patterson fans.
I quote what Matrix said on Twitter... “I always wondered how I'd feel if an online buddy passed away. Turns out it feels just like losing someone "in real life."
This is exactly my thoughts. Mo was a good dude and deserved to live his life to the fullest. I won’t forget him.
Mo... not sure when it will be but we are bound to meet one day. I’m looking forward to chatting with you again.
RIP, my brother.

I really liked Mo. We met way back in the day in the Madden online dynasty here and we would chat back and forth on twitter. He was always level headed and very witty. Sucks to hear he’s gone.Comment

Re: RIP Mo...
Heartbreaking to hear. Like some others, I didn’t have any relationship with him outside of the forums. But from being on OS for half of my life now, there are certain guys you see over and over. You start to feel like you know these people from chiming in on discussions here and there, even if you’ve never met or addressed each other directly.
I think it speaks volumes to the connections that are formed here on OS and across different platforms when something like this happens and you see, read, and feel the very real pain many are feeling from this. My heart is heavy for you guys.

Re: RIP Mo...
I had known Mo was sick since he told those of us who follow him on twitter last month, and I had just been thinking of him the other day wondering how he was doing since I hadn't seen him post or tweet in a while so it was a real shock to get on twitter this morning only to see that he had passed.
Like Matrix said, Mo ran the OSNQ fantasy baseball and football leagues which I have been a part of for many years; and he also ran the OSFC fantasy NASCAR league which I also participated in. Neither of those will be quite the same without him. I'll always remember him for his obsession with Corey Patterson and for his relentlessly picking on Bob (bluengold34_OS). Though I never interacted with him beyond OS and twitter, he always seemed like a good guy and he will be greatly missed.
