My grandfather instilled in me the importance of being able to laugh at yourself, and I believe if I can laugh at me, why not let others do the same? I've had an unfortunate twenty-four hours.

I had my vasectomy last Wednesday, the day after Christmas. This is already going great, yeah? Well, everything had been good for the most part, the expected pains and a really bad move on my part, putting roller skates on this weekend. But nothing tore, so all was well.

But last night, it tore. One stitch. Put a bandaid on, no big deal. Through the night and me taking a shower today, the rest of the stitches came out and I had a nice, pinky-sized hole left exposed. Roll Tide. My wife calls the doctor, they say bandaid it or liquid bandaid it. Well, I can't trust a bandaid and I'm not paying for liquid bandaid when I have superglue... so I use superglue. A little initial burn, but nothing bad at all. I wait for it to dry, get dressed and then I notice my mistake.

I've glued myself. To myself. I'm not elaborating. If your imagination can't take you there, good for you. Really. If you know what I meant by that, you probably cringed a little. Well, the process of pulling myself from myself was more painful that most of the initial recovery. Fast forward since then, all is well now. The second round of glue, I made certain it was dry.

Bob Einstein also passed away today. More recently known for playing Funkhouser on Curb Your Enthusiasm, but I think a lot of us here are old enough to remember Super Dave Osborne too.

Don't forget "the Surrogate" from Arrested Development...



but yeah this is definitely a tough one for me... Marty Funkhouser was one of my favorites.

you should have saved yourself from even having surgery in the first place and just superglued it shut.

Today I learned that back in 2003, we almost had a movie similar to Space Jam but it was going to have Tony Hawk and be called Skate Jam.

But Looney Tunes: Back in Action ended up being such a bomb, that they cancelled production.

A bit of a shame. I didn't realize Looney Tunes: BIA was such a bomb. I really enjoyed that flick.
