file this on under: Well If That Dont Beat All I Ever Seen. Lady A, the artists formerly known as Lady Antebellum, is now suing, of all people, a blues singer who has gone by the name Lady A for the better part of 20 years. guess they should consider going by Lady A-Hole. this is worse than the time Burger Burger King was forced to go by his initials by a fast-food restaurant

I guess I should specify "the best way to post a tweet that it just text".

This seems like an easy way to start a debate.

Theres so many things wrong with this pic.

Packers aren't most popular in Wisconsin? Sonics are most popular in Seattle? Coyotes are most popular in Arizona LOL.

Duke is definitely not the most popular team in NC.

And the university of Tennessee most popular in Mississippi? WTF kind of survey was this?

I keep forgetting I have an account here. I am a neglectful account owner.

With that said, I sincerely hope everyone is safe from all the craziness in the world. On a selfish note, me and my girlfriend have been waiting to see a Colts/Packers game together in person for 4 years, as that is their rotation. I'm a Colts fan, she's a Packers fan. They were supposed to play this year in Indy. I don't think that's going to happen, and I couldn't be more bummed.

                    Peace and love to all.

Ohio St. most popular in Michigan! That seems about as unlikely as you can get

And the Yankees NOT being the most popular in New York also seems fairly unlikely

I can see Ohio State being the most popular in Michigan. If you watch football, the Buckeyes have owned the Wolverines for a while now...

oh, and the Chargers in California? Couldn't get 20,000 home fans to come to their temporary stadium... and yet, they're the most popular in California.

Positive & Negative controls are clearly inaccurate, meaning the entire thing is inaccurate. Which also highlights the flaws in "data-based" results, since it depends on what data you're looking at and how you interpret it.

The Sports Housing and Recreational Tourism data, in addition to being from an unknown organization with no insight into how that data was obtained or analyzed (#1 key factor in evaluating things like this), is not exactly from a known to be reputable group as far as I know. It also may be a very warped picture, in that it's possible that the fans most likely to travel to the state of Michigan to see a game may well be the Ohio State Buckeye fans, but that is a far cry from saying OSU is the most popular team in Michigan.

Source of data, data integrity, methodology (how the data is analyzed), and finally, whether the conclusion(s) drawn from the data are accurate/reasonable are all a part of the evaluation of something like this. Almost all of the above are missing from even the highest-profile allegedly "data-based" statements/stories you see these days. Just saying something is based on data means absolutely nothing.

a smaller group of fans spending more $ on their team over another teams fanbase (who may have less disposable income) doesn't necessarily make a team more popular.

also, I'm aware of the Astr*s success the last 3 years but I'd still bet the Cowboys are more popular
