I'm still holding out for a home alone sequel. Not those cheap ones from Home Alone 3 and on, but an actual follow up to the first 2.
Macauley seems like he's real open to that. I believe Daniel Stern (Marv) has wanted that too. Wouldn't be surprised if they could get Catherine O'Hara back for an appearance too.

Have a more "PG13" version for the sequel.
This year makes 30 years since the original!
I've said it before somewhere here in the OS circles, the next Home Alone should be Pesci & Stern left alone for the night in an old folks/nursing home, and a gacked out Kevin looking for money to fund his next fix breaks into said old folks home to take whatever he can. Pesci & Stern finally give to McCulkin what's been coming to him all these years. has Instant Christmas Classic written all over it, right up there with Wonderful Life, Christmas Story & Die Hard

Pesci I really doubt would even consider this.
My idea of Kevin growing up to become the villain with Marv would be funny. Or the masked villain for the entire movie, with the big reveal at the end being that it's a grown up Kevin. That would be Darth Vader level big in terms of reveals.

Pesci too high and mighty for Home Alone 7: Kevin Goes To Hell? Pah. Just CGI him in then.

He basically retired from acting, only a few things since the 90s, although The Irishman was a big hit. And wasn't Home Alone the only family movie he ever did?
People really want to wear a Sunchips ranch sweatshirt?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
Could someone help me optimize my router settings? I am an idiot when it comes to routers, and Google just is not helping me.
I GUESS I WILL JUST SUFFER FOREVER.
