People claimed it was staged, I dont believe that. That was intended and scary.

The live broadcast would make you feel it was planned, but cutting the audio, and finding out what he actually said which is why the audio cut out, that was real. ABC is lucky there was a delay to be able to censor it.

Yeah no way that's staged. Will Smith looked livid (and like an immature child). Chris Rock should press, though I doubt he will actually do it.

Will Smith tweeted (since deleted I believe) the same phrase that he got censored. Kind of further solidifying that this was not staged.

I thought it was a bit at first. Then I saw the uncensored feed and I saw the footage of Tyler Perry and Denzel Washington pulling Will to the side and talking to him.

I also saw Jomboy’s breakdown, where I missed Will chuckled at the joke, but his wife had the most disgusted look on her face.

Props to Chris Rock taking that slap like a champ though. Rock did start to say something…”I could…”

He probably thought of an hour long monologue where he could’ve laid into Will’s personal life, but maintained his professionalism.
