If you can't get people to take proper precautions now then unfortunately things will need to be escalated.
I predict we start seeing Marshall law in places by next Wednesday. I hope it happens here , people are morons.

I'm honestly not sure how my locality would react. Two months ago they were campaigning for a county militia separate from the state and federal government.

Ummm, there are some real morons and sickos in this country.

Dr. Fauci's life has been threatened, some of these folks feels he is the leading influencer of President Trump.

Now, Dr. Fauci needs round the clock security. The guy is 79 years old.

Tax returns are due on May 1st. Everybody automatically gets a 6 month extension (always have). If you owe taxes to the state then the tax is due by May 1st. They will allow you to pay as late as June 1st with no Late Payment Penalty, HOWEVER, interest will accrue from May 1st to whenever you pay.

Basically it just seems like a feel good marketing ploy to allow people to say they aren't charging late fees.
Sounds like it, no lates fees but now you owe us 90days worth of interest while your not making any payments. Same thing as car deals: "
What Should You Know About An Auto Loan No Payment 90 Days?

What should you know about any credit vehicle loans that promises to delay your payment? You should understand that:
            1. The First Payment Is Typically Due 90 Days After The Sale Is Finalized
            2. Interest May Accrue On The Loan
            3. You May Face Higher Payments Due To The Accrued Interest"

                ^^^Yup,:

After resisting a statewide stay-at-home order for days, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) succumbed to the pressure and issued one on Wednesday. Part of the reason, he said, was that he had just learned some new information.

Kemp said he was “finding out that this virus is now transmitting before people see signs.”

“Those individuals could have been infecting people before they ever felt bad, but we didn’t know that until the last 24 hours,” he said. He added that the state’s top doctor told him that “this is a game-changer.”
                I can't even...incredible.

How the hell did they just find that out? I guess that's the problem leaving **** up to the states - 50 different responses.

After hearing the media asking questions every day at these government/health official press conferences, you realize how stupid some of them are.

I swear some of these people ask the same question every day.

And people actually ask when they think this will be over with, and when will we reach the peak of this.

I like the answer given back. "We'll know the peak of the pandemic after we've passed it".

That's like asking when is a sports players peak. We'll know when his peak was after he's passed it.

Yes, but if you don't have symptoms, then you're going to be OK. Still don't want to be spreading it, but it's the severity of the symptoms (inflammation and fluid build-up in the lungs especially) that determine how close of a call you might have.

If true, Brian Kemp might be the dumbest person in the state of Georgia.

So I was playing a game (Mass Effect if you must know) but couldn't stop thinking about this Brian Kemp story. I started getting really mad thinking about it. This level of stupidity, of ineptitude. It is unbelievable. Kemp should consider resigning.

Felt a little more rough today but nothing severe. Next 72 hours are the critical part according to my dr. If I get through Sunday with minor symptoms then I should be pass the point of getting critical symptoms.

                            At least that’s the thought.

My company put a few locations, and all their employees, on furlough today due to low performance and minimal outlooks in terms of progress. It really upsets me, even if I know the reasoning that is ensures the well-being of the company...I just dislike putting anybody out to pasture like that, it feels like abandonment to me.
