    OS Annual Christmas Thread

    Merry Christmas Everyone.

I thought this was the best way to kick off this timeless (LOL) OS tradition. I’m sitting here in front of one of our Christmas trees watching a Hallmark Christmas Movie. They are pretty much all the same, just with different ways for 2 unlikely people to meet and fall in love during the holiday season. I can’t get enough of them.

We have all been through a lot the past 2 years. I pray and hope that you and your families are doing well. May this be the best Christmas ever for all of you, no matter what life throws in your way.

This thread is to share the holiday with each other. From pictures to new holiday specials that are coming out this season. I’m most excited for the Santa Clause series on Disney+ and Ryan Reynolds’s and Will Farrell’s new Christmas musical losely based around Dickens Christmas Carol.

So, again…I wish you all a Merry Christmas, to all the OG’s of these Christmas threads and hopefully many new OS members to this thread as well.
I am the lesson after the fall.

Here is my wife’s handiwork for our lifestyle bed. She had to buy 2 sets single sheets sets plus a king size set of sheets for our adjustable be. Highly recommended may I add. I appreciate her dedication to decorating our bed set.

I take more photos of the house and the decorations as we finish up the last touches.

***mind the wrinkles. I made the bed when i woke up and didn't smooth out the duvet and I heard about it. My thinking is, we are sleeping in it tonight, my wife believes otherwise. LOL.

Just received my first Christmas gift. I just read the Free Mason thread. Absolute gold.

My grandfather was and my dad is a Mason, however my Dad no longer attends. They both reached the level of 3rd Degree Master Mason. From what I know, it’s a man’s club with secret handshakes. However, I like the conspiracy stuff better, so I choose to believe my Dad helps rule the world with The Bush’s.

As for me, I never asked or was asked to join. I’m just a disable Christmas loving former gym teacher who has a shoe fetish. 185 pairs and counting.

Why'd you start the thread so late this year?

Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

To keep everyone on their toes. Plus have a 6 year old and 3 year old has made quiet moments a little difficult to come by. I wish I had their energy.

Tim Horton's released their new Christmas Cup for the season. I'm a fan.\\

I plan on setting up the Nativity set today after I play around of PGA 2K23.

Just caught my first 'flipping through the channels' glimpse of a cheesy crap Hallmark holiday movie. It was the "mini-picture" from the guide that you get while flipping through channels, but the (soundless) part I saw was some prince on one knee proposing to some street-clothes-wearing woman, and she was nodding/sobbing enthusiastically. L-oh-friggin'-L.

                I know that one!

She was a go getter living the big city life who is visiting some small town that is getting stressed planning their annual Christmas festival, meets that guy, likes him, joins the entire town planning that festival, eventually distances herself from him over a giant misunderstanding, but eventually he wins her back and proposes during the festival and they all lived happily ever after.

Putting the tree up the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Will decorate the inside then too. Not planning to decorate outside this year.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

We haven't put our tree up yet because we're looking for a new one. Our current one has been decimated by cats and half the bottom layers do not stand on their own.

No, I think that was a different one. Or, maybe it was the same one? Oh, who are we kidding, they're all like that.

I was at Canadian Tire the other day with my son and we were looking at the Christmas Decorations and stuff like that. The new artificial trees look amazing. I want a white one for our bedroom, but my wife is resisting that. They have trees that look like they have snow on them. We have the Hallmark tree with fake snow, but these new ones look even better.

It probably was a completely different movie.

The one you're thinking of happened in some town like Pine Hills.

The one I'm thinking of happened in Evergreen Valley.

Disney+ with the first 2 (of 6) episodes of the Santa Clauses.

It picks up where the 3rd movie left off, hopefully it's better, I don't even watch the 3rd movie anymore, but might force myself to do so to connect to this series.
