Good time to live in ca lol. We are in like a heat wave lol. Even though winter only started like 4 days ago we have fellt like winter for like the last 2 months basically before yesterday. Yesterday was low 60s and today and tomorrow are supposed to be middle to low 60s average for winter is about 52 here. Was having a lot of 40s and 50s before last few days.

Doesn't even feel like Christmas which is crazy to say.

Probably because for many, Friday was still a work day. Might have been a "phone it in" kind of day, but was still a non weekend day for most.

So right away Christmas Eve/Christmas gets thrown at you. And just like that, new years is on the horizon.

Once that hits, it's 2 months of depressing winter weather.

I can't say I'm a big Christmas person but I was actually in a pretty jolly mood yesterday morning. Then I got a call that my dad's house (and the house I grew up in) burned down, my dad barely escaped the fire and is in the burn unit on a ventilator. Ugh.

That's absolutely terrible man. I pray that your father makes a quick recovery. And things get better. That's so heartbreaking.
