It's not from the forum pages, but Is anybody else having problems not being able to see and post comments to articles on the OS pages? I click on "Join the Conversation", and nothing happens. This is on Firefox with the ad blocker turned "off."

It's on the list of things that need to be addressed.

The thing that still bugs me is I can't find a way to get my new posts from subscribed threads lumped together in a single click. There's too much overnavigation. I click "my recent posts" and it gives me like a top 3 sticky thing and everything below needs to be sorted by activity and still doesn't give me what I want. I go to the Subscriptions tab and set it to latest activity and it just shows me a checkmark that I've subscribed to the thread, which is what I already know, it doesn't take me to the most recent post., TAKE ME TO THE MOST RECENT POST! This is driving me crazy. Simplify, for the love of all that is holy, SIMPLIFY!

Most posts on this page (24) have been about this issue. Steve just posted "I have asked about the styles not showing up" right above your post.

Seems like a known bug.

Is there a way to turn dark mode off? I've never chosen it, and its unbearably difficult to read for me. I'm a 100% brightness guy, and its like trying to use someone's phone who's set to dim. I also have a really hard time reading the very very small font size.

Just a heads up that I have asked about the styles not showing up and when the data migration will be completed. I haven't heard back yet but when I get some answers I'll let everyone know. Sorry I don't have the answers, but I'm doing what I can.

I've been accessing the OS forum for years on my desktop. The following are my issues(some are repeats of other posts.).
I'd like the white background better on this forum.
The font size is too small.
Usernames in blue are (to me) unreadable.
When I try to go from say page 23 to page 24(as an example) all I get is a spinning circle. I counted up to 30 seconds with no change.When I hit the refresh icon the page finally advances.This issue is true on Chrome and Edge.It is still an issue with anti virus turned off.
To make it stranger it is NOT an issue in Firefox although it takes about 4 seconds to change pages.

Is there any update on the style dropdown disappearing? The enforced dark mode is very painful for a lot of people with vision issues. Makes it almost impossible for me to use the board without resorting to CSS hacks.

This homes.com banner ad is a bit problematic the ad actually continues further up than where the top margin appears to be. About where I drew the red line in this screen capture. so sometimes I think I'm clicking the 'post reply' button but the ad is overlying it so I am actually clicking the ad and getting redirected. I've had this happen a few times, most recently with this ad but I'm not sure if the other instances were the same one.

Yeah its 3 weeks now. I am losing hope at this stage. Had a good dynasty going and had pre written lots of other new posts in old dyasties of mine. all are lost for now. At least the site is running faster now. Whether I'll stay here or not is to be seen. Would love the Old OS Forums skin back.

I know it's frustrating, but yes, it's still happening, just slower than we'd like. The issue was the site was so slow and that had to be solved first, so now we're trying to backfill and get everything else in order.

Just some feedback

The original (after the upgrade) default theme was very displeasing to the eyes imo. I tried and all of the different options available and settled on the dark theme, like I typically would with any page that offers the option. The dark theme does look slick, but something about about it does seem to make it harder to read/follow the action in a thread though. Especially with user names. Some of the colored names don't seem to play nice with the background. Quoted text also does not seem to pop quite as much as it used to either. The old forums certainly had a look that could be seen as dated, but I also think that the style was more functional.

Really hoping that we can get posts beyond April 8th back. There were a few conversations going on that it does kind of suck to have lost the activity for. I also tend to roll forward my posts in the 2025 Gaming Plans so that I can keep track of my progress over the year, and I know that one of those posts is currently lost among others.

I think what would help the dark mode be easier to read is if the typed text was actually white instead of this offshade tan type color.

EDIT: I also think another reason it's harder to read this version of the forum is the font size seems smaller than the old place. I don't know if it is or not but the size is very small. If it was even just 1 point higher it would do wonders, personally I'd vote for 2 points higher. But that's just because I don't have the best eye sight to begin with. I really don't want to have to zoom in on this website like I do some of the others I use. LOL! Yes, I'm getting old. Haha.
