Something a little strange, basically when I click on the >> for the last post, it's one not by TripleCrown9, same thing for CFB 26 news, when I click on that and go to page 2, the last post isn't by TripleCrown9.

Still can't easily tell which of my subscribed threads I haven't read.... The old OS CP, was super easy to know which ones I didn't read yet.

I still have an old tab up that shows the old subscription view. Pasting here in case anyone wants to compare.

Searching isn't fully working it seems. Like not all old posts are indexed. Definitely things to work through here.

The new CP area can be seen in these links. They have been renamed in the new version, it's no longer control panel.

There are some more options by clicking your username at the top right and go to My Profile.

Ok, so umm, we may have a problem. There is a thread by a new member asking about his account priveledges and saying he wanted to become a supporter. I'd noticed some of the stickied threads in Steve's for had disappeared, but assumed maybe they just got unstickied for some reason so I went to search for it in Advanced Search using 'supporter' and 'support' as keywords and was unable to find it. I only found 1 thread from 2002 that had 4 posts in it. Geez, I hope it didn't actually get deleted (maybe that's how Steve accidentally got banned yesterday.

Also, when searching, I noticed that in the advanced search menu, the 'sources' lists all subforums then also has a section for articles and blogs, but after blogs it appears to list every tsingle individual blog present on OS

Bug I just found.

When attempting to click the button to subscribe to the College Hoops 2K subforum, I get this error:

Do me a favor studbucket and go to this screen which is in your My Profile then click on Subscribed tab. Obviously you might have a lot in there, if you then click on Subscribers in the left panel, while that's technically for people who subscribe to you, see if you're subscribed to people as well on that screen. If so, unsubscribe -- and if you have people you're subscribed to (rather than just threads) in the "Subscriptions" panel on the left side, unsubscribe from them as well. See if that improved the My Subscriptions page for you or gets it closer to old style (shows new posts from threads you've replied in previously but haven't checked in since new posts)

And if you go to your Subscribers, see if you're subscribing to people in there -- and if so Unsubscribe to them. Here is what mine looks like after doing all that:

So it seems that all of my subscriptions were removed overnight, so I can't actually test this. But I also only had 10 friends, so they weren't cluttering up my feed. Here's what it shows now:

Geez, you 2 ever consider using multi-quote? Though the method seems a bit clunky on the new boards. Have to hit 'quote' on one post and it is brought into the reply window then you can go back up and hit 'quote' on additional posts to the top of the page and hit 'post reply to bring all the quoted posts into the post window. Any way they can re-add the multi-quote button like on the oald boards?

As for subscriptions, it seems that all of our 'friends' were converted into subscriptions. If you go into your message center, they will be divided into 'posts' and 'users' with all the random subscribed threads coming from the 'users' section. My guess is those are recent threads that friended users posted int.

Really liking the ability to just copy & paste images into posts.

Right, and I think what you would want is the My Subscriptions option -- at least that's what I want -- but it's subscribing you to random ish like me (I assume) and it's out of order of dates and stuff anyway. You can go to your Notifications settings within your My Profile and the "auto-subscribe" to threads I post in is still there so it's not like it's not a thing anymore, it's just not working as intended right now I don't think.

(It may be because I'm somehow subscribed to people btw, which probably ties back into the olddddddd days of My Arena when I would have "friends". So if you maybe unsubscribe to all those people it will work like it used to minus the out-of-order posts which we'll look into.)

So, I think there's 2 problems here:
1 - there's no way to see which of your subscriptions are unread

2 - there are 3 (maybe more) places to see subscriptions.
a) Forums home -> My Subscriptions
b) User Profile -> Subscribed (which seems a lot like a), but shows different content for me)
c) User Profile -> Subscriptions (which sorts things in a not useful order and doesn't show you information like who posted last, when, etc)

So there's 3 ways to see this, but none of them actually provide the same thing, or what I want it seems. I can get screenshots and more details if needed.

Hmmm. Did we completely turn off the notifications for subscribed threads? I'm not getting anything now, and that was the only "easy" way to navigate to where I want to read/post.

Tried Chrome and Fox.

This exists as Steve said within My Profile ---> Subscriptions:

The issue is it's just subscribing you to seemingly random things right now, so I know they're trying to figure out what the flip is going on there.

So what I do as a "cheat" for now is I click the little bookmark button next to the post number at the top right of a post:

And then if I click on my name at the top right of the entire window to get the dropdown, then click on "Bookmarks" it shows me the thread if I just want easy access to pop back into it from one spot:

Haha our apologies. It's obviously been bumpier than we want, but I assure you we did need to rip this band-aid off at some point. It had been like literally 10 years in the making and at a certain point the old system would have just crapped out entirely.
