Any idea when we awe getting the old posts back? I’ve kept my dynasty on hold for a month while that’s worked out, but I’m starting to wonder if I should just repost those posts and move on?

I am also still having intermittent speed/performance issues.

One thing I definitely like about the upgrade is that threads automatically save what you are writing. It was frustrating in the previous forum that I would switch to another app and switch back and the browser would automatically refresh and I lose everything I typed. it's definitely a QOL feature that I appreciate

Another issue I'm having is I can't find "actual golf" thread, we just had a major and idunno if I'm just navigating wrong but it's nowhere to be found for me

Tennis is another, French Open is coming up soon and I checked to see if I can find the "actual tennis" thread and couldn't find that either

edit: even if this is a "no posts prior to april 8" or whatever issue, isn't there a way to bump the threads so they appear again?

The Tennis thread is here: Actual Tennis - Operation Sports Forums

I always forget if we post about real golf in the OS Golfers thread or is there like an actual golf discussion one just for PGA and such? The real golf one is still there, not sure what the "just chatting about golf tourneys" one is called if that's a thing, but I don't see why I wouldn't exist if so.

Well into week 3 of the 2 week move and still no posts from after 8th April. Any sign of these moving over yet? Also site is still extremely slow. Chrome is not usuable, firefox, safari and edge marginally better. Really hope this gets ironed out soon.

I wonder if there's an airline forum out there that gets spam sports posts.

I can't remember which forum, but it was quite a few of them. I took care of them all, unless some of the mods got to some prior to me deleting the ones I saw anyways.

Yeah, I got a bunch of them too. Mostly in Steve's forum but a few scattered around other forums as well.

OK... So the engineer found out that the notifications (up at the top of the nav bar) are the main culprit to the slow downs and the forums should be very speedy for everyone now, including those that were getting 1 to 2 minute load times.

For now, to see if you have any notifications, you'll have to click in the area up at the top. Ya, it's annoying, but that's the fix for now. It's a VB6 issue, but we are looking into a way around it.

So cool to see, great find by the engineer. Maybe instead of the notifications button being a dropdown, it can just be a link directly to that page? Not sure how easy it is to make that change.

What are the odds of having a dynamic skin that's light during the day and dark at night? Another board I frequent has it and I really like it. Obviously, it's in the nice-to-have bucket rather than a priority.

Site is moving faster for me tonight, which is nice.

That would actually be cool. I sorted out my issues switching themes on PC (deleting cached data resolved it - that should've been my first move, lol) but if it happened automatically? Even better.

And I'm sure it'll be noticed before someone sees this post but another round of spam posts have hit Steve's Forum. As of this reply it's the only board effected.

Anyway to mass unsubscribe from your subscriptions? I have thousands of subscriptions going back to when I first joined the site that I'd like to not receive updates on daily but it seems I have to manually unsubscribe from each item one at a time, page by page.... which I did for like 60-70 pages already, however, there's 250 more that I don't want to do manually.

Yeah, as Steve said this was the issue that was affecting me, and the site speed is much better now. Thanks guys!

Edit: Hmm, that was supposed to quote Steve's last post - 297. I had a feeling it wasn't going to work when his post didn't show up in the preview, though. I did click the quote button below it. Other post quote buttons I click on show the quote tags and post in the text box, just that one doesn't. Weird.

Also just now...I don't know if anyone else saw it, but entering that number above with a pound sign directly before it turned the text into something really strange. I'm assuming the mods can see the edit and I'll leave it at that.

Sounds like you had auto subscriptions turned on like I did. Maybe I'm not alone in the 5000 subscriptions club!
Yeah, I'm a little curious about this too. I'd probably rather just go through mine manually though because there are some threads with developer posts mixed in that I don't want to lose access to.

(see, this quoted post worked fine!)
