I'm not getting notifications on the top bar when people quote/reply to me, even though I have that setting checked in notification settings.

Steve_OS I just did some testing and it looks like using HTML, or at least the Advanced Option "Convert Linebreaks", is causing the issue. I made some posts with and without images and turned HTML off, and I can edit them. The ones with HTML on have locked me out from editing.

The ones without HTML also have the Edit / Quote / Comment / Flag buttons showing now, but they don't work from the thread. I can still use them correctly from my Profile.

Post #5 / 6 started the problem where it duplicated. #7 is when the posting field covered posts #7 and down. At the moment it looks like it is only affecting my view, I've posted more and if I'm not signed in the thread looks normal (outside of the double posts). I'm going to try and push it to a second page and see if the reply field continues to cover posts. Thank you for looking into it.

Can you try and see if you can post as HTML in blogs now? I tried it with my test account and I could, so I'm curious if this is now fixed.

I tried it. Still doesn't work.

Still no option to turn on HTML, like there is in the forums

The engineer looked into this one for a good hour or so and couldn't figure it out. I'd say you'll probably need to start a new thread. Do you see the last post at all or know which post # caused the chaos?

Not clear if I did something wrong and damaged my Dynasty thread, but I'm having some serious issues with the thread and some posts within the thread.

The Incident : I filled out a reply (hit the 'source' option, using HTML), set the advanced options to Convert Linebreaks, previewed the post, then posted it. Nothing came up on my screen as though a post had been made, and when I reloaded / came back to the thread the post / reply box was now enormous and blocking what appears to be my post. Something like this happened with the previous post, but in that instance it created duplicate posts.

1 - The reply box looks like this now, only in my thread, and won't go away if I post something.

It's now so big it blocks off a large area, the bottom of it looks like this.

The edit / quote / comment / flag options now appear, but I can't click on any of them.

2 - I can see the posts from My Profile, but it looks as though it was partially processed (there was a body of text after the image that now appears broken).

3 - I can click on the Edit option from here, but when that happens the view of the post collapses and the editing window / field never loads.

4 - I wait 10-15 minutes, nothing happens. When I go to leave the page I get a warning as though the editing window is active.

5 - In general it looks like I can't edit any of my posts in the thread. From the thread the post options (edit / quote / comment / flag) aren't even visible. If I try to edit posts from My Profile I CAN edit them if I only posted text, and I can also delete the post in this manner.

Is this a known issue? Did I do something I shouldn't have?

It was a lot of 502 time outs tonight, along with just CloudFlare errors. Haven't been able to connect for at least 3 or maybe even 4 hours tonight.

Ya, it was an unplanned outage as some work on the homepage and forums were being done.

This is not falling on deaf ears. If we had a team of guys that only worked on the OS Forums this would have been done a long time ago. We have 1 engineer and me. I don't count because I can only handle the easier things.

Anyways, the forum upgrade needed to be done because they were crashing constantly behind the scenes so we couldn't possibly test everything or get themes back as we were working on simply getting the upgrade done and making sure the more important things were working. If this wasn't done, the forums would have been completely down and who knows for how long it would have been for.

Obviously the forum theme is important as it does make things feel more at home but I'm trying what I can do and the only thing I ask for is patience. Wish I could get things done faster but it's simply not possible.

Appreciate the update on this. I'm not sure I realized its just you and one other guy. That makes things much more understanding on why this is taking more time than you thought.

I feel like the search function s a bit off. I haven't used it in over a week, but when I did it wouldn't find the results I was searching for. Words that I know I used in specific posts never appeared, almost as if some threads are invisible to the feature. The MLB Off-Topic thread is an example.

Can you try and see if you can post as HTML in blogs now? I tried it with my test account and I could, so I'm curious if this is now fixed.

I'm all for kinks being worked out and important stuff, but are we to having the forums look like Operation Sports again skin wise?

I feel like as minor as that is, that should have been a day 1 launch priority, make it look and feel like "home".

OK, I pushed it up on the list of things to do. Please understand that there is 1 engineer that handles all of the sites on the Gamurs network. I try to do what I can and that means the easier stuff. I can't promise when it will get done but we will get to it.
