Yes I can get in now and the issue with long articles being cut off appears to be fixed as well. The last test post I did (Just editing the last post I made) saved the changes with the entire article.

Still not seeing the option to enable html links, but aside from the tables not working everything else seems to be working.

Also found a way to make the quick reply window bigger, that wasn't there before, so posting long updates would be easier. And I will say the site appears to be running a lot smoother this morning than it has in a while for me at least.

Issue: smiley disappeared on post.

Description: entering in a smiley with a colon+parentheses disappears on post. I will now hit enter twice and post 5 smileys:

Following up here, it appears many emojis are broken.

Issue: emojis don't work

Description: click the smiley face next to the "A" in the new post UI (see screenshot 1). Click to add various emojis to a post. Click preview (or post), see that no emojis show up. See screenshot 2.

Issue: subscription initial sorting state is confusing

Description: On my subscription page (accessed by clicking the Subscriptions - 143 link below my profile info on my profile page, see screenshot), the default sorting is confusing. The header shows arrows next to both Name and Last Activity, but it appears to only be sorted by Name.

Suggestion: subscriptions in are most useful where sorted by last activity. The old forum had a great system and the new one is also missing some information that one had. It's also weird to be subscribed to a person. What does that even mean?

Wanted to follow up on this. I happened to have a tab open on my laptop that still has the old site layout. Here's the subscriptions page. I loved this layout. Gave me everything I needed on the page: subscribed threads in order of most recent post, see who posted, see which are unread, and ability to jump to newest unread post.

Finally was able to get logged in, gotta be honest as it stands right now it's a mess. I'm not disabling my ad blocker and when it pops up asking me to do so the option to decline isn't even there. Like others have mentioned before (I haven't read anything in this thread at all) they don't have to disable their ad blocker anywhere else. I'll check back now and then and hopefully in a few weeks the forums are back to the new normal and my issue will be fixed.

Hey Steve, I think you'd said in your thread announcing the new forums (which I guess is still waiting to be transferred over) that this first version would actually be a test forum (Or an open beta) and the final version would go live (or go Gold) at a later time? Is this still the case?

Yup, still the case. I do not have an exact date for that yet but will be pushing for "sooner the better".

Samsung Internet Browser is just plain not working with this new forum. I've tried disabling my adblocker and everything just to see if it'll even load and it doesn't. Which is a problem because Samsung Browser is my regular browser no doubt.

Had the bright idea to try a different browser just now (Firefox Nightly) and it works.

Everyone knows I'm reluctant to change, but I genuinely much preferred the old layout. Everything feels condensed and concealed with the new layout. I like being able to easily see if there's a new post, go to the last page, etc. As it stands now you can't really tell that from the main forum page. edit: guess you can at least see the last posted in a forum on desktop mode vs mobile mode. OK good at least that way yeah. I would get rid of the subforums showing on the main forum overlay look. Way too bulky.

Some of the themes are nice. Would be good to have dark gradient, dark winter etc eventually.

is the forum actually working, I haven't seen any movement in the CFB or Madden forums since this change went live. I'm on safari, can't decide everything is broken for me, or if everyone is seeing, well, nothing.

I have chosen not to respond to threads until additional posts get added from April 9+. Not sure how many others are of that mindset.
