It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Recently, started getting tons of ads on my iPhone, even with ad blockers. My laptop/iPad seem to be OK.

Switched from Responsive 4.0 back to Default 2.0 on my phone and they seem to have gone away. Weird.

I'm using 2.0 also (on desktop) and that seems to be the way to go

Starting today I'm seeing the "please disable your ad blocker" message in the OS forums using the OS 4.0 Responsive skin.

Any way this message can be removed for anyone who is already an OS Supporter, as I have been for a very long time? I have no plans to disable my ad blocker for any website.

Is it only 4.0? Does it happen on 2.0? I've never used an ad blocker so I'm just trying to figure out why it all the sudden started happening.

I started getting it on 4.0 today as well. Switched to 2.0 a little bit ago and haven't seen it yet.

Ya... I wish I knew. I don't see anything obvious in the backend.

Just started happening to me as well today. I to have an ad blocker, but never had an issue here at all. Super weird.

Edit - I've been using the 2.0 theme since I can remember. I have no idea why it was on 4.0 today, but it was and that seems to of been the problem. Like mentioned above, since I changed it back to 2.0 I haven't seen the pop up.

Same here. 4.0 started getting it constantly yesterday. Switched to 2.0 and no issues.

Switching to 2.0 resolved the issue for me as well.

How do you switch to 2.0?

Quickest way is to scroll down to the very bottom of the forum page and there's a bar to select you forum skin, however this option seems to be covered by the banner ad at the bottom

Alternatively, click on your user name at the top right and select 'User CP' from the drop down menu then 'edit options' from the 1st box on the left side then scroll down to the bottom of the page and you should see the option.

That did the trick-I had to post my question using my cell phone which is not at all my preferred method of browsing OS.
