Doing a MM with Real Betis (Liga Adelante) and I'm currently in my second season in which i was able to be promoted automatically after winning the last game and barely making the auto promotion based off GD and needing the team above me to either tie or lose in order for me to go up. Had a lot of fun thus far and I was able to sell Ruben Castro, 34 year old striker who was awesome on the team and kicked 44 goals for the season so I decided to sell him while his stock was high for double his value.

Began the season with 4mil and currently sold a few and signed a few players but I'm dealing with 12.5mil so I'm getting there. Currently tasked to finish mid table in Liga BBVA which I'm sitting mid table which i find realistic as the team isn't quite there yet in becoming dominant. I have some awesome YA players developing including a keeper rated about 63 with 86-93 potential so that's something to look forward to.

Also, just got offered to become the head coach of Paraguay for the WC!

Since this is my first time playing FIFA, I have noooo idea what I'm doing. Lol! Manager Mode looks really fun and deep, though, so I'll keep trying. It'll probably be a lot of trial and error for me. The scouting and transfer stuff has me TOTALLY confused!

Episode 5 is now up. Ship off Jozy, listed Steven Fletcher. And its our first game of the season against West Brom!

I went with the Bray Wanderers. It's pretty amazing how bad the Airtricity League is.

First match vs. Drogedha went....bad. I stayed in the default 4-5-1 formation. Got killed 3-0. Should've been worse.

After that I realized I was not going to be able to hold possession, so I went 5-3-2 counter attacking. I went 2 Ws and 3 Draws in the next 5 matches. Sitting in 7th.

I am in the first season of my MM with Man Utd and Anderson has been collecting dust due to no Europe and an early exit in the Cap One cup (just like real life!) and he was unsettled, so much so he's already signed on with Everton even though he's still under contract for 4 months with me. I thought that was cool as it does happen in real life, but can we do this? Can we pouch the CPU's upcoming free agents? if so, how?

Yes you can. You just have to find a player with less than 6 months on their current contract and over the age of 22, I think. Just go to Sofifa.com and you want to sort people who have a contract that is valid until 2015. And that will give you a list of guys to look at that could be available for free transfer during the 2015 Winter Window.

Yes you can. You just have to find a player with less than 6 months on their current contract and over the age of 22, I think. Just go to Sofifa.com and you want to sort people who have a contract that is valid until 2015. And that will give you a list of guys to look at that could be available for free transfer during the 2015 Winter Window.

Thanks! I had never had this happen in previous FIFA games, was pretty shocked to get an email saying Anderson was leaving for Everton. I actually play them next in my MM I should put him in and see if I can get them to injure him.

I have had it happen and a popular guy for me to do it with last season was Lewandowski with Dortmund.

I bought the financial takeover Level 9 i beleive for my arsenal MM but i got fired shortly after, and so i started a new manager mode and wanted to get it again but i gotta be a level 39 but im a 33. I thought those financial takeovers were only for one season, didn't know they were un redeemable?

You should post this in the catalogue gifting thread. And what it means by once per season is, if you are lvl 39 you can buy either the level 9 one OR the 39 one. Same thing goes for scout a future star.

My bad wasn't aware there is a catalogue thread. But if it means redeemable once per season it should mean that i can buy it again the next season the level 9 one

Started a Man U MM, sold Mata to Bayern for 28 mill euro, deadline day after doing a bunch of negotiating for a good contract sold Van Persie to Madrid FOR the RETURN OF CRISTIANO RONALDO, also gave them 59 mill euro. Also won my first three games of the EPL, 0 goals allowed even though the defense is sorta ****, but i also bought William Carvalho he's a beast.

As head coach of Paraguay, just lost to Venezuela 2-0 after a red card to them (struggle street for me). I need a win against Argentina to qualify for the WC so here's hoping they don't bring their A game.

Just finished the mid year transfer window, picked up a couple of good signings for my barcelona B team
Recalled Denis Suarez at the start of the season from his loan, and sold him this window.
Sold a couple of other players, but gained the following in this window

- Will Hughes for a cheap $5.5mil
- Richairo Zivkovic
- Stendera for some flair
- D.Amartey to solidify the defence a little more
- and Locigno and Wallace to fill the void at RB

Go to scout instructions look for players over 22 and 0-1 year contract and sit back and await the out of contractors pour in. No transfer fee unless you want them now, they will be cheaper as teams want money ASAP before they leave on free. Make sure you have the wage for them next season.
