And to be honest, it caused me to "cheat" to make sure I got that 4th place finish! I was replaying and re-simming matches to make sure I got that 4th spot, because I wanted to keep my Everton career, and the personnel improvements, going on into the future. Finishing 5th should have been an excellent result, but in the FIFA 15 case, I would be fired and faced with starting a new career from scratch. And I assume I'll be facing the same problem in Season 2.

I'm nearing the end of December 2014 in my Norwich City career mode. 9 points ahead of Derby County at the top of the FL Championship. Cameron Jerome has already scored 15 goals in the league and I play on World Class difficulty.

Entering the January transfer window with around 3.5 million pound. Thinking of going for some pre contracts. Even though I have a young goalkeeper in Karius I think ill loan him out next season since goalkeepers don't usually grow until at least 23. I also need a new centre back to replace the aging Turner.

I have two players in the youth academy. One is a technically gifted Spanish RM with 86-94 potential. He was a scout future star but the other one is a physically strong CM from Scotland with 85-94 potential.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

About a third of the way through my second season as Everton and my first season was a relative success.

We finished 4th like the board wanted us too but boy did we make it hard on ourselves. We finished 1 point ahead of Spurs who indecently beat us on the last game of the season (although to be fair I did put out my second team) but we could have easily finished in 3rd as we dropped a load of points by throwing away leads and drawing. Didn't do too bad against the top teams, only Liverpool did the double over us and we beat Man City 2-0 at the Etihad (Too be fair though I did park the bus and hit them on the counter but it was balanced out by the fact that I accidentally put Stanek in the team).

The Europa League went well for us as well and we reached the Semi Finals only to be thrashed 5-2 on aggregate by Bayer Laberkusen. F.A cup and Captial One Cup ended pretty early on against Newcastle and Chelsea respectively.

Lukaku is looking like a monster and he scored 31 goals last season (20 in the BPL). He scored 7 goals in 2 games this season (although to be fair they were against newly promoted Derby and Leeds respectively). Barkley is growing decently as well but the suprise package has been McCarthy who has grown to 82 overall, lead the BPL for assists last season and is being bid for by every team under the sun. Eto'o has also done well despite his age and Howard grew to an 86 overall (but he's gone down 2 ratings already this season and is retiring).

Our Champions league group this season is Barcelona, Zenit and Basel which is quite tough. In our first game away at the Nou Camp we lost 6-2 with Messi scoring all 6! I was pretty angry but after his 5th goal I realised he was just too good and I couldn't stop him (although it was against a weakened team due to a BPL game against Man City literally 3 days later). We then drew with Zenit 2-2 after coming back from 2 behind and Basel beat Barcelona! We then beat Basel convincingly 3-0 which leaves us 2nd in the table behind Barcelona.

I have quite a few good looking players in my Academy with Xavi Rodriguez and Gary Coke looking especially good and I hope to be promoting them in May. Heaton is already rated 69 overall and has grown 2 ratings since signing for us and I hope he can grown into a mid to high 80's rated midfielder.

I started a Manager Mode with Newcastle and this is my first time playing FIFA. I knew the BPL was going to be a challenge but I dont have a win in 10 games, I have been switching between Professional and World Class, I can't seem to stop their scoring.

Go with orions sliders in the slider section of this forum if you havent adjusted sliders yet....Defense this year is challenging so its going to take a bit of patience. Do not just rush them as bad mistakes are costly, stay in front of them and make them go out wide.

You can pretty much still use orions sliders even if you play with assisted/semi assisted controls...But that will help make the game play more realistic

Hey all

I am up to Jan in my first season with Southampton. We are doing very well in the league (challenging for the title) and in the semi-finals of the Mickey Mouse Cup

My biggest concern is James Ward-Prowse. He has 23 appearances (half off the bench, half in starting XI) – an average rating of 6.4 over the season. He hasnot grown at all, yet his physical stats are actually in decline!

What are my options with him? Loan him out? Does this trick only apply in January or in the Summer window also?

Cannot believe how EA have managed to continually get this so wrong.

Small update. Played Carlisle United in the first round of the JPT and beat them 2-1. I scored first and they tied early in the 2nd half but their chances of winning pretty much dried up when one of their strikers was sent off. That'll teach them for being so damn aggressive when I'm in the box.

I got very lucky in my third game against relegated Charlton Athletic. I realized early on that save for someone giving up *** neither of us was going to score. Unfortunately for them they conceded a penalty in the 2nd half and I held on for the win.

Also played my 4th season game against Crawley. While there is little to no variety in the way CPU teams play there is a difference in difficulty as in these 4 games it hasn't been as easy as League 2, which is good. However, this game was an example of my players screwing the pooch. In the 30th minute my keeper deflects a shot back into play. It falls near two of my players, one of them gets it, but the other moron runs into him, knocking it into the path of a CPU attacker who puts it away. Luckily I was awarded a penalty about 10 mins later, which I converted. We traded some very well taken attempts in the 2nd half until about the 60th minute when Juan Carlos Arce gets the ball on a well placed through ball. I sprint into the box with a defender alongside me, body feint to cut inside leaving him behind, and put it into the top corner. At around the 80th the CPU really turns it up trying to equalize but I keep my shape at the back and leave them wanting. We're into stoppage time and I'm practically begging for the whistle to blow when they cross it to just outside the box to an attacker who one-times it. It's rolling on the ground, heading straight for my keeper and I figure he's got this. Nay. Despite actually getting down to block it with his body this ******* lets it roll under him, they score, and the game ends in a draw. Heartbreaking. With that I'm now 2-2-0 with Colchester up next.

In my second season with Lazio on Legendary in Serie A we finished 3rd in 14/15 and went out the cup the Milan in the Q/F only signing was Sokratis but a fair few players left that I had no use for seems Lazio are over stocked with LWF and CM

second season I used the financial takeover as I was given a terrible 10 million Budget after qualifying for the Champions League.Signed Marchiso and De Sciglio because I wanted to keep a strong Italian feel to my squad but my big signing was Cavani after Klose left for Wolfsburg and decided not to retire.

So far in second place behind Juventus, the Champions League group was insane Bayern were running away with it they beat me on their pitch 5-1 but in the last 2 games they lost to PSV 2-1 after a sending off according to the pitch side reporter.

in the final game against me at the olimpico we destroyed them 5-1! no unfair sliders or anything involved it was the best I have ever played from the first minute i set attacking mentality and just went forward at any opportunity taking a 3-0 lead after 20 minutes they never recovered and we finished top of the group after being bottom after 3 games.up next in the KO is Benfica

Cavani changed my whole team from champions league qualifiers to title challengers this was my favourite goal of his so far to seal a 4-2 win in the rome derby just looked so realistic

I don't know what it is with JWP. I played with Southampton in FIFA 14 and this year and he doesn't seem to grow much at all (despite a good POT rating). Definitely try loaning him out in January.

As for the physical stats, did he get injured? I've noticed that even young players that get injured will lose physical stats during that same season.

Im in the summer transfer window of my 3rd season with liverpool and during/after each window (summer or winter) the commentators suggest that my moves have been poor and the players dont agree. I havent made huge moves, but im trying to better the squad and finish higher than 4th.

First year I picked up Jese rodriguez who has been brilliant. I picked up clyne which eventually replaced glen johnson. I grabbed Varane to replace skrtel which I sold before the second season. Also purchased Isco, prospects such as Leita-cdm. (I sold lambert, Balo, enrique)

Second season In january picked up welbeck, marquinhos as backup, yedlin (mainly wanted an american).

Gerrard retired so I have leiva, allen, casemiro, henderson, leita, hojberg at midfield.

I still have sturridge, assaidi, coutinho, sterling, moreno, mignolet (bernd Leno backup) Lovren.

Why am I getting bashed on transfers? First year finished 4th, second year finished 4th. Im 1 win and 1 loss in my first 2 games of 3rd season. I havent won the FA cup nor champs league, so I get the frustration, but my guys play well together. Sturridge won golden boot, Isco, rodriguez and sterling were all near top of assists.

It does also seem like after the transfer window the players do take some time getting used to each other as play seems a bit harder, but then they seem to gel and I start having great games with the lads.

Does anyone else hear that from commentators? Just curious cause Im looking to win the premier, changes need to be made.

Currently in September 2017 with Fulham.

2014-15 - Tottenham (Professional) - 3rd
2015-16 - Tottenham (professional) - sacked while 5th in Prem. Signed by Fulham, finished 2nd in Championship - promoted!
2016-17 - Fulham (World Class) - 11th in Prem

Moving to World Class has changed the game for me. I've gone from being quite indifferent towards playing the AI in FIFA 15 to loving it and getting very realistic results. Even survival won't be a certainty and I love that.

He was sidelined for about 4 weeks, but once he returned to action - his physical stats were the same. They have only just dropped after being playing again for at least a month, maybe more.

I have Arsenal Super League MM going, and my god how real is this Arsenal, community shield i lost Ozil. 4th game of the season I face Man City and Ozil returned, but I lost my main attackers in Welbeck and Sanchez. So sad because they had some amazing chemistry they WERE my offense.

Hello guys! I've loved reading about all the manager modes! I myself had one corrupted which was a real heart break. I'm finally ready to start one again with the completion of the community sliders. I was wondering if there was anyone here that would be willing to gift me the level 33 scout future star? I've tried the catalog gift thread with no luck as everyone wants FUT coins, but I'm strictly a MM guy.
