Re: *The FIFA 15 Manager Mode Thread*

Just started a CM with Sunderland, which after three games in I was "re-assured" that I was the right man for the job. It's such a shame that it still hasn't been fixed. I mean, I would understand where they were coming from about having to reassure me of my job if I would be at the bottom of the table, being I'm supposed to be mid-table.

The only issue with their complaints? I just upset Man U 1-0 and dismantled QPR 3-0 just prior to getting that message from the board. We're one of two teams in the league with 7 pts through three league games (Liverpool leads the league on differential). Come on EA! haha.

So Ibrahimovic has now retired. And if he is still in the EPL, go to the search function. Put position to striker. Nationality Sweden. Age 16-20. league EPL. And search. He should have the “Has potential to be special” remark next to his name. But if you can't find him in the EPL just search without a league. There are some videos on YouTube that you can look at if you are confused with what I am saying.

Yep I know that, was just stating that I haven't had any regens from my youth system come through should have explained myself better! My fault sorry for misunderstanding! With regens I like to only get regens from my personal youth system. This is why I have hanged onto players like Wilson, Janko, Powell etc. They for me showed the most promise. Along with Smalling and Jones I have decided to hold onto. Jones turned out to be a beast at 85 rated and only 24 yrs old. Smalling a OP backup.

I need a suggestion for a new world class CB to replace Kana-Byik. Got him for free on pre-contract and turned out nicely but need someone to replace Godin as he is nearing age 31 now. Suggestions? Also will send pic of first team formation/lineup and also my backup team (which has a very interesting custom formation, first team also custom but less extravagant)

For now I need some sleep it is 12.45am

But I'll leave it with an interesting move smalling pulled off for me 😂😂

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

      Good Job Ea 👍😄😁😝

Am doing Fulham career and would like to sign Oscar in Jan but need to know wages for him and others, I know I can just scout but having a database would be much easier.

          Thanks

No, seeing as the wages change from year to year as players get new contracts it would be impossible to make such a list.

Re: *The FIFA 15 Manager Mode Thread*

Here is my first team custom formation. It's one ST a LF and a RF (wingers are extremely ineffective for me in this game, they seem to get lost), then there is to CM's with Isco's instruction set at get forward and pogba's as balanced. A LWB in Willems and a RWB in Danilo (soon to be Gotetzka who i scouted and is rated 77 at age 21 at Schalke, think he can get to mid 80's if I play him enough). Both the wing backs are set to always overlap. Willems is amazing going forward and has insane stats will leave a picture at end and Danilo is very well rounded. The three CB's consists of the experienced Godin, my captain Phil Jones who has really made a name for himself (85 rated at age 24) and Musacchio who has impressed but im looking for a younger CB with a high overall haven't found my man yet. David de Gea still in goal, haven't had a need to replace him despite him not growing.

Oh forgot to mention my forwards: Cavani is seriously injury prone and im looking for a new man up top (he is also 30 I believe or close to it). He had a 4 month injury, got back played 3 games (scoring in all 3 he is very good) an then injured again for 2 months (only just got back from injury)

Willems amazing stats (4 star skills and weak foot as well!!!)

My second team. Well looking at this formation you must be very confused. I was too. I had no idea what I was doing. But after playing with this formation it turned out quite well! Ibra is playing as ST he is ok, nothing amazing for me but will stick with him until he retires. (5 goals in 15 games with 4 assists, one an amazing back heel). I have Angelo Henriquez (remember him untied fans?) and James Wilson playing at LF and RF. This was the only way I could interpret them and Ibra into my second team. Henriquez since joining at age 20 on 73 overall has grown sensationally. Now 22 years old and rated 82 he had the "has potential to be special" status start of the second season (now in third season). Loan glitch was not used on any of my players. James Wilson has seen some good growth too and is an "exciting prospect" at age 20 rated 74. I see a bright future for these two leading my forward line. Making up LM and RM is Adnan Januzaj and Anwar El-Ghazi. Both are 21 years old and rated 80 and 81 respectively. Januzaj is an "exciting prospect" while El-Ghazi "has potential to be special". Bright future for my future stars. Miralem Pjanic plays as CM and is the only central midfielder in this unique formation. He has amazing free kicks and technical stats scoring 2 free kicks already this season. (5 free kicks has already been scored this season by 4 different players and we are only in October! Ronaldo, Bale, Pjanic and Carrick being the scorers.)

Tip play the ball wide as much as possible as you will be outnumbered centrally. Use Pjanic as your middle man to get the ball wide.

Luke Shaw and Rafael makes up the full backs. Nothing special good back ups but Luke Shaw is still an "exciting prospect" but I doubt he will challenge Willems who had a "has potential to be special" status. Chris Smalling and Kana-Byik who was signed on a pre-contract first season makes up the CB's. Looking for a new CB to replace Kana-Byik he is a bit clunky. Suggestions would be appreciated. Jack Butland is in goals and is 78 rated at age 23 growing very nicely so far (7 ratings so far since signing him).

If you read all of this I congratulate you, you are a legend!

Oh regarding Willems, I signed him first season for 6 million I believe in start of third season I got a 31 million offer for him from PSG with my chief executive saying I could get as much as 75 million for him!!! Amazing business! (Obviously i rejected he is too beast)

In this episode, we have our first real test of season 2 as we host title holders Tottenham Hotspur at the Boleyn. We also take on Charlton Athletic in a Capital One Cup fixture at Upton Park.

^^^ I enjoyed watching that. I'll definitely be tuning in whenever you upload one.

Decided to take a break from my Man U one. In the year 2021 on that, nothing is really changing. Always seems to be Chelsea and me in the finals for English trophies, and Real Madrid and me for the Champions League. Same teams get relegated and promoted. Blah blah blah.

Figured it might be more fun to start one with Southend United in League 2... that way I can properly build a team and make my way to the top of England.

I did however use the financial takeover thing so I could hire a scout. But any transfers will likely be done through loans.

Re: *The FIFA 15 Manager Mode Thread*

Don't have a full update yet, but just had to share this video.

The most famous win of my coaching career, so far. We went into the Emirates and beat Arsenal 3-1 in the FA Cup!!

I was pretty much defensive and counter attacking all game (as you'll see at the end of the video, my only 3 shots were all goals, haha), although I was pleasantly surprised that the possession numbers were not very lopsided.

First goal of the match came in the 34th minute from former Aresenal youth player Kieran Agard. A gaffe by the Arsenal center backs gave Agard the ball right on the doorstep, and he doesn't miss often with an opportunity like that. 1-0 Bristol City

In the 54th minute, Arsenal finally answered back, after multiple close calls. Monreal put a cross in the box, and Danny Welbeck just overpowered my defenders and leveled the game, 1-1.

However, in the 86th minute, Debuchy made an errant pass, and with a couple well placed passes, who else but Kieran Agard was in all alone on Szcezny. He put it in off the post and I was going crazy! 2-1 Bristol City.

I immediately went into Park The Bus mode, haha. Arsenal had a couple more close calls from crossing the ball in the box, but deep into stoppage time, I was able to get possession. I made a few passes and found an opening for Agard once again. Then, just before time expired, Agard launched a cross into the box, finished by Marlon Pack, to rub salt in the wound. 3-1 Bristol City!

It was an awesome game, but it also gave me a little taste of what I'll be seeing if I get promoted this year. It was not easy. Haha

LONDON – A rainy night in North London couldn’t hold off the comeback from Arsenal in their 2nd Champions League fixture against Borussia Dortmund. Ciro Immobile opened the scoring for Dortmund in the 40th minute with a header on a corner kick, to give them a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. Theo Walcott was tackled in the box in early in the 2nd half with some aggressive defense from BVB, allowing Santi Cazorla to connect on a penalty, knotting the game at 1-1. Arsenal would go on to earn corner in the 85th minute, and a freshly subbed in Mesut Özil would send the kick into the middle of the box to find his 6’6 German International teammate Per Mertesacker, as he smashed a header past keeper Roman Weidenfeller to give Arsenal a 2-1 lead, which they would not relinquish. Arsenal and Galatasaray now sit tied atop Group D, with 4 points each through the opening 2 fixtures.

Re: *The FIFA 15 Manager Mode Thread*

So is anyone else sort of frustrated with the ability to apply for other jobs in manager mode?

Im about to finish up my 3rd year as Newcastle's manager. I won the EPL my second year but this third year its looking like I'm gonna finish 2nd to Chelsea, and I was eliminated by Valencia in the quarters of the Champions League (after eliminating Real Madrid in the round of 16 though!) .. so I basically feel like my time with the team has come to an end and Im sort of looking for a fresher challenge in another league.

However, so far every team I'm suggested to "apply" too has turned me down. What gives? Is it because I only have 1 trophy to my name? I just think its a little ridiculous that a manager who the EPL with Newcastle is getting turned down by clubs like Napoli (for example), who are 6th in their league.

Does the time of year have anything to do with it? I think I remember being offered the job for Monaco at the end of my 2nd season, although I turned it down. I'm currently at the end of April in my year, so I sort of want to finalize a move already.

Has anyone else experienced problems like this?
