I have two questions for you:

1. With custom tactics, it is possible to improve the CPU's AI in defense? Maybe you know the biggest problem with 15 is that you can dribble easily past defenders and create a chance, which is very annoying and ruins the game for me.

2. If your answer is yes then how should I do it? I have read your instructions, but I don't understand the method of it. I did the following: I went to Edit teams, I choose Manutd for example where I edit their default tactics. I don't know if I did it right or not, but I feel wrong somehow.

It's possible to change how the AI defense plays, but maybe not possible to "improve" it. Pressure applies to how far up the pitch you'll be pressured. Aggression more applies to how much you'll be pressured throughout the entire field. It's supposed to cause more aggressive tackles, but I don't think it does. As for width, that determines how compact the defense will play. The more compact, the more they'll move to the ball as a group.

In general, the more compact the AI defense, the harder they are to break down, which could be taken as them being improved.

Im in the process of starting to change team tactics in the BPL when i end my current Career mode season with Chelsea.

One thing that caught my attention in these tactics is the low shooting numbers and speed. I believe all teams should be set to 67+ shooting (67 is when the "lots" shooting setting statrts, since the CPU teams don´t shoot enough).

About the speed, i think is great on good teams that maintain possession, but teams that play long ball need to be set higher in the speed slider so they actually counter-attack quickly.

Another thing i noticed is some formations play better than others. For example, a CPU team with a tight 4-4-2 with a 1 cdm, 2 cm, 1 amf usually are easy to beat, because they seem to don´t care about the sides. The best games i got was against the 4-4-3 with 1 cdm and 2 cm and the variation with 2 cdm and 1 amf. Also, the 4-4-2 wide (1 cdm, 1 lmf, 1 rmf, 1 amf) played really well too. Maybe the formations also have something to give us in terms of gameplay against the cpu.

One other thing you may want to consider is reducing the defensive pressure value for team that may routinely sit deep but up the aggression so they do slide and challenge more in the final third. I have had the computer play a few games of Empoli v Juve, and with pressure 30 and aggression 70 which was suggested by another user, Empoli sat deep but tried to keep Juve from pulling the trigger when getting in range. I switched later to pressure 60 and they tried chasing the Juve players around mid-field much more. You may be able to get a good mix of game play in this manner too. I had moved Empoli up to 70 shooting and they did take several shots from the top of the box.

I've been able to see a difference in the way they play. It's nothing crazy, but there's definitely an improvement. Things aren't as wide open and hectic, I see back passes and I see them switch the field at times. I'm using these with the community sliders, so I could be wrong about other slider settings, but with the community sliders and these tactics this game is much more enjoyable. Quality work by Krebs as usual.

Hello - I have done this (adjust the CPU teams' custom tactics) for the past two (three?) versions of FIFA - and I wanted to know if I should plan on doing this again for FIFA15?

I have really enjoyed playing the previous FIFAs with this CTT adjustment. I was curious if the switch from FIFA14 to FIFA15, or the switch from X360 to XBoxOne has any effect on the topic of this thread?

So - should I redo the team tactics for a variety of leagues?

Is it worth it?

I am trying to use these Fifa 15 Realistic Custom Team Tactics but I cant seem to get them to hold.

In fifa14 you just went into tactics, saved your changes as a custom tactic and set it as the default , with the option to set 4 other in game tactics via the d-pad

In fifa15 I have gone into the edit teams screen, selected tactics but it seems to only give you the option to set tactics for the 4 dpad options and not set one as default as you previously could.

So whilst for the team I am going to use I am all set but I cant set the custom tactics for the other 19 teams. When I set arsenal's tactics and move on to aston villa ..the default is now the last custom tactics i set i.e. arsenal and so it goes

I am sry this is so long .. I dont know if you cant identify what I am doing wrong or give me a step by step guide on how to get these installed on my xbox 360 fifa 15 version

Has anyone taken a stab at figuring out tactics for MLS teams? I'm just getting familiar with the league so I'm not sure who plays fast, slow, long ball, short technical, etc...

They don't work this year anything like that have in past years, so it's essentially pointless to input them.

Krebstar you modify the default tactics for cpu or use personal tactics? I try to modify the fefault tactics but is impossibile.

I explain, please, how to assign custom tactics teams cpu so that remain when I play against? the information is written to change tactics by default, but when I go above can not be changed please help
