My issue with sliders is and always will be the fact that there are "unforeseen consequences" in the way the game plays. Sometimes that's just collateral damage that comes with making a FIFA iteration playable, but this year the game is absolutely fantastic on default sliders (on both Pro and WC, although Pro is too easy and WC is a bit unforgiving).

The only things i'm noticing that i'm doing differently are playing smarter defense (it's basically a battle to keep your defenders from going walkabout constantly...the CPU moves them and you have to select them and move them back) and moving the ball with a different mentality than in years past. More flow, more picking out runs, less "blow past every defender and run down the wing" stuff.

I think the biggest realization is that i was a pace abuser. FIFA 15 trained me to be. Once I broke the habit i've found a fantastic game that isn't "speed or nothing". It's changed my transfer policy and the way I play.
This makes sense. I too noticed that I had become a sprint speed player. It just kinda was how you had to play 15.

I have been testing tactics and stuff, seeing what my guys do depending what instruction I give them.. Doing this in kickoff I took United, not a fan, just wanted to play with someone different. Juan Matta is actually awesome now. In 15 I could not use him because his pace was so poor.

But yes World Class is growing on me too.. I am adapting. Hopefully I will play without sliders eventually... Currently am playing World Class on slow and with only Passing error and Shot error bumped to 53 for the CPU all else untouched. Though I may lower injury severity for me just to keep my stars more... Not sim I know but I hate my key players being out for half a season.

        Re: World Class/Professional

Last night I switched from world class to professional. I've been using the community sliders and can compete and win games but I hate playing the game. I get too frustrated with my teammates doing absolutely nothing. Now I'm still using the community sliders except adjusting some things to make the CPU tougher. So far I've given the CPU a +1 in speed and agility with a 70 first touch error instead of 85. I played 2 games last night and tied both of them but actually enjoyed playing so I'm going to keep tweaking.

I´m actually doing the same thing, but tuning my own set of sliders, because the thig that kills me the most is the high passing %. If we do nothing about it, most games end with around 88%, even with weaker teams.
Anyway, I recommend you all to use 15 for goalkeepers, based on OP community sliders. I can´t just miss it as it makes the GK´s so much more realistic! They won´t defend worse, instead, they stop catching every single shot like they do in default sliders. Absolutely necessary.

Are you suggesting we use 15 for goalkeepers on Pro level?

Exactly. This morning I played a full tournament with this setting and gk's were Great. No cheap goals at all. They just stop catching those stronger shots, mostly tiping them away.

Ok and do you play manual or assisted?

Semi assisted and manual lol. Semi passing and shooting, assisted through ball and manual long ball. Legacy defending by the way.

Okey dokey. I am asking mainly because I am making the switch from WC to Pro this evening. On WC I had goalkeepers at 15, which seemed roughly about right- but having them at 15 on Pro level would mean it's a LOT easier to score wouldn't it?

It's mentioned elsewhere that Legendary actually plays better than World Class. I haven't played enough to know for sure, but I've bumped up from WC to Legendary for my last half dozen matches and I've actually won more games while seeing more realistic play from the CPU (probably cause they're more aggressive?).

There might be something to be said for the theory that when playing against Legendary, you're forced to play super smart and cautious, which actually in the end helps you do better.

I dunno what or why but so far I'm enjoying Legendary more than WC. I wonder if this will stay the same when I start my CM. In any case, difficulty levels this year are just "off" and I recommend others give Legendary a try.

OK thanks, may turn the sliders for those down a bit then!

Oh I did play legendary, and on those decisive matches trust me, cpu will rape you with tikitaka and First time shots. I started to see it many times and I'm simply bored with it.

I'd like to hear feedback from those who are using goalkeepers at 15 on PRO. Does it look ok? I thought I was pushing it with 42 15 sounds a bit too low.

I played about 6 or 7 matches today with them, and never felt like they were bad. Not even close. It doesn´t mean though, we wont see a bad mistake here and there, but that´s part of the programing. Most likely, you´ll see mistakes at the same rate in PRO, WC or Legendary. Probably you´re going to see more mistakes in weaker GK´s, but until now I haven´t seen any that made me regreat this option. In fact, I´m quite happy to use it, more then the default slider value. Still, on Pro, 42 is way too high. I would recomend droping them at least to 30, but you´ll only see it good at 15 if you try them for a couple matches.
