Re: World Class/Professional
I played about 6 or 7 matches today with them, and never felt like they were bad. Not even close. It doesn´t mean though, we wont see a bad mistake here and there, but that´s part of the programing. Most likely, you´ll see mistakes at the same rate in PRO, WC or Legendary. Probably you´re going to see more mistakes in weaker GK´s, but until now I haven´t seen any that made me regreat this option. In fact, I´m quite happy to use it, more then the default slider value. Still, on Pro, 42 is way too high. I would recomend droping them at least to 30, but you´ll only see it good at 15 if you try them for a couple matches.Comment

Re: World Class/Professional
No. Usually i shoot around 15 shots, about 8 on target, and score an average of maybe 1.5 goals a game... Everything looks normal. Its how the game is coded, even with sliders, there's some kind of. balance.Comment

Re: World Class/Professional
The good goalies catch some crazy stuff still but it doesn't feel bad. I get a lot of 1-2 goal games, but it's not like I don't get the 4-5 goal games here and there. Based on what xicpanad says, I'm gonna drop some, and see how it goes.Last edited by hedache; 09-30-2015, 01:57 PM.PS4: hedache0

Re: World Class/Professional
To add to my scores I posted:
W 4-2 @ Yeovil Town
Played mostly subs, but my attack was just too much vs their players. I easily pushed guys off the ball and their passing was awful. Two goals they scored were a result of awful defense on my part and just taking them lightly.
W 2-0 @ Newcastle
Snuck my first header in to start the second half. Second goal came in like the 89th minute while their back four were exposed due to having to move further up the pitch.
L 3-1 to Stoke City
I had a solid PK goal in the 5'. Thought I had the game in the bag just because early luck, but about 6 minutes later Shaqiri connected on a free kick right outside the box. The momentum of the game shifted. I had a horrible turnover at midfield and then played the outlet pass sloppy instead of trying to help out my keeper. Third goal for Stoke came by Shaqiri on some great build up play.
I'd like to see a game with the GK at 15 but I'm scared it'd make goals easier to come by. I seem to be able to score from multiple ways. They make solid stops at times but I've also slid it past them for some easy ones. Sliders seem to be more sensitive than previous titles. I tried first touch at 55 or 60 and the CPU handling was awful it killed their build up immensely.5Comment

Re: World Class/Professional
Please notice that I use my set of sliders an one of the most important thing is the discrepancy in Acceleration, 49/50 for Human/CPU. This alone makes me use my players technique instead of pace. It´s not unbalanced, the default is. This way I can´t sprint past defence all the time, and have to build my oportunities. The rest is about pass error, pass speed etc, but this Acc is essential for me. 55 for marking is also important because very rarely I have easy clear oportunities, so probably I might not have the same type of shots on target then you guys have. I do have plenty of headers, long shots, first time shots from crosses, etc, and the GK´s have been in great form against me, sometimes even making double saves.
If you guys want to test it without messing your career mode, create a custom tournament and play a couple games. Kick off mode doesn´t count because there´s no need for the CPU to win the match, or at least not as in a tournament/career mode.Comment

Re: World Class/Professional
I've been playing full manual/Professional for years now, it seems to be the sweet spot for me. Maybe a few slider tweaks here and there (Slow is always a must!), but for the most part Manual/Pro works great for me out of the box.www.heyimbill.com | sports poster art and other cool stuffComment

Re: World Class/Professional
You and I are already friends on PSN but I don't think we've played yet. It sounds like we could have some evenly matched fun online games. We should try meeting up one of these days.PS4: hedache0

Re: World Class/Professional
So, oddly I was all about PRO but just discovered thanks to Matt explaining it... That if I bump up CPU Pass error they do not miss tiki taka passes but attempt harder passes thus opening up their play.
Also, I was lieterally having the CPU shoot on me like three times a game. Bump up their shot error and they take more risky shots and shoot more.
This is brilliant instead of pass error and shot error makng them miss easy ones... They attempt harder ones. These two slider adjustments and World Class is awesome for me.. They shoot a lot and pass long balls.
I saw absolutely zero difference in the tactics or decision making by the CPU.
The end result was just that I conceded zero goals when playing with the high CPU pass error. This is on Legendary. They still were able to retain possession quite well, still passed around in their own half too much, too easily. They just couldn't make any killer passes and most of their attacks came to nothing.
As far as I can tell the pass slider affects one thing and one thing only: pass error.Comment

Re: World Class/Professional
I dunno. I tried this today a whole bunch, testing the same matchups with everything default and everything default but pass error set to 60 or 65 and the only difference I noticed - wait for it- was the CPU passes had more error.

IDK back to thinking PRO just plays more realistic but is kinda getting too easy. Not sure what the sollution is. As on World Class I just see too much tiki taka and on Pro I can win too many games.Comment

Re: World Class/Professional
about sliders, I've always felt they are subjective and will vary greatly from person to person. The way I see it is if I'm happy with how the games play out and the outcomes are a bit varied, that's all that matters to me. The sliders I use can be very different than the next guy's or whatever is on this forum or other forums. That being said, I'm still loving boosted Pro.Comment

Re: World Class/Professional
whenever i play World class it doesn't matter what team i use, i'm usually outshot 10 - 18 (the biggest outlier was some damn League 2 team getting 26 shots) to 1 - 3. World class is bull**** for me. I'm never playing it again.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: World Class/Professional
Yes, it does. Though it affects it less, it still has impact in the match. Usually, at the 75' mark I have to sub some players, specially if I'm behind and need to run for a goal. Last year ws worse, you could finish the matches with all players full of stamina, not this year.Comment
