Patch 1.05 = Crap

This game was playing very well for the first few months but now it feels like it has yet again been tailored to more of an arcade feel and towards the online community. Defense has been dumbed down, fouls have been drastically reduced, CPU doesn't build up plays and the game as a whole just feels like it's been sped up. I was enjoying this game, minus the lack of career mode improvements and fixes, but I have quickly lost interest as the game progressed between all these patches. It just feels like EA released the game with the idea of having more of a sim feeling but knew they would patch it towards the online community later. Thoughts?

Wait, a patch came out today?

Crap...

If so, I was one of the ones who didn't like the passing system, the first touches and what another user called the "off-ball" techniques, but I started applying some of the advice they gave me and I won 6 straight games.

I really thought I was beginning to hit a corner, but now it looks like I'll have to start over again.

Same here...

Up to patch 1.04 Fifa16 was the best i've played in more than 30 years of video soccer, but 1.05 ruined the whole (sim) feeling for me.

What makes me really angry is, that you can't go back on consoles.

@EA: please make it happen to have a user defined choice here
It's the same **** like NHL with it's tuner updates...

As i'm an offline player only, i do not need the patch in terms of online requirements

...no, because i've my own set of working sliders with a great enviroment, which is now gone with a simple patch AND - that's the point - any backup options.

This is a total mess and a gamebreaker (with every patch).
Why? This has to be stopped...

I agree.
The cumulative patch was a bad choice by EA.
Personally, i would stay with 1.01, the best one for me.

Wait, you can't role back to previous patch for console? That suck. I was thinking of saving my profile on a USB and then delete and reinstall the game again. Think that might work?

The CPU is just lethal after the update. Just pinpoint shooting by the CPU, my keeper in PES are saving more shots than my keepers post update.

Yeah, the CPU is even more overpowered than the last patch. I didn't even know it was possible.

Now I understand the frustration people are having with this patch. Played for 2 hours both world class and legendary and the game is now unplayable. This patch is the worse thus far. For me. Don't even know where to start from so am giving the game a break for a few days.

Holy crap. what did they do? Over the past couple of days I played some games with the patch and all my players feel like they weigh a ton. It's like they neutered agility even more. I like the gameplay the Set M sliders gives but player movement feels absolutely terrible.

I think it plays just fine. I'm playing on pro default, and it feels like legendary with sliders.
