nah default has one touch weak foot long range blasting goals by the CPU in tight crowds even on pro. No sliders have fixed anything for me. I haven't touched FIFA since days after the patch came out.

I played one game in career mode last night, seems like CPU got better and is harder for me to score now, but overall the feeling ain't that bad like you guys mentioned, let me play a few more and update you guys here!

Now I understand the frustration people are having with this patch. Played for 2 hours both world class and legendary and the game is now unplayable. This patch is the worse thus far. For me. Don't even know where to start from so am giving the game a break for a few days.

I've been playing since FIFA94.

I'm now done. Retired.

Year after year, it's the same old stuff. I thought it was fixed at release time, but it's back again. The game may be fun for you guys playing online, but it sure isn't offline

You guys need to check if you're playing the 16 version or the 15. You know if it says 15 it's released on 2014...
I'm exclusively playing offline and since release I'm having a blast. In fact I decided yesterday to play a FA Tournament with Leicester. First game at home against Chelsea. I'm down 1-3 until 77min and manage to draw 3-3 with Chelsea panicking in defense the last 10 minutes. Look at the stats:
Shots 15-19
Possession 44%-56%
Fouls 7-8
Pass Accuracy 77%-84%

Yeah..the game is crap...

They CPU is better in attack are more challenging which is great. My big gripe is player movement. I play on World Class & Legendary and one of the things the game does to increase difficulty is lower your ability to move both on and off the ball. It's like all player movement has a delay to it and they're less agile than comparably rated CPU players.

Cpu just passed 95% against me. The cpu plays flawless while my ai teammates play like afraid kittens running around the field. Finished with this game! Thanks EA for not giving a crap with anything but FUT.

That's great you are having a fun time.

You know how I know this game is still churning out the same crap? There's a 583 page thread trying to fix all the stuff that users have to attempt to fix EVERY SINGLE YEAR:

I consider myself very picky at details in 2K and this is just how I am as a person, after playing 3 games last night, I found out that it is really a good patch, the CPU is a lot more aggressive in winning the game now, and I find it fun to play like that, btw I am an offline player so for real, the game is fine for me after the latest patch!

I hate that this exists as a way to make the game more difficult. Only fifa seems to do this.

Imagine the torrent of hatred if on All Madden you didnt pass when you pressed the pass button. Instead there was more delay as you went up in skill like fifa does.
So in madden you take a sack or throw an int because of the input delay. They would be storming tiburon with pitchforks!

This game was playing very well for the first few months but now it feels like it has yet again been tailored to more of an arcade feel and towards the online community. Defense has been dumbed down, fouls have been drastically reduced, CPU doesn't build up plays and the game as a whole just feels like it's been sped up. I was enjoying this game, minus the lack of career mode improvements and fixes, but I have quickly lost interest as the game progressed between all these patches. It just feels like EA released the game with the idea of having more of a sim feeling but knew they would patch it towards the online community later. Thoughts?

The consensus from the sim community is that patch 4 ruined the game and then patch 5 dealt the final killing blow. Patch 4 changed the dribbling movement to arcade where you can just knife through a defense. EA needs to give us an option to roll back to patch 1.03 as that was the best version of this game. Thankfully I disconnected my internet and I am still playing on 1.03....

If anything, 1.05 has merely tucked in the outside backs too close to the center backs.

I'm not sure what other issues there are, but it's manageable, and feels nothing like FIFA 15 did at this time last year.

Matt, What about the below sounds manageable? People are asking for refunds! Why does everybody below agree, but not you?

My info comes from the guys at Fifasoccerblog and winningelevenblog- Jose Aguirre, Nestor V, Bryan at WENB, Charles Adams -- and Orion talks with them ... they do a podcast together here that talks about the patch. http://www.footy-united.com/podcasts/ They say that they changed the dribbling to be arcade, knifing through a defense with ease. These are hardcore sim guys and old pes guys -- listen if you want. Charles Adams went so far as to say Fifa 16 is now garbage and he is requesting a refund from EA for drastically changing the original product. Here is Orion talking about them:

They're all good dudes and I talk with most of them pretty regularly on twitter or whatever, and honestly I have to agree with them. EA has without a doubt caved to the UT kiddies, as they always do, all we can do is make the best of it and do what we can to salvage what's left.
