I've been playing with Liverpool in my career mode this year. I'm playing on World Class with the community sliders. It's been awesome. I won the preseason Invitational Cup in South Korea against Barcelona in a nail biter on penalties, 2-2 (4-2 on penalties). Barca was up 2-0 and started subbing in more defensive players to hold the lead. This cost them when penalties came around. They missed two of them. I came back and tied the game on an 86th minute goal from Sturridge and then won on PKs.

The league games have just started and I've played the first game at Arsenal. I won 2-1 even after losing one of my CB, Lovren, on a stupid red card in the 45th minute. Next game is against Man City, I believe.

I made a few moves so far. The biggest was bringing in Harry Kane. I had little interest in him but Man United was close to signing him and I couldn't let that happen. (They are also trying to sign Luis Suarez.) I got him for a pretty reasonable $54,000,000 considering Mesut Ozil was bought by Bayern for $96,000,000. Plus, just like constantly in real life, Sturridge is already injured. I could of just used Flamino but I like him better as a CAM. I also signed winger Balde Keita Diao from Lazio and 17 year old GK Alban Lafont as purely a future possible GK option. I brought in Balde Keita Diao as a replacement, and upgrade, over Divock Origi who I sold to Hamburg. Lucas Leiva was also sold. Kane, Diao and Font is a pretty big haul. Oh and I signed a 17 year old GK that my youth scout found who came out as a 73 overall right off the bat. (And not from a "future star" catalogue buy.)

I'm looking in to bringing in another young RB. Other that that I love my team. Once Sturridge and Emre Can come back (Can broke his ankle in the preseason) my team will be hard to beat.

Just started out my career mode with Gent in Belgium. After seven games im first in the league, been a close one here and there but Moses Simon up top has been golden for me so far.

Havent sold off a single player so far, i like the mix of the team as it is atm. Brought in Christian Cuevas as LB since we dident have a proper one. So far so good with him, love the pace.

Finished my first season yesterday with the Spurs, some thoughts:

+ playing the AI is a lot more fun than in earlier FIFAs (world-class with Semi-Sliders and Pass Error turned up a few notches)

+ Champions League presentation is really nice. Even though it's not the original it really feels like special games. Nice that they put some work into it

+ Cup / League winning celebration was so much better. Had a really intense battle with Real Madrid in the CL Final and won 3:2 after 120min. One of the best FIFA game's I've ever had and the ceremy afterwards was so much better than in previous versions. It's just a minor improvement but it adds so much atmosphere

+ Saw some nice transfers in the first winter window and now I'm halfway through the summer window of the 2nd season and the transfers are pretty realistic so far.

+ Had some really nice "storylines" throughout the season. City and Leicester had an awful season. Crystal Palace finished 4th. It was nice to see some variation and some great teams lacking success and some small teams doing better than expected. Also in the Euro League / Champions League.

- AI is not playing their best players. The rotation system is still pretty ****ed up. I totally understand that they have to rest some players etc. but I don't understand why Pogba and Zlatan only played half their games (they weren't injured) or why Liverpool benched 8-9 players of their first squad and replaced them by mediocre players now at the beginning of my second season.
A huge disappointment. The transfers so far seemed realistic and somehow matched the teams needs but it seems like the AI is not going for playing the best 11 but just sticks to the standard formation and puts in players that are the best on that positon. In case of Liverpool some 67-rated random CDM instead of all these great CM players they have on their roster.

- Somehow it's still easier to win against really good teams than to win against average teams.
I finished 4th in the league, won most games against the big 4-5 teams of the league, but struggled a lot with smaller teams.
I also won the CL and beat Bayern, Dortmund and Real Madrid on my way to the cup, whilst in the league I was on a big loosing streak against Stoke, Sunderland, Burnley and so on....

Nonetheless. I've never had this much fun with a FIFA career mode so far even though there is still so much potential to improve the mode.
But the gameplay is just a lot better than in previous years and so far (at least in my savegame) the AI hasn't completely taken out all realism with stupid transfers.

I've decided to start with West Ham this year and I've made some pretty good decisions in my opinion so far . I lay 6th on the log and lay 1st in my Europa group .

So far, I kept Payet , and I'll only be keeping him for this season as in sure offers will pour in, in the next transfer window . With that said, I've had my eye on Memphis . He seems to be getting no game time and his form is poor . I could get him for less than 20M if I try .

I've moved Antonio to RB , and with the purchase of Bellerin, I've moved Bellerin to RM while working on his dribbling and shooting, and playing in a 4-1-2-1-2, I'm playing Ayew as my holding midfielder . The position changes seem to be working out .

I begun as a West Ham manager during the summer, but had the transfer window closed for the first summer for a more realistic gaming experience.

We've now moved forward to the transfer window in January. And here's what's gone down so far.

We are currently sitting 8th on the league table, but have very good chances of making it to the top 4 as the competition is very tight this year. It's clear that we're in a desperate need of a striker, as we don't have any leading man up front, so far our best striker has been Calleri with 4 goals and 1 assist so far this season.

Transfers

- Adrian started feeling very unsettled despite of starting every game and wanted to move. Hull City offered 10 millions for his services, but I thought the price was a bit too low and counter-offered them with a 12,5 million deal, which both Hull City and Adrian accepted.

- Obviously we were in need of a new goalkeeper and considered Horn, Areola, Lafont, Scuffet, Kapino and Pickford. I chose to go ahead and make an offer for the promising 20 year old Italian goalkeeper, Simone Scuffet, whom I had been scouting for a while now. I made an offer of 6 million pounds, but Udinese wanted 9 million for him, which I accepted. Simone Scuffet then accepted the contract.

- Now I started considering that our midfield would require some young rising talent and turned my eyes on Corentin Tolisso, a player I had been scouting for quite a long time. Lyon valued him at 20 million pounds, but I managed to "steal" him for just 16 million and Tolisso was more than happy to accept the contract. We're definitely looking forward to him becoming the number one man at our midfield, despite of his young age.

- Not only did we steal Tolisso from Lyon, but made a whopping 43 million offer for Alexandre Lacazette, to finally cover our striking options. Lyon then accepted this offer and Lacazette noticed the potential in me as a manager and was confident I would be able to lift West Ham to Champions League and accepted the contract.

- We then considered strenghtening our right back position and scouted Dominic Iorfa, the young tall English man from Wolves. Wolves only valued him at 2,9 millions, but I saw the potential in him and thought he would be a great fit to my style of play and went on to offer 2,8 millions for him. Wolves accepted my bid and Iorfa was happy to join West Ham.

- And last, but not least I thought a versatile centre back was needed, a player who could also, if needed, hop in the midfield and turned my eyes on Niklas Stark. He's young, developing, but already decent. Hertha Berlin accepted my 7 million bid for this youngster, which made me and Stark happy.

- I also had to consider selling some of our own players due to not fitting to my style of play. So we went on to sell Andy Carrol to Inter for 9,5 million pounds and Diafra Sakho to Mainz for 6 million pounds. During the final hours of the transfer window Borussia Dortmund sold Aubameyang to Chelsea and were looking for an replacement, they then offered 13,5 millions for Jonathan Calleri, which I thought was a decent offer as I was no longer able to give Calleri as much game time as he deserves with Lacazette up front. I accepted the offer and Calleri was happy to move to BvB.

Our current roster is as follows:

Defense: Winston Reid, Angelo Ogbonna, Niklas Stark, Håvard Nordtveit, Reece Oxford, Aaron Cresswell, Arthur Masuaku, Dominic Iorfa & Sam Byram.

Midfield: Mark Noble (c), Cheikou Kouyate, Pedro Obiang, Corentin Tolisso, Dimitri Payet, Manuel Lanzini, Michail Antonio,

Attackers: Sofiane Feghouli, Alexandre Lacazette, Andre Ayew

Goalkeepers: Simone Scuffet, Darren Randolph

Now, these are the main squad, the rest are playing at reserves. I also have no plan on buying Zaza or Töre, so they will play with the reserves until their loan spell runs out.

No - and because of some screw-up on EA Sports' part it wasn't a Championship logo to start with. It's a League Two one!

Just started one with Norwich and bring them back to the EPL. Love the gameplay but as others mentioned I see a lot of the good players getting rested a lot. In the first transfer window I want to try and sign Marcus Rashford!

I've been playing with Hartlepool united and I've just discovered 2 things.
1) feature congestion. I've to play the checkatrade cup and FA cup within 24 hours of each other. This is just crazy. Nowhere this is done.
2) I've 2 strikers that were on short loan with my team at the start of the season (Heardsman and Fewster). Both have scored between them 19 goals for my team during the first half of the season. So I decided to buy both players during the January transfer windows. After successfully buying both, the goals they have scored for me before i bought them was just removed. Rather they just became new signings playing for me for the first time. So the top scorer chat doesn't include these guys. I don't think I'll be getting the next FIFA unless they fix cm mode. I don't play online and don't think I'll.

Career mode first season august transfers are flippin balls! Man Utd buy Harry Kane for 52 million and Griezmann for 94 million!!!! And they already have news about real life purchases of Pogba and Ibrahimovic....what the hell would they spend that money for two more strikers? Lost my appetite fo the whole season though i was able to load back one game and after that ManU dropped interest for Griezmann. I have noticed that if u load and simulate transfer days a few times over you get different transfers evert single time so its like completely random. There should be some AI for team needs

Teams like Man U and Bayern Munich starts with well over $100 million in funds, suppose the CPU takes advantage of that with big players.

I decided on a English Championship side that has a stadium in game, and a american on roster: Newcastle United
I play with summer transfers off for start.
Played 1st match against ECL side Fulham to a 1-1 draw. They scored early on from a set piece, then I drew a penalty late in 2nd half to tie it up.
Then I played 1st Cup match against Coventry City, where it was total domination, ended up 7-3. It felt like I was playing a lower league team, as I had my best players in starting 11. Gale with 5 goals. Was a crazy game, never ha a game like that before, will see if that continues, maybe put level up, if to easy. But my ECL match was not easy.

Good choice. Newcastle is always one of my favs to use due to having a sweet stadium, St James' Park, and nice kits. Fun team to rebuild.

I simulated 1<sup>st</sup> 2 seasons to build up my youth academy a bit, and also wanted to see how some of the players increased/decreased. Wanted to fulfill my goal of increasing 10 youth academy players by 10 OVR by the end of year 3, which I did in the last week of year 2 actually. It was cool doing that but now I'm ready to get playing. I just played the pre-season and Spanish Super Cup and now gonna start the real season soon.

I created Alex Hunter with the same attributes that I finished "the Journey" on. Changed Roberto to a RB (and bumped a few of his attributes) before starting career mode as well. Also it's funny the Youth player RW is from Argentina, is also left footed, has potential to be special, and about the same size as Messi basically 5'7''. LOL maybe Messi 2.0.

The other 7 youth players are either already on loan or will (hopefully) be loaned by end of August. I also have 2 or 3 more in the academy right now.

I have a career going with NYCFC in MLS. In my last game against the Montreal Impact, we managed to secure a 2-0 lead at the half on some pretty sweet goals. At the 72nd minute, our defense fell apart and they knocked in an easy goal to close the gap to one. For the rest of the 90 minutes they hit us with a brutal attack. They went all out. When I saw there was 5 minutes of extra time, I was like, "OH NO!" Lol. Thankfully we were able to survive and get out of there with a win.

That was huge for us because it moved us to 2-3-4. We're in 9th place, but not terribly far off from the front of the pack. Hopefully I can string together some wins and keep this thing moving. Currently playing with OS Set #3/World Class. After losing a couple where the CPU was able to score late on us, it felt good to keep it together this time. These games are so intense!

When the transfer market opens, I plan on picking up my guy Lee Dong Gook from the K League. I'm also eyeing a couple of more.

So, are we STILL not able to change a player from a CAM or CDM to a CM?! That was screwed up last year. It was fine in FIFA 15. If it's not in this upcoming patch, it really hurts my roster editing.
