OS Community is looking for values for their upcoming set to patch 1.09. Do not doubt they find a set that is playable, but as always with EA and their FIFA series it's a matter of choice and not least off-election. The problem of discontinuation is the consequences it has.

The tragic death of Astori gives such a dilemma. EA obviously removes him through updates, he has already been removed if they have the least respect. But what about us who opt out of updates ?. Our opportunity is free Agents but for me it is a last resort and not very respectful. Alternative update games latest version and use EA's latest team formations and play and delete all the work you've used and use on Custom Settings?!.

What is the point with that ?. Well dear EA users should choose which updates they choose and, in particular, have the option to select and deselect a player. But that's your problem, releasing the power to the user. You do not understand to create a chemistry between you and your user, but what's the most shocking you do not need it, and it says more about your user than you.

Do you notice a difference in the way the AI behaves and the way the human team behaves? I'm sure there is a bit of difference but does this breathe some life into playing against the AI? you seem to have put in a lot of effort here

Hey there

The short version - I've yet played too little with PI to give a form of judgment. As you are about, spending (much too much) of my expensive spare time on creating them.

The long version - I'm on patch 1.08 and enjoying it to me the best since the game was released, so I'm careful to judge whether it's PI or Sliders set and patch 1.08 that makes it entertaining. I'm about to finish the Italian Series A PI, and when it's done I will test the PI PL, Championship, La Liga and Series A in the depths.This is EA last chance for me, not that I do not want to play it, but to create. If, like CTT, it's like giving food to a starvation by feeding him with candyfloss !, then I've lost the last faith in Custom made of any kind in EA's FIFA series anno 2018 and really also in the future .

Speaking about Player Instruction. If man review what the individual player has of options as a defensive player or CM, then the lights are clear where EA's focus is - attack and wings, that's simply not good enough. I'm trying to create more options ever to make CM to CDM to increase players' capabilities, again a central midfielder has too little variation options in relation to modern football. And in combination, that should not really mean good, but let's see.

So there will be no standalone FIFA World Cup 2018 from EA. Surprising?, No!. For a man like me who is a little sarcastic and maybe too direct the answer is clear - EA do not give a s ... about Fifa, they have never done that. Well, what are they interested in?, seriously!,.. I need to answer that to myself ?.

Back in 2010, there was a wonderful man named Simon Humber (r.i.p), who created the World Cup and many more versions of FIFA where he was creative director. He helped promote career mode and not least the money machine FUT. Had EA really loved football, they had continued to expand both, not least, the possibility that the user could be creative, which Simon was especially responsible for. But we all know which way they have chosen. So, therefore, my claim is perhaps slight assertion that creativity died with him. How many employees at the EA FIFA series really have a real football understanding, or a background in football (some?, maybe that's the trouble they confuse soccer with football, lol ) ?. Ea`s understanding is they hire a Ronaldo, Messi, Hazard and more a couple of days (hours) a year, making animations and get some playing tips on how real players move etc. and that is enough ?, it sells at least. Dear EA, could you try to hire a defender next time you may be surprised by what moves opportunities exist for a defender !?. Of course, they also have competent employees, but either they may or can not show their talents, speaking of creativity.


But the whole point at the start of the presentation is that they do not have to, just they sell enough, ( and their conclusion must be there is not enough money in World Cup anymore) ,, and always more, and who cares for a "trifle" like really trying to understanding football?. The reason they're even bothering themselves with "soccer" is selling well, because otherwise their basic attitude was back then and today, Ea dont give a .....


110% convinced that standalone is a deadly race, EA has even mentioned it, now they just have to check if the silly user also agrees to buy online, and of course we do. Who believes in the opportunity that we consumers finally sends a signal to them, no, it does not happen because for 98% of the buyer it's just a soccer game. Two reasons for they scrapping standalone are money and control. Sell more less cost and control via online. The future looks bright for EA, but for a real football game ?.

One of the reasons for the EA throughout the ages has been less focus on the defense's positioning. There is nothing more difficult to program in the game than that = positioning. It's still their sore point.
