Some great work going on in here, nice one guys.

A quick question. If I'm mid-career will the changes still take effect? I know I selected current customized at the start, hoping that means yes? Means I'd be able to carry on this career, updating things when required, rather than starting again.

I have a feeling you'd have to start a new career. Pretty certain, actually.

I have some small questions. I have noticed that on your new custom tactics file you have abandoned the idea of putting almost all teams with 100 agression, EPL teams or otherwise.
Do you recommend changing this value for all teams? Is 100 agression too much, or did you find it was still not producing enough fouls?

It just wasn't producing fouls and instead made all teams press the ball more. I think the pressure and aggression work in tandem. Pressure is basically the back line height and aggression is how much pressure is put on the bal itself. With these lower ones, you see teams sit back more and defend instead of going at you and giving you space.

At least that is the plan.

Spreadsheet has been updated. All preliminary EPL tactics as well as formations are now entered. I believe there are a total of 12 custom formations as of now.

Also, if you want an even more realistic pace and experience, try my sliders.

I think everything is locked in once you start the career. Current customized means the current rosters at the time you created the franchise, not current over time.

Question: What's your target for leagues with these tactics? The top leagues? All England...?

EPL, Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A for sure, then Ligue 1. After that, not sure.

First let me say thank you for all the work you have put into these. Second I am very new to slider editing and custom tactics in FIFA and truly understanding the difference between arcade style and authentic gameplay.

I understand completely what you are trying to do but I feel with the build-up speeds so low there is very little attacking in EPL games now. I also notice that the User AI is just terrible at defending, not tackling or being aggresive at all.

Am I just not used to the real way the game is played (entirely possible) or Am I missing something??

Hello, I was wondering how you get the generic CTs and other league CTs. It was said that everything was posted in the second post of this, but it only shows the EPL CTs.

The only generic ones that I had done were for EPL sides, which have since been replaced by the current ones.

Do you know if those tactics used in that Understanding Custom Tactics Fifa 10, can still be used in FIFA 12

I remember that site had generic tactics which could be applied to teams based on region and etc - since FIFA limited the amount of tactics, so it was of a great help.

So do you know if those tactics still work out in FIFA 12 - seeing how FIFA changes every way in some way.

Awesome stuff here people. Major props to Krebstar for this initiative. It makes the Fifa gaming experience much more fun and immersive, especially for SIM players.

Would be nice to see some tactics and formations for national squads too

Anyway, keep up the great work.

Do the sliders override the CTT? In other words what kind of effect would changing Length Height and Width have on custom tactics instead of leaving them all on the default 50?

I wouldn't suggest using them exactly as they are, but it's a great resource to craft some others. Basically, if you use them, just make them slightly more extreme. Make slow teams slower, fast teams faster and long ball teams use the long ball more.
