After 6 games AFC Wimbledon are 1st in League 2 with 15 points. A 4+ goal difference is the only thing separating them from 2nd place Portsmouth. Competition is tough as there is only a 3 point difference between 1st and 6th place.

Wimbledon have progressed to the 3rd Round of the Capitol One Cup after defeating Middlesbrough 1-0 in extra time with a beautiful goal by Francomb in the 102nd minute. This was not the only upset of the round, as Bournemouth shocked Manchester United by defeating them 2-1. Wimbledon will host Morecambe next who eliminated Bolton Wanderers.

Anxiousness and worry surrounds Chavez as his first important match of the season comes up in the Round 2 of the J. Paint Trophy. Early in the tournament, AFC Wimbledon will host their rivals MK Dons. A match that simply cannot be lost, MK Dons' visit to Kingsmeadow will not be a welcomed one. In 3 weeks time the two teams will face off.

Couldn't ask for a better draw there. Awesome that you get to take on MK Dons.

And even better you get to host it. Lots of angry fans going to be out there!

As for Striker it all depends on which type you like. Do you want a dribbler who can create on his own? I speedster who uses his pace to break away from defenders? Or a Target man who is the big guy in the middle you send crosses into and who does well in hold up play?

I picked out these guys since they don't have crazy starting ratings (although I'm not sure what they will be at by 2017 where you are), but the main factor was that none of them are in an especially prestigious league. I think it's realistic to think that a club in the Championship that just got a huge budget looking to spend big is likely to be playing in the Premier League in a year and they could be attracted to that.
Yeah thanks will deffo check out these players, and I like a target man preferably but also like players with pace any will do but yeah if you can find me a potential target man with decent potential then please tell me

Goncalo Paciencia would be a good guy to take a look at. His name has some accents or whatever in it so it might not turn up in a search, but he plays for FC Porto. He starts out as one of those guys who is solid all around, but doesn't exactly excel at any one area. By 2017 I'd imagine that he is a damn good all around player with those stats growing to be good in multiple areas. He should have decent pace, good strength, solid finishing, and really good shot power. His dribbling is actually pretty nice too, and he has 4* skill moves to top it off.

He should fit nicely as a guy who can basically take on any kind of striker role.

Leandro Paredes, starts out as a 75 OVR 19-20 year old in this game. On Boca Jrs. roster in the game but currently on Roma's roster IRL

Only 7 days until the Round 2 J. Paint Trophy clash between AFC Wimbledon and MK Dons. Fans from both sides have been heating up the tension since the draw was made, with both sides claiming to be the true heirs of the original Wimbledon FC. In fact, AFC Wimbledon fans have led a campaign for MK Dons to "Drop the Dons" in the past but MK Dons refused to change their name. Banners and scarves reading "We Are Wimbledon" are in high demand from the AFC side, and to add on to the heat, stickers reading "MK Scum" continue to be popular. In return, MK Dons fans have published photos of signs reading "Welcome to MK - Home of the REAL Dons!" in the Milton Keynes area and also a banner reading "We're not dropping the Dons, get over it" as well as "AFC Hypocrite." There is no doubt that there will be extra security in the stadium on match day.

We caught up with an AFCW fan who was handing out "MK Scum" stickers at the stadium to hear his thoughts:
"It's great to be a part of this because this situation is one that has never happened before and most likely will not happen again between two clubs. There's a reason why MK Dons, a team with a great stadium and a great academy and stuff like that, haven't attracted many fans. It's because everybody knows they shouldn't be in the Football League! We did it the hard way, the REAL way, while they pretty much cheated their way. I don't know how that scum of a team can hold their heads up and have respect for themselves."

We left the scene as this kind gentleman's words attracted surrounding fans and began to chant "DOWN WITH MODERN FOOTBALL"

                  Bradford City CM

The month of October was somewhat of a disappointment for Bradford City as they were only able to pick up 7 points from 5 games. Striker, James Hanson's, red hot form came to an end but he still played very well, scoring 3 goals during the month. Loanee Gael Bigirimana has emerged as an essential part of the team as he is able to control the tempo and pace of the game with his passing abilities. He has been in excellent form and has therefore been awarded Bradford City's Player Of The Month. At the end of October Bradford City sits 4th in the table with 27 points. Scores from October look like this:

                  Bristol City 1-1 Bradford City

                  Bradford City 0-0 Colchester

                  Gillingham 3-3 Bradford City

                  Bradford City 2-1 Rotherham Utd

                  Brentford 0-0 Bradford City

                  NEXT GAME: MK Dons

                      J. PAINT Round 2: AFC Wimbledon Vs. MK Dons

This has been the first time, in a long time, that I've had a match where I felt that it was unforgivable to lose. Not because I wanted to continue fighting for the cup, but because of the rivals in front of me, and what this game means. So here's a summary!

AFC Wimbledon and MK Dons have only met once since both of their existence. The first time they met was in December of 2012 in Round 2 of the FA cup. A packed stadium at Milton Keynes (all of the banners I was talking about in my previous post are from the real game) saw MK Dons triumph over AFC Wimbledon with a stoppage time goal, ending the match 2-1. It appeared, for a moment, that history would repeat itself.

The atmosphere was fantastic. The in-game fans actually made me feel the pressure! As soon as the match kicked off the fans were jeering. Usually the home fans will boo at 1 rival player, but in this match I could not figure out who they were booing at. I confirmed that it was at least 2 different players. If these players lost the ball, an overwhelming cheer would occur. If I slide tackled one of these players, an overwhelming cheer would be heard. The tension was definitely felt and I knew I couldn't let the fans down.

                      1-0
At minute '28 Hylton opened the scoresheet for AFCW after an unexpected cross from Murphy. With my style of play we usually hold 65% possession at least until the end of the first half. As I've mentioned before I play a 4-1-4-1 but when we have the ball it becomes a 3-4-3. In order for this switch to happen I need to hold the ball so my players can get in position but also the CDM plays the most important role. He needs to hold that midfield together, have a higher defensive work rate so he won't push forward and instead fall back as a center defender during attacks, and he needs to be the man that starts the play every time - he's the distributor. In this match, none of this was possible. Possession was 52% MK Dons - 48% Wimbledon and my CDM had a 5.7 match rating, his lowest all season and the lowest of this match's starting 11.

                      1-1
A hard fought match in midfield limited the shots on goal for both sides. Players were constantly on the ground but all from clean, aggressive tackles. It looked like AFCW were gonna take the victory until MK Dons' Chadwick puts in a shot that goes under 3 defenders and the keeper after a rebound at MINUTE 90!

So the match goes into extra time. With a fatigued squad and all out of substitutions I tried to play slower. MK Dons did not take their foot off the pedal and pressured me again and again. At Minute '102, Bowdwich from MKD connects with a cross to make the game 2-1. I was awe struck. I couldn't believe it. I had no more options up front as my attacking third were fatigued. As soon as we kicked off I pushed forward. If we're gonna get muscle cramps then so be it but we're not holding back! Minute '105, Luke Moore scores after a rebound and makes it all even again!! 2-2 and I was ecstatic on the sidelines.

Game finished at 2-2 taking us to a penalty shootout. The pressure was too much for Harry Pell as the MK keeper blocked the third shot for AFCW. Fortunately, Wimbledon scored the remaining 4. While MK missed their first shot by attempting a chip down the middle and hitting the top post, and their 4th shot which also hit the post.

AFC WIMBLEDON HAVE ELIMINATED MK DONS WITH A 4-2 PENALTY SHOOTOUT SCORE!!! We are Wimbledon!!!

                        Cardiff City Career Mode

Firstly, sorry for lack of posts recently, exam pressure has been on, but now I have finished all of them and I should be able to post a couple of times a week. Thanks to indiblue for your suggestion, I did want to make the layout better so I was trying out new things. I think I will centre and space them out a bit more. Anyway without further ado, lets get on with the career mode
Interview before the game at home to Man City

Geoff Shreeves - In your last game you beat West Ham 1-0, will there be any changes to the side today?

BossMan - Yes, we're going to playing a 4-2-3-1 as we did last week, however Jo (Inge Berget) in the central attacking midfield position. Outside him is going to be Wilf (Zaha) and Jordan (Mutch). Defensively I'm resting Aaron (Cresswell) so Fabio starts, otherwise we are unchanged. Hopefully with this team we can take another three points, although it may be more difficult this time.

GS - How do you plan on stopping Stefan Jovetic and Sergio Aguero from scoring this week. Jovetic scored a double last week and Aguero took one?

BM - Yes, they're both already in great form. I think the plan is to be physical, both these lads are quick and skillful players, they're not the strongest so I think if out big centre backs can get tight and hassle them, Jovetic and Kun won't have a chance. Our pace out wide will hopefully be used to great effect and hopefully when we attack, City won't be able to stop us.

GS - The rumours of Jordan Mutch's departure are ever-growing yet you start him today. Is their any truth in the rumour?

BM - Look, as with every great young player, teams are going to try and take him. Jordan has been talked by a number of big clubs but at the moment we have only recieved one formal offer.

Are you able to tell us who from?

                        BM - I'm afraid not.

Anyway good luck, hopefully it's a good game

                        BM - Yeah, cheers Geoff

Press Conference after 2-0 defeat to Man City

Question - You were outplayed, anyone comments?

BM - Look, we knew it would be a difficult match, City were excellent and credit where credit is due, Stefan Jovetic was stunning. I though we played well, Wilf created an awful lot and Danny was also brilliant. We defended, overall, quite well, it was just out carelessness and inexperience which let us down. The boys need to walk away with their head held high, but they know we have a lot to work on.

You recently said that you wanted to pick up one more marquee signing. Could this match take your "draft" stock down?

BM - I think that the match will certainly make people think twice about joining us, but Man City are a great team and the manner in which we went about the game was good. I still think players will want to join us. I reckon this team is going to be a force in the future and I would've thought many players will want to be a part of this project.

Your next match is against Everton, are any changes going to be made before that game, especially if Jordan Mutch is on his way out?

BM - I think we were unlucky in the Man City game as I've said a number of times. I don't think many changes will be made however we need to bounce back. This game was a real lesson in Premier League football and the boys will learn from it. Hopefully we can go to Everton and get some points, play some good football and get the fans back on our side.

Final Question, the transfer deal for Joe Mason fell through last night, it was said they couldn't negotiate a contract, will this be beneficial in the long run or did you want to cash in now?

BM - It was a rushed decision to let him go I think, and I'm quite happy he turned down the contract himself. The kid looks like a hugely promising talent and could prove to be an excellent striker in the future. Thanks, no further questions.

BULLISH BOSSMAN STATES CARDIFF WILL SUPRISE A FEW AT EVERTON
Cardiff City's manager Mr. BossMan has stated that his team will play full-out attacking football in there hope to bounce back after his teams destruction at home to Man City. "Look, I though we were unlicky as I've said but we showed glimpses of brilliance against them, I'm hoping we can turn those glimpses into phases of play throughout the game. I know we have the ability to beat Everton in out squad, it's just if we bring out A Game"

                        Interview after Everton defeat 1-0

GS - BossMan, back-to-back losses, what do you think?

BossMan - We were poor, we lacked cutting edge, we defended sloppily during the goal and I'm sure Jamie and Gary will have something to say about that in the studio, we had no real force in midfield and Lukaku destroyed us. I can add no more, we were just terrible.

GS - There must surely be positives to take from this game

BossMan - Yes, one, it was only one goal.

GS - The injury to Kim Bo Kyung looked quite serious, any idea what it was and how long he should be out

BM - It was a sprained ankly, he should be out for a few days.

GS - Finally, any more news on the Jordan Mutch transfer saga

BM - Look, an offer has been submitted and is being considered, other than that there is no further news. I told you this last time Geoff. Why do you have to keep asking about something when there is nothing new. We've just lost a game, a significant loss due to how terrible we played, Jordan played very averagley and he would be the first to say that and all you care about is a possible transfer. That's the English bloody media for you. Cheers Geoff.

Welcome to Sky Sports news. We have breaking news for you straight away, Cardiff City have accepted a £10 million offer for youngster Jordan Mutch who is leaving to Chelsea. The deal comes as a shock due to Mutch's seemingly poor performance at the weekend. The question remains to be seen who will Cardiff replace him with. Meanwhile in other news Cardiff's manager Mr. BossMan has been fines three weeks of match earnings for comments made after the match between Cardiff and Everton about English media. The new manager is certainly getting himself noticed, it just appears he is being noticed by the wrong people for the wrong things
Hope you enjoyed reading that, there will hopefully be at least one more post this week. Hopefully the new layout looks a bit better and hopefully you guys will be looking forward to the next post.

Thanks man, as I've said in my latest post, I'm still trying to experiment with the layout of my career mode. I've used your suggestion for the latest one, feedback would be hugely appreciated not just on the layout but the actual career mode. Also I'm a huge fan of your posts, I'm really enjoying the Brighton one at the moment so any feedback you have is hugely appreciated. Also let me know if you want a varied Q&A. I'm trying to incorporate newspaper articles, sports news amongst other things hopefully coming soon if I think they work. Anyway thanks so much for your feedback and hopefully you still enjoy the career mode.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

I have followed this board for a while and figured I would finally chime in with my own career. I with Swansea City in 2017 and am currently in 5th place heading into the final month of the season. I play World Class/7mim/default silders.
Here is a quick rundown of how I got to Swansea. I started my career mode with FC Metz in Ligue 2. About half way into my first season with them I was offered a job with Lokomotiv Moskow and took it right away. Took Lokomotiv to the group stage of the Champions league in my 2nd year with them but did not make it out of group and was suddenly fired. I was pretty surprised when I got the email saying I was sacked. So I was hired by Swansea after that and have been with them since.
                              Top 6 - Team/Games/Pts.
                              Chelsea 33 79
                              Man City 33
                              69
                              Liverpool 34
                              66
                              Arsenal 33
                              63
                              Swansea 33
                              63
                              Man U 34 58

So as you can see I should have no problem qualifying for Europe for the 2nd year in a row but my last 5 games are BRUTAL! Not sure what the schedule makers had against me this year but here are my last 5 in order: @Chelsea, Arsenal, @Man City, Norwich (who is top 10 this year), @Liverpool. So 4 of 5 against teams above me with 3 being on the road, yikes! I play a 4-4-1-1 and my starting IX is:
                              GK-Zeiler 84
                              RB-Richards
                              78
                              CB-Amat
                              79
                              CB-Rekkik
                              78
                              LB-Davis
                              79
                              RM-Dyer
                              77
                              CM-Ki
                              76
                              CM-Ekicki
                              77
                              LM-Edwards
                              76
                              CAM-Shelvey
                              79
                              ST-Welbeck
                              81
                              Subs: ST-Donnely 77, LW-Gorre 74, CAM-Pozuela(sp?) 76, CDM-Strobl 71, LB-Ciss 79, CB-Chico 75, GK-Jesus 73

I have invested a lot into my youth squad and I have a few that I have called up and loaned out and a few that will be called up at the end of the season. I am really looking forward to incorporating my youth into this team because I really need some speed added to this team. I’d love some input from you guys on how to improve this team, especially as I move into the summer and the transfer window. I will try to update as much as I can. Wife and I are moving into our 1st house this weekend so I won’t have much time for the next few days. Hope everyone enjoyed!

                                Bradford City CM

The month of November proved to be great for the Bantams of Bradford City as they were able to take away 12 points from 5 games. ST James Hanson has continued to play very well as he now has 12 goals and 3 assists in 14 league appearances. His play has put an end to the debate of who the first team striker should be and has made it difficult for ST Aaron McLean to find a spot on the team sheet. Hanson has been the leader of the team this month, scoring 4 goals and picking up an assist in 5 games, which has led to him being named the Player of The Month. Bradford City now sit 2nd in the table with 39 points from 19 games right behind Wolverhampton with 42 points. Scores from November look like this:

                                Bradford City 2-1 MK Dons

                                Crewe Alexandra 0-1 Bradford City

                                Carlisle United 3-2 Bradford City

                                Bradford City 3-0 Sheffield Utd

                                Port Vale 0-1 Bradford City

Looking ahead to December it should prove to be a difficult one for the Bantams as they play 8 games. It will surely test the players fitness and show if they are true title contenders. With the transfer window ahead midfielder Chris Atkinson has stated that he will be leaving the club when his contract expires, but Bradford City will likely try to move him before that happens. This will surely be a blow to the club as Atkinson has been vital to the Club's success this season. Also rumored to be moved is struggling forward Aaron McLean who has only found the back of the net once in 10 games, but only time will tell.

                                Next Game: WALSALL
