Adding to it, the Kinect has recorded me swearing, and I've received two board warnings, with the latest threatening breach of contract/termination if my poor conduct continues. I'm top of the table BTW (4-1-0).
I've dropped down from 15 minutes to 10 minute halves and it seems to be playing the same as 15 minute halves so far, so I'm rolling with it. Using Orion's next gen sliders.
Feel free to check out the website through the link in my Signature. I've started using video highlights through an app on the XboxOne, and think I'll start creating highlight reels instead of just one highlight for each match report. The app allows me to string together/eidt 5 clips, and upload them to the Cloud.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
I usually replay most of the teams I lose to mainly because I hate losing more then I like winning. But the game is more fun like that instead of being upset a lot as a good team because you don't restart.INACTIVEComment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
I finished season 4 of my CM with Leyton Orient in 5th place in the BPL, just one point behind Manchester United for a top 4 finish and CL spot. So close... I was also bounced from the Europa League by Athletico Madrid AGAIN!! At least I made it to the semi-finals and earned a little more cash before Toni Kroos, Diego Costa and Co. kicked my ***.
I'm well into season 5 now, and my roster of youngsters is continuing to bloom. I promoted a youth player to my squad after the Adryan "homesick" fiasco, and he's been nothing short of outstanding. He's currently rated 73 OVR at just 18 years old, and has the "Potential To Be Special" label. His potential was listed as 83-88 before I promoted him, so he's still got quite a bit of growing left.
I also discovered an awesome youth player from PSG who might actually be the regen for Ibra. He was only 69 OVR at 21 years old when I found him, but he has insane physical abilities while being 6'3" with 5* weak foot ability. I brought him on as a sub for his first game and scored a hat trick in 12 minutes of game time. The guy is a freak. He's progressed +3 since joining my club in the January window of season 4, and doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon.
I've just started to get some serious squad depth at my club in season 5. I no longer have to worry about starting tired players or players in the 50's OVR when the schedule gets packed. However, I've had more players complaining about playing time this season than ever before. Some players just never stop complaining, like my RM who whines if he sits even one match with full energy. For those of you who are having the same problem, I discovered that using more than one formation helps.
For example, I primarily use the 4-2-3-1, but I have 3 good strikers who should all be getting playing time. So I switch to a 4-4-2 or 4-1-2-1-2 for some matches, and it allows me to get more playing time for some under used players. I use this mid-match sometimes and it has been surprisingly effective. I recently managed to pull out a 1-0 win at Old Trafford by switching from 4-4-2 to 4-2-3-1 and bringing on a CAM who scored in 85th minute.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Losing is apart of sports. If you hate losing, then win...
But, then again, some people play sports games for different reasons. I play them because I obviously love sport, and its as close as I get to my playing days lol... I use to have this roommate who was 14 years into a Madden franchise, he played on pro & won every game by 45 points...... To me, someone who plays sim-style and gets the satisfactory of EARNING a victory & accepting the taste of defeat, or what is the mixed emotion of a hard fought draw.... that just doesn't seem like that would bring me much satisfaction, beating up on & cheating the computer.....Last edited by RonMexico1992; 11-26-2013, 03:45 PM.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
decrease difficulty to balance it out. losing is part of the game. if you don't accept your losses, there's no fear of failure, i can't imagine anything as boring as that.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Just started a PSG manager mode with a new manager, Jack Jackson from the USA. This will also be on my blog. Heres entry one:
PSG Defense Pitches Shutout
Nobody gave Sevilla FC a chance when they played PSG. In fact, betters around the world betted most of their money on PSG's preseason opener. Turns out they were right. PSG brutalized Sevilla, destroying them 4-0. This was also the debut of Jack Jackson, a new manager promoted from managing the youth team. After the game he had a press conference that went like this.
ESPN Reporter: Your team was running the score up. How do you feel about that?
Jackson: It's their fault for not being able to stop us. I have no comment other then that.
BeIn Sports Reporter: Ibrahimovic had two goals and almost had a hat trick. Any comments on that?
Jackson: He did good. What else do you want me to say?
PSG Fan: I noticed that Menez had a goal in his debut. Will he get more minutes because of this?
Jackson: I can't tell you that.
Barcelona Fan: Reports from ESPN said you reached out to Barcelona to try and buy Neymar. Is that true?
Jackson: I can't tell you that.
After the press conference Jackson was seen heading to his office and working on finding young players to buy. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that PSG is very interested in buying young Brazilian superstar Neymar de Silva Santos Junior, and that Jackson will try and buy him "No matter the cost."

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Off topic, but there totally should be a dive command. It'd be great for when the CPU is pulling the ever-loving-blank out of my guy's shirt. Shirt pull > flop > foul called. Hey, if it's in the game... right?Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Next entry in the Jack Jackson career is here.
Motta injured in PSG Blowout
PSG shocked the world when they signed rookie manager Jack Jackson earlier this month. It paid off. Under his leadership, PSG crushed Sevilla FC 4-0 in their first preseason game. In the next game against Southampton though, things took a bad turn. PSG was up 1-0 just before half time, and it there was only a minute left. PSG had the ball and was on the attack, Thiago Motta leading the charge. But a Southampton player dove for the ball, winning the challenge but breaking Motta's left ankle. This is the press conference after the game.
BeIn Reporter: You guys won 3-0, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic getting a hat trick. This is his fifth goal this season. Are you considering making him captain?
Jackson: It's to early to decide that. Come again in a few games and ask me.
ESPN Reporter: Motta was injured in this game. How long will he be out and who will play his position?
Jackson: The team doctor says he will be out three months. As for his replacement, we are still deciding. We may bring in a new Center Back on loan to hold down his position.
Barcelona Fan: Rumors say that Barcelona has rejected your trade offer for Neymar. Is this true?
Jackson: Why does everyone ask me this? I have no comment.
PSG Blogger: How much money did you offer Barcelona?
Jackson: An undisclosed amount. I won't talk about it.
Jackson left the podium after that and was seen meeting with the team doctor about the injury to Thiago Motta. When reporters tried to find out what they were saying, the two left the building, escorted by crowd control.
