Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Well, end of November and we sit 2nd in the table behind only Manchester City. We have 19 points after 8 matches, they have 24 points after 8 matches...If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. ALSO, I am still looking for names for the Arsenal-Sunderland rivalry, the Manchester United - Sunderland rivalry, and the Manchester City - Sunderland rivalry. If you have anything creative, I would love to hear it.
For this month I can only tell you the scores, not who scored, sorry but I had finished with my post so I exited out of notepad, and it turns out my browser didn't respond and had to close. So, here are the scores, like it says above, if you have questions, please ask.
AEK Athens 1 - 2 Sunderland
Sunderland 1 - 1 Manchester United
Swansea City 2 - 1 Sunderland
Sunderland 4 - 2 Heracles
Sunderland 1 - 0 West Brom
There are the scores, again I apologize for not having the goal scorers, I'm sorry for exiting out of notepad, and I'm sorry that my browser REALLY sucks. I hope you still enjoyed, the next update to come soon.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
The end of November has come. We still sit second behind a Manchester City team who has dropped only 3 points, which was to US. We are behind them by 4 points after 13 games, with 32 points. Arsenal is in thirdbehind us by 5 points, followed by Chelsea, Man Utd, Spurs, and Everton all with 22 however, Man Utd has a game in hand on everybody in the league except for Cardiff, who sit bottom of the league with 6 points. If you have any other questions on this, feel free to ask. I have gotten my first and second international offer, both of which I declined. The first was from Bolivia, and the second from Peru. With that, let's get to the results.
Hull City 2 - 2 Sunderland
Sagbo 7'
Vergini 30'
Oxlade-Chamberlain 75'
Huddlestone 90'
Sunderland 5 - 1 AEK Athens [Champions League]
Oxlade-Chamberlain 22'
Oxlade-Chamberlain 30'
Oxlade-Chamberlain 33'
Altidore 45'
Walcott 57'
Tsevas 64'
Sunderland 1 - 0 Newcastle
Dossena 47'
Manchester City 1 - 2 Sunderland
Nasri 17' [I HATE YOU]
Wickham 39'
Wickham 56'
Stoke City 0 - 2 Sunderland
Larsson 48'
Oxlade-Chamberlain 63'
Inter 3 - 4 Sunderland
Hernanes 8'
Oxlade Chamberlain 10'
Chicharito 18'
Palacio 45'
Altidore 45'
Walcott 49'
Giaccherini 78'
Aston Villa 1 - 2 Sunderland
Tonev 54'
Giaccherini 67'
Vergini 78'
That's the end of November. Still looking for names for rivalries. Walcott has gone up +1, Altidore +2, and the Ox hasn't moved. You see that month he had? HE HASNT MOVED! Also, I will release a spoiler. Well, not a spoiler. Basically where I am right now is at the very beginning of December and I haven't played a game in December yet. But, I guess I'd call it a.... future hint... Eventually I think I want to get Alexis Sanchez to sort of replace Altidore. Although I'm not sure when that would be, whether it would be next season or the season after, or if I will even be with this team for that long. If I see a good opportunity to move, I may take it, I'm not sure at this point in time. But what I do know is I really want a player like Aaron Ramsey... but at the same time I want a non-Arsenal player... lol. I feel like they might as well call the club Arsenal soon if it goes like its looking. So I'll look some other places [Doumbia?] Or even regens. Like Ibrahimovic's regen! Even um... sorry guys, another Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry's regen! Hahah, I'll try to find some of them and mix it up. Just letting you guys see what goes on in my mind as far as transfers. Alright, I'll finish now before I go to far. I hope you enjoyed this update, the next once should be probably tomorrow, and then the next one after is JANUARY!!! Alright, I'm done. Hahah.

You should just buy Henry in January to replace Altidore! :0 haven't checked his stats in game but in real life he does really well with the red bulls.
EDIT: He's actually rated 78 while Altidore is 74. He's 35 though so might be retiring after 1st season and won't let you approach him. If he isn't, I think it would be cool if you sign an ex-arsenal legend given your approach to this career.Last edited by _ChicoBass; 07-29-2014, 11:53 PM.Comment

WILLOUGHBY CONFIDENT AHEAD OF NEW YEAR MATCH
Brisbane -- If one thing can be said of Brisbane Roar FC manager Willoughby, it's that he does not want for confidence. When questioned recently about the difficult road ahead, Willoughby simply scoffed. "These are all professional teams. Every match is an obstacle, a stumbling block on our way to the league championship. We can't take any match for granted, because all of these players are professionals. They're the best Australia has to offer. But when I look at our schedule, I don't start to tremble. I don't want our players to start to tremble. I want our opponents to tremble, knowing Brisbane Roar is on their schedule. I want my players to believe there's nothing for us to fear--Brisbane Roar can't play against themselves."
Brisbane Roar FC have a match this evening against Melbourne Victory FC to kick off the new calendar year.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
AD Alcorcon - '16-'17 Season
BREAKING NEWS
AD ALCORCON PROMOTED TO LA LIGA!!!
Los Alfareros have earned promotion to Spain's Liga BBVA with a game to spare after consecutive victories in their last two games helped them clinch a second place finish in Liga Adelante. Granada CF, which was battling Alcorcon for most of the season for the direct promotion spot, will have to fight their way through a playoff for promotion to La Liga after a 1-2 defeat against RC Recreativo in week 40 proved very costly. Alcorcon went into week 41 knowing that a win would clinch direct promotion and they reached their goal with a statement win!
SD Eibar - AD Alcorcon (0-2)
Yamura '44 (P)
Farago ' 82
CD Numancia - AD Alcorcon (1-5)
O. Gonzalez '25
Beleck '33
Farago ' 71
David Martin '78
Alex Rubio '80
Farago '86
With just two days off between games coach Del Barco planned to rest a lot of players for the game at Numancia but, led by captain Serran, the players were very vocal about wanting to play a possibly clinching game and the coach granted their wish with Yamura being the only exception. He was replaced by Franco Gomez, a Spanish product of the team's youth academy, who ended with Man of the Match honors. Exhausted but full of adrenaline near the end of the game players embraced on the sidelines jumping and singing as the last minutes counted down. When the game ended the bench rushed the field to greet their counterparts on the field, celebrating with an extra edge after a difficult end to last season kept them from being promoted. Coach Del Barco watched the celebrations proud from the sidelines before Serran and Omar Gonzalez picked him up on their shoulders and carried him to their celebration.
BeIN Sports caught with the coach for a post-game interview.
BeIN: Coach, you seem shocked at what you're seeing right now, can you share your thoughts with us?
Del Barco: It's just all the memories going through my head. I'm trying to take it all in. We fought so hard last season and had such a heart-breaking end to the season. For a lot of us, myself included, it was very difficult to put that behind. In a way it was a driving force during all of this season. To finally achieve that goal feels surreal. Don't get me wrong though, this team is totally deserving of what we've earned and I couldn't be happier about this accomplishment.
BeIN: What would you say was the biggest difference between last season and this season? How big of a factor was the financial investment the team received at the beginning of the season?
Del Barco: That was huge. I mean it really allowed us some flexibility as far as going out and bringing in some guys that really made a difference this season. Omar (Gonzalez) has just been amazing all season long, a pillar on defense and a constant threat in the air. Leo (Paredes), he's been injured for the past few weeks but he was undoubtedly our best player when on the pitch. He's such a world class talent. But I also think that our depth this season was a huge factor as well. Being able to develop a lot of the kids from your academy to be contributors for us from starters, to bench players, to reserves, I really think each and every player was key in getting to this point.
BeIN: We're going to let you go back and celebrate coach but really quick, knowing that Mallorca has clinched the league title, should we expect any changes to the starting XI for the last game of the season at home against Real Murcia?
Del Barco: I really haven't been able to do that yet but there's a chance we might play some youngsters yet. Ask me again later in the week I'm out of my mind right now. I have to go be with these guys. I'll talk to you guys later!
Liga Adelante Standings
TEAM - GP/W/D/L/GF/GA/GD - PTS
1. RCD Mallorca - 41/28/9/4/85/24/+61 - 93pts - LIGA ADELANTE CHAMPIONS.
2. AD Alcorcon - 41/27/8/6/70/25/+45 - 89pts - AUTOMATICALLY PROMOTED TO LIGA BBVA
3. Granada CF - 41/24/12/5/78/31/+47 - 84pts
4. Sporting Gijon - 41/22/10/9/70/43/+27 - 76pts
5. UD Almeria - 41/22/8/11/68/46/+22 - 74pts
6. Real Murcia CF - 41/21/9/11/56/45/+11 - 72pts
7. UD Las Palmas - 41/20/11/10/60/43/+17 - 71pts
8. RM Castilla - 41/21/8/12/60/42/+18 - 71pts
There's some juicy action going on for that final spot in the playoffs although UD Almeria hasn't clinched their place in the playoffs yet so that's something to watch.
There is also some news from our youth academy as both of our goalkeepers, Venezuela's Alex Navas (64 OVR) and Germany's Simon Mustafi (55 OVR) requested to be called up to the senior squad and were granted their wishes (Navas to a 5-year contract, Mustafi to a 3-year contract). Another German, Kevin Vrancic (52-56 OVR, 73-79 POT) has requested to be called up to the senior team and contract negotiations are ongoing. However, as an agreement has not been reached before the final game of the season Vrancic will miss out on an opportunity to play in the finale as Del Barco will indeed roll out a young lineup onto the pitch in front of the home fans.
And that's it for now. Next post will be end of season with reviews! SO STOKED!!!!!!!vrabbit

AD Alcorcon - '16-'17 Season REVIEW
Another season has ended and we're finally on our way to La Liga and to newer and more exciting adventures. Although we didn't win Liga Adelante we still earned automatic promotion and we consider this season a grand success.
Liga Adelante FINAL Standings
1. RCD Mallorca - 96pts
2. AD Alcorcon - 90pts
3. Granada CF - 87pts
4. UD Almeria - 77pts
5. Sporting Gijon - 76pts
6. UD Las Palmas - 74pts
* Sporting Gijon won the playoff and is promoted to La Liga.
It looks like I missed the team of the season but I do know that our GK, Sebastian D'Angelo, won GK of the tournament (league). Mallorca's coach won manager of the year and UD Las Palmas' Ben Basat won player of the year. Granada CF's Marquinhos Gabriel won the golden boot with 16 goals while Leandro Paredes led the league with 12 assists despite missing the last 2 months due to injury. D'Angelo had 21 clean sheets, 10 more than the next guy.
Copa Del Rey Champion: Real Madrid (3-2 over Valencia).
Copa Europe Champion: Liverpool (2-1 over Real Madrid).
Champions League Champion: Juventus (1-0 over Real Madrid).
Euro League Champion: Manchester United (2-1 over Liverpool).
Relegated from Liga BBVA: CA Osasuna (damn right!), Levante UD, Real Valladolid.

Next post will be a roster review. We have a LOOONG roster ...vrabbit

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
"Petch's Everton prepare mentally and physically for the biggest game of the season - bar Anfield - City."
The crowd was going wild just like they were on the 24th of April 1985, it was incredible.
The game kicked off with Everton - and for the next 90 minutes - it was all about the football. Straight away Petch's boys witheld defensive and a counter attack playstyle, but that couldn't stop a certain target of Petch's for next season - Stefan JOVETIC! He stormed through 4 players with the ball glued to his feet, and easily slotted it past Howard, who unfortunately declined two points in 1 week of no game time - so Petch saw the weakness from the off. On came Butland in the 10th minute - and also Jagielka for Kouyate - our beloved captain was needed. Attacking was needed - and The Mighty Ox listened. "CMON BOYS - THESE MONEY GRABBING TWATS AREN'T SHOWING US UP!" so he took the ball from kick off - and done a repeat of Jove - and looked at him and said "That's how an Evertonial does it" the crowd and Petch were going wild!
Fernandinho was up to no good after kick off - his ex-team mate Barry took the ball off Aguero from kick off and he didn't like it - and he slid in from behind to injure our talisman - it warrented a RED and he was issued a YELLOW!! REFEREE! The crowd were going to kill someone, pennie's thrown at the REF - it was chaos.
Half time blew and Petch had to get his team in. "Listen boys, these are cheating ****s, and we're the better footballers, so lets show them what we're made off! Gareth - tease Fernandinho, I wanna see him hit RED! Capeash?!"
Gareth (Vice captain) - "Yes Petch, come on BOYS!!!!"
The kick off begun - and Manuels team were playing Barca-esque football from the kick off - but passing it around the back between Vincent and Pique is basically asking for the brute Icardi to take his 9th goal of the season up to 10 - and what a beauty it was - and what a beauty he is.
Icardi didn't stop there - he wanted revenge for Barry - who got hurt by Fern. - so Icardi done what all stupid strikers would do - and took Fernandinho's legs flying - it was a certain red, but the referee Derek Millborrow couldn't bring himself to take a red card out of his pocket for his earlier mistake, and he didn't even give him a yellow!? Petch was in creases laughing - the crowd were shouting "Revenge for Barry - you money grabbing ****s!"
Ofcourse it wouldn't be a great game without our star Baines having a good run - and in the 90th minute a hefty challange from Kompany got Baines his time to shine infront of his fellow England team mate Hart - and boy did he hit that free kick. 3-1 against Manchester City, could Petch be happier? Best game of the season.

"BREAKING NEWS - FA BAN FERNANDINHO FOR 5 MATCHES DUE TO WOEFUL CHALLANGE ON EVERTONS Gareth Barry" Justice is served.
? And you don't care about me leading the Bundesliga? Isn't that also left? I will never speak to you and I won't reply to you never again! You... you... I don't know how to describe you
But jokes aside, I'm also really looking forward to Chico's update.
And for those who are interested, the January update of my Hertha career will be posted in about half an hour... and it will be a boring January update.-Simppu12-

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Man Utd sit in first place
Chelsea sit second place
Spurs sit third place
Everton sit fourth place
Arsenal sit in fifth with the same point less goal difference
Man City sit sixth
Man United are 13th lmfao the moyes effect !? :/
Bottom three are Bolton, Sunderland and West Bromich Albion
Do you's want more of these or month update and just these types for huge games!?
and Petch is a very passionate manager as you can tell, but that's because I have gotten so into this career mode, I even got offered the Juve job before the City Game and I completely rejected - the way the team plays is amazing and I love it so I can't help but be passionate.Comment

Challenging the Champions
January 2015
Hertha 3 - 0 Nuremberg
Kovacic 19', Ramos 51', Stocker 61'
Hamburger SV 1 - 1 Hertha
Romeron 72' pen, Ramos 90'
Borussia Dortmund 0 - 1 Hertha
Ramos 90'
For the game against another top-class team Ganchev had changed his usual 4-3-3 and he used a similar 4-1-4-1. Hertha played differently compared to before, with a lot more short passes and they kept 62% of the possession. They defended well and created chances but the finishing was off. Dortmund had only two shots the whole game while Hertha had 7 on target. It looked for a long time that Ganchev's side was going to drop points again but after a BVB corner the Berliners started a quick counter attack which ended in Adrian Ramos getting his 18th goal in the league by shooting a powerful shot from the left out of Weidenfeller's reach. When the Colombian celebrated his goal the man ran to hug Ganchev. A great result for a great team.

Press Conference
Hello again, Mr. Ganchev. What happened during the transfer window?
Absolutely nothing. Those greedy bastards just think they can get great players for almost free! We won't sell our starting striker who's only 22 for €12 million! If you pay 40 million for Witsel or 60 million for Hulk then Lasogga is worth at least 50 million! And when you don't get money from selling you don't have money for buying, it's simple.
Alright, I get it. What do you think about your results in January?
They were good and we got all the points we deserved. Against HSV nothing worked and everything went their way. Even in the penalty Thomas (Kraft) went the right way. We were really poor in that game but we managed to bounce back beautifully against Dortmund.
Why did you decide to change the formation?
I decided it was time to change our playing style to more possession oriented and the assistant coach, Ilian Bluev (the manager is Bulgarian and his assistant coach is also from there so I decided to make the name more Bulgarian. And that is meant to be an "Indiblue easteregg"), suggested a modified 4-1-4-1 which is really similar to our 4-3-3. I decided to try it and it worked out really well. You'll see Hertha use it for at least this season.
Thank you for reading the post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!Last edited by Simppu12; 07-30-2014, 06:45 AM.-Simppu12-
