Everton Career Mode
Spoiler
Phil Neville, six time Premier League winner, three time FA Cup winner and a proud owner of a Champions League medal, had a fantastic Premier League career for Manchester United and Everton. However, his only regret is that he didn´t win enough at Everton.
Now, at age 37, Neville has decided to take the ropes and be the manager for the new Everton. "I am glad that Everton has trusted me again, and I hope that I will not disappoint them."

The boss had a few goals in mind to improve the squad - namely bringing in young talent, loaning out young talent and getting rid of "old wood". Instantly a few youngster were sent out on loan - Hallam Hope, John Lundstram, George Green, Ryan Ledson, Brendan Galloway and Jindrich Stanek - all recieved season loan deals at other clubs to find First Team minutes.
However, that was not all the offloading that Neville decided to do, as he sold 2 players. Steven Pienaar was sent to the Tottenham Hotspurs, as he didn`t impress the new coach enough to be kept in the team.
Another player "given the boot" was Antolin Alcarez. The 32 year old center back was sold to OGC Nice. However, Alcarez did not feel bad for leaving. "I have had a good time at Everton. I feel as this is a new step in my career. I am getting old and I know that my time has come to leave this wonderful club, but that does not mean that I am done with football.
We over here at Everton wish both Pienaar and Alcarez a successful season at their new clubs!
Now, on to more positive news. During the transfer window two new players have been brought in aswell.
The young English striker from Burnley, Danny Ings has joined the forces of Everton, as Everton paid 4,6 mil. dollars for him. Neville was extremely happy with this signing, as they were searching for a young, pacey striker to come off the bench and be an instant impact.
Another player, who is also from England, is Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain, who joins the ranks of Everton. As he was not happy at Arsenal, Everton went for him and for 15 mil. dollars, Arsenal were willing to let him go.
The first game for the Toffees was a tough one, as they went to face Leicester City. Most fans had hoped for a easy victory, but no such luck. The new signing himself, Marc Albrighton was the first one to score, letting the home team take an early lead.
However, two minutes later, Ross Barkley showed some solo-brilliance and scored the first goal for Everton in the Premier League. Leicester did not give up and just before half-time, Marc Albrighton got the ball and scored his second to give the home team a 2-1 lead.
However, it was not the last goal of the game, as Kevin Mirallas scored a late goal to finish the game 2-2. The fans had hoped for 3 points, but it was a tough game.
A huge game for Everton, as they went back to Goodison Park to play against the title-favorites, London Chelsea. And it didn´t start good.
The first goal was scored by Oscar, as he shot one past Tim Howard. Chelsea did look very strong, but as Romelu Lukaku took a shot, it was saved great by Schwarzer, only to be deflected to Ross Barkley how tucked it away to make the game 1-1.
After that, the game was very intense, but the next goal was produced by some seriously great passing play by Everton, as it was James McCarthy who got 1-on-1 with the keeper and he did not miss. In the 90th minute, he made the game 2-1, which was the final score. The Toffees went mad, as it was a day of great football.
If you thought that great football was over, think again. Goodison Park still had to host a game against Arsenal, another tough opponent.
However, the game was stale and rather boring, both team had chances but could not score. The only proper chance came in the 90th minute yet again, as Ross Barkley scored, however, the goal was later disallowed, as he was offside during the shot.
