Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Luton Town 2015-16
Season 2 - League 1
With Luton Town dong so well in the league it has not gone unnoticed by some of the teams in the higher leagues. They have all started looking to what is bringing this side so much success. Most of them are looking towards the players and saying that they are too good for the League 1 team. This is prompting teams to look into trying to tempt the players away, with clubs as big as Manchester Utd and Real Madrid picking not just one but a few players that they think could be the next big stars. Luton Manger Mr Fish has given a solid hands off warning to all teams saying that their players are not for sale. Wether this will be able to keep the big teams from offering big money contracts for the players is still yet to be seen. January could be a struggle for Luton. But before we get to that we have December to get through, here are the results:
December
Capital one Cup Quarter finals
Brighton vs Luton Town
A much easier game than Swansea on paper
SpoilerBrighton 1-4 Luton Town
Calderon 10'
Rooney 44'
Calcutalua 48' 53'
Flores 81'
FA Cup Round one
Northampton 0-3 Luton Town
Mitsuya 51'

League 1 Game 22
Luton Town 4-1 Oldham

Calcutalua 30'
Rooney 45' 89'
Flores 84'
League 1 Game 23'
Preston 1-1 Luton Town
Flores 66'
Garner 78'
League 1 Game 24
Swindon 2-1 Luton Town

Waldon 90'
(Simmed)
League 1 Game 25
Luton Town 3-0 Walsall
Onishi 45'
Calcutalua 83' 90'
League 1 Game 26
Luton Town 1-0 Wimbledon
Flores 68'
Chicobass' Wimbledon fought hard and were nearly able to hold Luton to a draw. Unfortunately for them Flores was able to wiggle his way round the defense and slot in from close range. The two managers were later seen in an expensive restaurant and then on to some of the high end bars in Luton.
League 1:
Spoiler1. Luton Town 60pts - 40GD
2. Huddersfield 53pts - 23GD
3. Bradford 49pts - 8GD
4. Notts County 45pts - 16GD
5. Rotherham 45pts - 9GD
6. MK Dons 43pts - 9GD
7. Brentford 42pts - 9GD
...
11. Coventry City 35pts - 4GD
...
24. Wimbledon 17pts - -16GD
Luton Town are still in pole position but there lead has been slightly deceased. I blame this on the game I simmed. Chico's Wimbledon are playing similar to Exeter last season as they can't seem to get out of last place. There decision to sell their main striker was obviously a bad one.

A good month overall where we got most of all of the league points and also progressed into the semi Final of the Capital one Cup and round 2 of the FA Cup. Thanks redsox (May have spelt that wrong) for the advice and anymore is really appreciated.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Kind of on the same boat. I've been away because my work productivity has been down in October so far. September was really busy with tons of shoplift activity but so far October has been tough so I'm trying to focus a bit more until it picks up.
I'm also taking a short break from Wimbledon. I think I got a little burnt out trying to get through all the games with the club and Scotland fast. I started playing Assassin's Creed 3 again to beat it now before I get PS4. That way I can get the new AC game as well. I also started a Guadalajara career just because I missed them but not posting it since it will also be my first FIFA '15 career which I plan on posting.
I'm still reading the posts here but haven't been able to post feedback as much lately sorry gents :/vrabbit

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Torino have today confirmed that Fabio Quagliarella suffered a broken toe in their Europa League 1st leg defeat against Hull City on Thursday night and is set to be out for 3 months.
Quagliarella has been in superb form so far this season topping the Serie A scoring charts with 15 goals. His absence will be a massive blow to Torino's title challenge, they currently sit 3rd in Serie A but will find that hard to sustain without their top goalscorer.Comment

Exeter City F.C.
FIFA 15 - Season 1
The Grecians
March
F.A. Cup Round of 16 Replay
Exeter City 3 - Fulham 1
EXE - Sercombe 7', Wilson 14' (Pen), Reid 45'
FUL - Chihi 75'
Sercombe received the ball at the top right of the box before dribbling in towards the center and firing a shot past the keeper. Wilson then easily converted a penalty chance to double the lead for Exeter. Reid capped off the half after making a great back post run and receiving the ball from Wilson before shooting it past the keeper to put Exeter up 3-0 heading into the second half. Chihi then broke the clean sheet after Taggart drew the defense in and laid it off for the finish. It wasn't enough for Fulham to overcome the poor first half and Exeter advance to the quarter finals.
Southend United 1 - Exeter City 2
SOU - Clifford 87'
EXE - Wheeler 45', Keohane 79'
A great build up play starting with Grimes bringing the ball down the field before playing up ahead to Cummins who then layed it across for Wheeler who finished it off opened up the game right before half. Keohane then made a great run and received the ball from Oakley before playing the ball to the opposite post and into the net. Southend kept the game interesting as Clifford scored late with a great strike from the top right of the box that ended up in the left side of the net. They were unable to get anything more and Exeter walked away with the 2-1 win.
Exeter City 4 - Oxford United 2
EXE - Ariyibi 12', 49', Wilson 30' (Pen), Oakley 66'
OXF - Hoskins 10', O'Dowda 40'
Hoskins sneaked in a back post run that surprised the defense and he converted the chance to open up the scoring. Ariyibi answered back after being fed the ball up the middle from Williams for an easy finish. Wilson converted easily from the penalty spot to give the lead in Exeter's favor. O'Dowda hit a great side volley that went off the crossbar and in to even it back up. Ariyibi added another to break the tie after being played through up the middle once again by Williams. Oakley then received the ball just outside the box and clinically dribbled to a spot on the right where he was able to fire into the left side of the net to add to Exeter's lead.
Exeter City 3 - Stevenage 2
EXE - Sercombe 39', Wheeler 58', Keohane 86'
STE - Charles 21', 54'
Charles opened the scoring with a great left footed shot from the center that split it's way through two defenders on it's way into the goal. Sercombe wove through the defense before firing a low shot into the goal to even up the game. Charles then gave Stevenage the lead once again after he hit a perfectly placed shot that rolled into the bottom right corner. Davies then weaved into the box before crossing it to Wheeler's feet for the easy goal to equalize. Keohane then made a move to the left of the box before shooting around the defender and past the keeper for the win.
F.A. Cup Quarter-Final
Bolton 2 - Exeter City 4
BOL - Spearing 44', 80'
EXE - Ariyibi 27', 81', Wilson 45', Sercombe 89'
Ariyibi gave Exeter the lead as he dribbled towards the middle of the box from the left before firing the ball back across just inside the left post. Spearing took advantage of a missed challenge by Hughes and beat the keeper easily in a 1 on 1 to tie up the match. Exeter then won a corner that Sercombe sent in and found Wilson's head who put it back into the opposite corner of the goal just before half. Spearing tied it up once again on a great effort that tucked right into the near post. Ariyibi faked out his defender before going in on goal for the easy finish and the lead. Sercombe then sealed the victory with his late goal off of Wilson's deflection to advance Exeter to the Semi-finals.
Wycombe 3 - Exeter City 4
WYC - McClure 5', Bloomfield 30', 70'
EXE - Ariyibi 24', 61', Sercombe 27', Reid 71'
McClure scored the first goal of the game with a great shot that went just inside the post for the goal. Ariyibi then came on a run with the ball down the field and faked right before making a quick cut left to fire a shot into the net. Sercombe then gave Exeter the lead after coming up the middle and drawing in the keeper before putting it into the net. Bloomfield then evened it up after a cleared ball fell to his feet and he fired a perfect shot into the upper 90 from outside the box. Wilson then crossed it in from the right wing and Ariyibi rose up and headed home the ball to give Exeter the lead back. Bloomfield showed Wycombe's resilience as he volleyed a cross into the box that found it's way into the back of the net. Reid then followed up his own shot that was saved to fire it past the keeper who was still on the ground to give Exeter the win.
Exeter City 3 - Luton Town 2
EXE - Cummins 24', Tyler 36' (OG), Sercombe 58'
LUT - Lafayette 67', Benson 81'
Cummins made a great move with a fake shot to throw the defender off balance and then smashed it into the goal with his left foot. Reid's shot then sent the defense scrambling after the keeper saved it, but Tyler knocked it into their own goal in the chaos that ensued. Sercombe then capped off Exeter's scoring with a dribble to the left before playing a perfectly placed ball to the opposite post. Lafayette then got Luton on the board with a well struck ball that settled into the upper left corner of the net. Benson then made the game interesting with a nice fake to his left before cutting into the goal and firing a shot past the keeper. Exeter were able to hold on to the lead for the remainder, and guaranteed themselves promotion with the win. Lethal Fish, the manager of Luton Town, stayed on the pitch after the match to congratulate Tex Bumosix on the promotion.
J. Paint Trophy Final
SpoilerChesterfield 2 - Exeter City 4
CHF - O'Shea 18', Gnanduillet 84'
EXE - Wilson 15', 45', Ribeiro 45', Reid 45'
Grimes took the ball away in the midfield and played it up the field to Reid who then played it across the box to Wilson for the tap in to open the scoring. Chesterfield came right back when a great run up the middle led to a powerful left footed shot by O'Shea that hit the back of the net. Ariyibi was then sent off for a bad challenge leaving Exeter down a man and Chestfield with high hopes of taking control. As the 45th minute hit Ribeiro received the ball on the right wing and dribbled into the middle before firing a left footed shot that went off the right post and in. Chesterfield continued to play sloppy and Sercombe took the ball away and played it up to Ribeiro who stepped up once again to send a great grounded cross into the box that Reid hit home to extend the lead. Sercombe then took the ball away once again before playing it up to Wilson on a run past the defense, who then finished it calmly past the keeper to the opposite post. Gnanduillet then headed home a ball chipped over the top of the defense to help cut the lead, but Chesterfields overconfidence in their man advantage led to too sloppy of play to overcome and Exeter City was left to hoist the trophy.

Youth Academy
Aaron McKenzie (England) 16 years old 50-54 OVR 74-80 POT.
-At only 16 years old Aaron McKenzie still has a lot of growth to accomplish as a player. The youth coaches seem to have found a role for him on the left side of the midfield and he seems to be a natural fit there with his strong left foot. He is known to be highly technically gifted.
Ben Devera (England) 15 years old 39-41 OVR 65-69 POT.
-The 15 year old favors playing in the defensive midfield in a holding role. However, he is known for his playmaking abilities giving him a lot of versatility in the middle of the pitch.
Drew Tootle (England) 17 years old 45-49 OVR 68-76 POT.
-The young keeper is a giant at 6'5" and only 17 years old. He has the potential to be the future first choice keeper for Exeter if he develops properly.
Fraser Walker (England) 17 years old 48-50 OVR 64-68 POT.
-The 17 year old player is making the majority of his appearances as an attacking midfielder in the academy. He is known for his technical gifts in the midfield and has the potential to make the senior squad next season if he continues to develop well.
Isaac Fryers (England) 15 years old 34-40 OVR 70-82 POT.
-The young 15 year old prefers to play right in the center of the pitch. He plays with a more defensive mindset, but has a tendency to play more in the center rather than in the traditional holding position.
Leon Robinson (England) 15 years old 31-37 OVR 66-82 POT.
-At only 15 years old, he has found himself a role as a right back within the youth squad. He is a pacey right back who likes to get involved in the attack with his ability to overlap with the midfielders.
Exeter City Player of the Month
Liam Sercombe
Sercombe showed great quality in the midfield as he put together some of his greatest performances yet this month. He recorded 5 goals this month, but showed his true value as a box-to-box player making plays all over the pitch and on both ends of the ball.
Press Conference
What an amazing month. I couldn't be prouder of this group right now. There is a lot to go over so I will open it up to questions and if anything is missed I will address it before I go on my way.
Q: With your win over Luton Town, you have secured promotion to League 1 for next season with still over a month left in the season. What is the atmosphere like around the club after such an accomplishment?
A: It feels great. The players are excited, I am excited, the supporters are excited. Everyone is thrilled right now. The players worked hard to earn this and I am glad that we have it locked up already to take the pressure off of these last games. I appreciate it even more after having thought I had accomplished it with Morecambe last year, only to have it ripped away with the point deduction. We are enjoying this, but we plan to keep giving everything we can out there since there is still a league title to win.
Q: On top of your promotion, you also ended the month taking home the J. Paint Trophy. How does it feel to win your first trophy with the club?
A: This is only the first of many. I took over this club with the intention of winning as much and as often as possible. There is still a lot left to accomplish, but I know this is the right club I can do that at. We are going to treasure this win, and we will have to trophy to remember the start of something special now.
Q: You also had a big wins over Fulham and Bolton in the F.A. Cup to advance to the semi-finals. There are those around the country still critical of your cup run though, citing you only having drawn 1 Premier League opponent so far in Sunderland. What do you have to say to your success so far, and to your critics?
A: We don't control the draw, we can only play those who we see on the pitch. It is not my job to worry about the other teams that I may draw in the future. Until I see a fixture scheduled with them, they are not on my radar. Regardless of that, we are still a League 2 team. They can discount our opponents all they want, but it has been quite some time since we were favored in one of these matches. Championship sides are no laughing matter, but we are still winning these matches all the same. Anyone who wants to say otherwise is just lucky that it wasn't them out there on the pitch against us.
Q: You have terminated Emerson Hyndman's loan deal after he sustained a broken ankle effectively ruling him out for the remainder of the season. How much of a set back is this unfortunate turn of events?
A: It hurts to lose such a promising player like Emerson, but it is something we have to deal with. After we received confirmation that it was indeed a break, we decided to send him back to Fulham so that they could oversee his recovery. We think that is what they would have wanted with the investment they have placed in him. Our job now is to adapt and move forward with the remainder of the season.
Thank you everyone for being here today. It's been a pleasure having you all here today after such an important month. I look forward to speaking to you all again. Hopefully I will be standing before you as a recently crowned League 2 champion.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
SpoilerHey guys and welcome to the Summary of my first 2 seasons with Wycombe, YES you read that right, i did 2 seasons already, now how did that happen? I did not post for the following reason: Since u might all remember we were robbed and my PC was still going to be delivered in a week, I have it back now an ready to let u guys all catch up regularly now. Remember this is all from memory.
Season 1
I first of bought an 1/1 Scout and send him to australia for 9 Months, I used my remaining transferbudget and some money from sales i made to buy Akpom for around 150,000 and Bigirimana for 300,000. By the time it was January, we were in 3rd with 2 Points behind the Leaders, I opened the transfer window with Selling on In-form Striker McClure for 700,000 Since he wanted to leave. I loaned Hiwula for a short loan and a future fee of 500,000, i also loaned a right back with the same deal as Hiwula (Cant remember the dudes name). The season went on and we became champions by 4 Points. We also managed to sneak a round of 32 spot in the FA Cup were we lost to Swansea City. Bigirimana Had grown to an 67(+6 I believe in one season) Overall, wich made him my best player at that time. I payed the fee for Hiwula as he was also growing rapidly. Akpom on the other hand did not grow a single rating wich made me decide to loan him out to see if it would solve the glitch. I signed Sansovini a Youth squad player with an overall of 68, Making him my best player. I also called up a Goalkeeper from my youth squad with an overall of 62, He came in because my best goalkeeper was 58, that wasnt good enough. And we ended the season on a high note, Football League 1, Here we come!
Season 2
At the start of season 2 i Sold Hayes for 650,000 and Brought in Akinfenwa as his Replacement for 120,000. I also Loaned in Bouregeaud a CF From france playing in the MLS (Yes, Thierry Henry Regen.) I bought 2 Centre backs, In Chambers (63 Overall and 88 Pace/72 Strength) and Uxio (62 Overall) for a combined fee of 600,000, By this time Bigirimana and Sansovini are both 70 Rated. We start of the season bad, Being crushed with 2 Striker injuries in Bouregeaud and Akinfenwa, Making me force to go into a 4-5-1. We were 11th in January. I Loaned in Armstrong, A CF From newcastle and Bouregeaud came back from injury together with Akinfenwa, Wich made me go back to the 4-4-2 i really love. Hiwula started tearing up the league apart after that, Scoring 11 Goals in 5 Games, which also resulted us in winning the J.Paint Trophy. We manage to secure second spot with one game to go, And the table looking like this: 1. MK Dons 79 Points 2. Wycombe 76 Points and Bristol City 76 Points. I beat MK Dons in the season finale with a stunning 5-2 Victory, and i won the league on a 3 Way tie on goal difference. WE ARE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.
Season 3
Welcome to season 3 of my Wycombe Wanderers career mode!
These are the transfers:

300,000

Thanks!
Thank you everyone that actually read the whole thing, I hope You guys will enjoy this Career mode.
Thanks for filling us in on all that has happened! Glad to hear you're recovering from the robbery and FIFA hasn't gave you any extra grief! I like the new signings especially Akinfewa (biased because he's a Wimbledon player? No of course not lol) but the main thing, the most important part of your recap, is beating MK down and taking the title away from them! Everyone here has always struggled against them but you put them in their place with a big win way to go! Can't think of a better way to return to the forum!Comment

How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Sent to Coventry
Season 1
FIFA 15
SpoilerMatch 17
Sheffield United 2-1 Coventry
Murphy 44
Nouble 45
Cuvelier 59
Your first loss of the season, how does that feel?
It is absolutely gutting. Murphy smashed in after a rare defensive lapse but when Nouble curled in that equaliser I was sure we'd at least leave with a point. It's such a shame, especially when that winning goal was caused by a man on the ground injured. I'm really disappointed with the referee for that, we lost points because of an awful decision.
Match 18
Coventry 2-0 Chesterfield
McQuoid 23
Roberts 44 (PEN)
And the return to status quo.
Yes exactly. McQuoid scored a stunner, curling it in and is seriously giving me a selection headache. I was especially impressed with Roberts. The 17 year old skipped past his man and was bought down in the box. It was like watching Ronaldo, the only way he could be stopped was by a foul. He will be an England international, mark my words. And then to score the penalty, so composed at such a young age. Incredible!
JP Trophy Area Quarter-Final
Yeovil 1-2 Coventry
Nouble 5
Swanson 23
Fernandez 63
And you advance even further into the competition you are dying to win
Yes. That early chip by Nouble was a touch of quality and, I'm not gonna lie, Swanson was the last person I expected to finish that curler from outside the box. The header from the Yeovil lad was disappointing, but we're through so it doesn't mean much.
Match 19

Well what can I say other than how do you feel about that result?
Disappointed. We conceded. No, in seriousness it was disappointing to concede but we were incredible. Patrick curled in the opener and I was delighted and then Chuba knocked in on his debut. Chuba responded immediately to that Forte header, showing why we brought him in with that amazing run and finish. Patrick scored again and Tudgay headed in to show how brilliant this side is.
Match 20
Coventry 3-0 Port Vale
Swanson 9
Nouble 18
O'Brien 51
Another great result. You seem to have gotten back on track after that result against Sheffield.
Yes. I am so pleased with this result. Swanson showed great bravery and dedication to block that drop kick and knock it into the back of the net was brilliant. The teamwork that led to Franks incredible finish was amazing. The quick passing followed by the backheel and then the curled into the top corner. And then O'Brien pulled that out the bag. 30 yards I think it was and he curled it past the keeper. Straight off the drills on the training ground, amazing.
Match 21
MK Dons 1-1 Coventry
Grigg 45
Johnson 67
You seem disappointed with this result
Yes I am. I am good friends with Chavez of Wimbledon and his rivalries become mine. When Grigg curled that in, I was shattered and I assume Chavez was as well. Johnson's scrappy finish got us a draw, but I'm not pleased.
League Table
1. Coventry 54
2. Preston 47
3. Barnsley 41
4. Peterborough 39
5. Sheffield United 38
6. Bristol City 35
-----
21. Crewe 18
22. Swindon 16
23. Fleetwood 14
24. Crawley 14
You dominate the entire league but MK are able to hold you. What the hell man. Thanks for the mention though. It's good to see I still have some friends here *cough* not like you Wetson *cough* :P
On another note, you still have a good cushion between you and Preston North End. The league title is surely going to Coventry and good luck in the J. Paint!Last edited by _ChicoBass; 10-17-2014, 09:11 PM.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Great results and congratulations on winning the J. Paint Trophy! Great progress in the FA Cup as well. They may not be premier league clubs but they are still teams from a higher division and Fulham are most likely promotion candidates in the Championship. Don't let those reporters bring you down man! "Same old Spurs! Same old sorry-*** Spurs!"
That what was said by Coach Smith after his Arsenal team destroyed neighborhood rival Tottenham Hotspur 5-2. Spurs got of running with a quick goal by Soldado in the 5th minute, but they couldn't contain the new strike partnership of Danny Welbeck and Paco Alcacer who scored 2 goals apiece. Alexi Sanchez also added a goal. Spurs goal scorer Soldado was sent off in the 60th minute with a reckless challenge on John Stones, and usually calm Hugo Lloris tackled Welbeck during a corner kick causing a penalty which was slotted home by Alcacer. The Gunners do not have much time to celebrate due to the fact of a scheduled game in 2 days against Manchester City (really EA?).
