Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Good luck Simp! I'm sure you'll pass with flying colors because like Texas said your English and your grammar have always been spot on. I mean, if you can crack jokes left and right in a different language then that means you're pretty fluent in that language.

You don't tell us what do, communist! Plus, Obama doesn't need to ride a bear. He can strike Putin down with the colors of liberty.

How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
all about ready to post my Dagenham update but can't remember some deals that I made and my notes aren't good enough. I know two players that were on my team last season are no longer here but can't remember how they were sold (they were included as part of an acquisition) and now I don't want to post without that info.
Go to squad report and scroll down to the players you brought in. Whoever you brought in with a swap deal will say "Recently arrived for $_____ plus ______." Or something like that.
EDIT: You can also go to transfer negotiations and then go to "successful transfers" and you can see the details there.Last edited by _ChicoBass; 12-09-2014, 06:02 PM.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
oh I'm aware of this, thanks, but I've had to resort to taking pics (with my phone) of the stuff I want to put on my update and writing my updates at the end of the day at the office because updating from my house has become a mess (wifi problems). So now I'm sitting here with an update ready to post but I don't have the infoComment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
And now I've been tasked with going to a mediation at the last possible second, which means my Dagenham update will sit at the office all day and it'll have to wait till tomorrow and it'll now be a 2-month update because y'all didn't think I'd just stop playing, did ya?
And yes, that also means I'm ready to post the first Alcorcon update for the new season. Damn posting these updates takes time. Or maybe I play too often, it'll depends on whether you're looking at it from my wife's point of view or minevrabbit

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Hellas Verona
November 2014
Cesena 0 - 1 Hellas Verona
Wickham 61'
TIM Cup Round of 32
Hellas Verona 2 - 0 Lanciano
Toni 41' pen, Marquez 55'
Hellas Verona 1 - 0 Fiorentina
Hallfredsson 33'
The surprise package of the 2014-15 season Hellas Verona continued their amazing form against Fiorentina who finished fourth last season. The only goal was scored just after the half an hour mark when Connor Wickham passed the ball to Emil Hallfredsson who finished the attack with a powerful shot to the bottom right corner. In the last minutes of the game Fiorentina managed to hit the crossbar twice but luckily for the home team they didn't score.
Inter Milan 1 - 2 Hellas Verona
Palacio 60'
Gomez 45', Toni 68' pen
Hellas Verona managed to take another three points from another top team, this time away from home against the Italian giant(-ish) Inter Milan. Verona played a good game and they defended well at the San Siro. The scoring was opened surprisingly by Juanito Gomez who headed the ball in from a corner right before the break. Fifteen minutes later Rodrigo "Ugliest Hair Vine Thingy" Palacio equalised the game with a low shot to the bottom left corner. That didn't turn the game around as Verona went on the attack and they got a penalty which was converted by Luca Toni succesfully.
Sassuolo 1 - 4 Hellas Verona
Magnanelli 5'
Saviola 8', Toni 15', Hallfredsson 61', Wickham 85'
December 2014
Hellas Verona 5 - 0 Sampdoria
Longo 19', Gomez 33', Lopez 52', Valoti 75', Toni 81'
Udinese 0 - 2 Hellas Verona
Wickham 11', 72'
Hellas Verona picked their eighth victory in a row in this game against Udinese. The away team controlled the game and had seven shots in the game. Connor Wickham got the lead for his team in the eleventh minute with a nice header and he finished a brace an hour later from a counter attack.
Hellas Verona 2 - 1 Chievo Verona
Toni 3', Gomez 72'
Schelotto 26'
League Table
1. Juventus, 40 pts
2. Hellas Verona, 38 pts
3. Fiorentina, 30 pts
4. Roma, 28 pts
5. Lazio, 28 pts
6. Sassuolo, 27 pts
------------------------------------------
18. Empoli, 11 pts
19. Cesena, 10 pts
20. Torino, 7 pts
Player of the Month(s)
Luca Toni
The Italian attacker continues to perform really well even at the age of 37. Luca Toni has scored nine league goals this season and he is leading the goal chart of the season. Toni has formed a deadly partnership with Connor Wickham who has also scored nine league goals.
No press conference this time because I'm in a hurry. I'm sorry.
Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!

Month of May 2015
Games
Liga BBVA
Matchday 35
Athletic Bilbao 2-3 Atletico Madrid
44' Mario Mandzukic (ATL)
56' Koke (ATL)
58' Iker Muniain (ACB)
67' Kike Sola (ACB)
89' Jesus Gamez (ATL)- First game of the month, the biggest one of them all.
- First against second; it could decide the title.
- Alcacer got injured right before the game, he was out for 3 days.
- Game started well, we kept the pressure on and had a few good chances.
- Yet, it was Mandzukic who scored the first goal; got past a defender and slotted it easily past the keeper.
- Second half, Koke wins a header and scores it; 0-2 down.
- However, we were not out of it!
- Muniain dribbled past the defense and scored!
- 10 minutes later, Benat gets a free-kick; it hits the bar, yet bounces infront of Kike Sola, who scores; 2-2!
- Both teams really wanted the win, yet neither team was giving up.
- However, very late into the game, Madrid was pressuring us.
- Gamez got open in the box and scored it.
- We lost; the game lost us the first place and might have lost us the title.
Liga BBVA
Matchday 36
RC Deportivo 0-3 Athletic Bilbao
38' Borja Viguera (ACB)
56' Thiago (ACB)
74' Iker Muniain (ACB)
- Back at home, we needed to get a win, to have any chance of staying in the race.
- Things looked bad from the start; the pressure was on us.
- Deportivo got a lot of shots early; hitting the post twice.
- Yet Irazoz kept us in the game; our time to strike.
- Borja connects with a volley from a wonderful cross, we were up!
- Start of the second half, we earn a penalty; Thiago scores it! 2-0!
- Final goal came from Muniain, who, as always, sprinted past the defence and put it past the keeper!
- A good win, one we really needed.
- We were still second, with two games left.
Liga BBVA
Matchday 37
Athletic Bilbao 1-0 Elche CF
80' Markel Susaeta (ACB)- Away yet again, however, another team we could beat easily.
- The game was on us to lose, as we created a ton of chances, with no goals.
- Finally, a goal!
- A beautiful ball got played through to Susaeta, who took a quick step left and scored it!
- The game was over with that; one more game to go.
- Atletico had won their two games since they faced us aswell, just like us.
Liga BBVA
Matchday 38
Villarreal CF 0-1 Athletic Bilbao
85' Ander Iturraspe (ACB)- Last game of the month against a top 5 team.
- However, things might have been good, as Atletico was facing Barcelona at the same time.
- Our game started rather dull, as neither team created many chances.
- The best news came before half-time, and it was not about our game!
- Barca had taken the lead, as the man, the myth, the legend himself scored - Ibai Gomez
- Second half, things started off a bit better; we were actually creating chances.
- It took us time, but we scored! Iturraspe fought the defenders to win the ball and put it away!
- We had won! It felt great, we had an amazing season, we worked hard, and we would deserve the title!
- Sadly, one team was better; Atletico had beaten Barca 2-1, and they were champions yet again.
- Final thought: Close, but no cigar.
