    Exeter City F.C.
    FIFA 15 - Season 2

    The Grecians

    March

    Exeter City 2 - Middlesbrough 1
    EXE - Wilson 41', 45'
    MID - Kike 54'

Wilson took the ball away and then raced past the defenders before finishing just past the keeper. He then showed off his pace once again just minutes later using his strength at the end to hold off the defender and beat the keeper for a second time. Kike took advantage of poor positioning by the defense to win a header and place it into the near post to cut the lead in half.

    Derby County 2 - Exeter City 2
    DER - Coutts 24', Russell 71'
    EXE - Wilson 65', 88'

Hendrick drew the defense into him before laying it off to Coutts for the easy finish on an open goal. Wilson attacked down the right wing before cutting it inside the box and firing a stunner with his left foot just inside the near post. Russell answered just minutes later with a well executed turn inside the box to get a shot past the keeper. Wilson then used his pace to get past the defense on a counter late in the match and beat the keeper 1 on 1 to earn the draw.

    F.A. Cup Quarter Final
    Sunderland 0 - Exeter City 1
    EXE - Ginnelly 83'

Exeter dominated the chances all game, doubling Sunderland's shot count, but couldn't make a difference until late. Ginnelly deflected a pass towards Wilson who then sent it back ahead for Ginnelly to run onto ahead of the defense. He drew the keeper out and went for goal but the keeper got a piece of it and deflected it. Ginnelly tracked down the deflection and tapped it home into the open goal for the winner.

    World Cup Qualifiers
    Switzerland 1 - Northern Ireland 2
    SUI - Drmic 34'
    NIR - McKay 3', 85'

McKay dribbled through a tight gap in the defenders and fired off a shot that snuck inside the near post to open up the scoring. Drmic then equalized after a cross found his head and he placed it in the top right corner. McKay tracked down the rebound off of Reeves shot and hit it with a hard first time strike that blew past the keeper inside the right post for the winner.

    World Cup Qualifiers
    Italy 2 - Northern Ireland 2
    ITA - Balotelli 3', Florenzi 52'
    NIR - Lavery 85', McKay 90'

Balotelli scored an easy opener after a horrible giveaway by smith in the back line. Florenzi then doubled the lead with a low strike from outside the box that skipped into the goal. Lavery proved the decision to sub him on late as he finished up a rebound of his own shot and cut the lead in half late. After Italy earned a second red card and went down to 9 men, McKay took advantage in the final minute as he attacked the goalie and then followed up his own rebound for the equalizer.

    Leeds United 0 - Exeter City 1
Forced sim due to game during international break

    Exeter City 1 - Birmingham City 1
Forced sim due to game during international break

    Exeter City 2 - Watford 2
    EXE - McKenzie 17', Jamieson IV 71'
    WAT - Deeney 8', Smith 29'

Deeney opened early after timing his run perfectly to go through on goal and place it to the left post. McKenzie answered with a strike off a pass from Fryers that went off the keeper's hands and in. Smith gave Watford the lead right back with a strike from just outside the box that stayed low and settled inside the right post. Jamieson made a superb individual effort to dribble through the defense before launching a left footed shot that curled inside the far right post.

    N Power Championship
    1. Crystal Palace - 71 pts
    2. Exeter City - 70 pts
    3. Burnley - 70 pts
    4. Bolton Wanderers - 67 pts
    5. Nottingham Forest - 63 pts
    6. Fulham - 59 pts
    --------------------------
    22. Blackburn Rovers - 32 pts
    23. Yeovil Town - 21 pts
    24. Coventry City - 18 pts

    World Cup Qualifiers
    1. Northern Ireland - 18 pts
    2. Switzerland - 13 pts
    3. Italy - 13 pts
    4. Romania - 12 pts
    4. Ireland - 5 pts
    6. Wales - 5 pts

    Youth Academy

Antonio Lopes (Mexico) 15 years old 42-46 OVR 75-83 POT
-Antonio Lopes has the potential to be a solid defender, although his exact position is yet to be determined. At 15 his 5'6" frame still has room to grow, his final height could make him a great candidate for the middle of the defense.

Carl Little (Northern Ireland) 17 years old 56-60 OVR 74-80 POT.
    - Carl Little has stepped up for the youth team playing as a center back. The 16 year old hit his growth spurt that the youth doctors were expecting and now stands at 6'1" giving him a bright future in the center of the defense.

Jay Holmes (England) 16 years old 71-75 OVR 88-94 POT.
-Jay Holmes has the look of something special. His technical abilities are far beyond his age and enable him to be extremely effective in the CAM role of the midfield. He is no doubt one to keep an eye on moving forward.

Josh Meenan (Northern Ireland) 16 years old 58-62 OVR 72-78 POT.
    - The young boy from Northern Ireland has natural talents at keeper, but his future will be determined on how much he grows over the coming years since he is standing only 5'7" at the moment. If he hits a growth spurt as expected, his future seems bright.

Rafael Lopez (Mexico) 15 years old 50-54 OVR 71-75 POT.
-Rafael looks like he will settle on the left side of the midfield where he spends the majority of his time on the youth squad. His main attributes are in pace and the coaches are hoping that his technical abilities will catch up in time.

Xabi Rodriguez (Mexico) 15 years old 54-58 OVR 89-94 POT.
-Xabi at just 15 from Mexico already shows a lot of promise. His permanent position has not yet been determined, but his future appears to be in either the midfield or as a forward. Everyone will be keeping a close eye on his development.

Exeter City Player of the Month

    James Wilson

It is harder to figure a POTM with two matches being forced sims, but this one will go to James Wilson. Scoring 4 goals and continuing to be the threat he is comes as no surprise for Exeter's talisman up front.

    Press Conference

Q: You were able to climb back one spot into second and remain only a point behind the leader in the table this month. Would you consider this month a success having made some progress up the table?

A: It's hard to say success when we were on top before the last match only gave us a point. We are better than this, but the scheduling has been hell. Next month won't get any better in that regard, so it is up to us to get better instead. I think we can do it, and the league should be mostly determined by this time next month.

Q: A rash of injuries in the midfield as well as the busy fixture schedule resulted in you recalling both Matthew Grimes and Isaac Fryers from their loan duties. Now that the players are starting to get healthy again, will there be enough minutes to go around or will you struggle to keep everyone happy?

A: Winning makes players happy, and we have a chance to do that right now. There are plenty of fixtures this month to go around, so these players will get their chances. If they want to cement themselves as a more consistent first choice, they will have to make the best of their minutes. I love to have such a competition at any position since it motivates each player to give it their all. When you have this many quality players in 1 position, it is a much better situation than having none.

Q: Another successful month in international play, and you have created even more separation for Northern Ireland. Both matches had a flair for the dramatic this month, and you were able to take 4 points. Are you happy with these results?

A: I am very happy with the heart and passion to win these players showed. The World Cup is a huge deal for them, as it very well should be. We want nothing else more. I won't settle for anything less than qualification for 2018. I think we can become a team that needs to be taken seriously two years from now.

That said, I can't wait to see what you get up to next. It'll be a challenge to dive into it with as much enthusiasm as you did Wimbledon, but you'll get there.

As for my new career, the only thing I've decided is I'm going to play 4-4-2. Beyond that, I'm having trouble choosing a club. I know a lot of you say that sides in the lower divisions are more rewarding since you build your team from scratch, but I don't think that sort of career is for me, not now anyway. I don't really like fielding a team of 86-rated players for £40 million, but I lack the patience to work a team up from the third and fourth divisions.

I want that to change, especially since the PS4 makes this game so amazing, so I will pick
(and stay with) a League One team later on in the season, most likely Notts County or Preston. But for now, I think I'll go with one of the more vibrant top-flight sides. Below are the club's I've shortlisted across Europe, and the foundations for the storyline I will use if I pick them.

      1. Burnley: They have a good foundation and British talent, but need quite a bit of work before challenging for silverware. Their location in Lancashire means success can draw fans from all around Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas.

      2. Malaga: It's time to get rid of Sheikh Abdullah and his torment, including the abomination that is Roque Santa Cruz. The best seaside city in Spain, the crown jewel of the Costa del Sol Malaga deserves more success than being cheated by UEFA.

      3. Genoa: The oldest club in Italy was founded as England's footballing outpost in the Mediterranean. Along with most other Serie A clubs, they now have a new stadium to help revive Italian football. Success will stay true to the club's roots.

      4. Eintracht Frankfurt: The biggest team in Germany's greatest city will leverage their resources to enter a spell of success. What's the point in having such a good location if you don't make the most of it?

      5. Bordeaux/Nice: Euro 2016 has been awarded to France, and both clubs are getting new stadiums. Bordeaux is urban without being hectic, while Nice is an incredible seaside town
― both the kind of places rich footballers would love to live.
I'm going to go for Genoa as I'd like to see a Seria A career or even a La Liga one.

I don't want to sound boring by picking a Premier League side but I'm sick of seeing Burley being promoted and relegated the need change so they can become a force. Indi I think it's your job too do it.

I have always voted for Malaga hoping to see a career with them but it has never happened. Once again I will vote for Malaga. They have some young talent but they also have a lot of old players. It won't be easy challenging the big two but it will be rewarding when you succeed in it.

              TOON TO THE TOP
              SEASON 1
              PS4

              Match 14

              Burnley 2-0 Newcastle
              Sordell 16
              Sordell 49

Sordell ran riot against us, beating off Collocini with ease to smash into the bottom corner and then tapping in at the near post from a low ball in. We didn't play well at all, our only shot being straight at Heaton.

              Match 15

              Newcastle 2-1 Chelsea
              Riviere 35
              Willian 56
              Tiote 66

Riviere gave us the lead in incredible fashion against one of the best teams in the league, running clear his curling effort was stopped but he managed to chip in on the rebound. We ran the game, controlling play in midfield and Chelsea only equalised with a touch of brilliance when Willian curled into the top corner from 30 yards. Tiote gave us the lead with a brilliant volley from Aarons flosting cross after beating Ivanovic down the left.

              Match 16

              Arsenal 2-1 Newcastle
              Cabella 40
              Wilshere 58
              Cazorla 78

We did not deserve to lose this game. Cabella gave us the lead, smashing in off the post from 25 yards. Wilshere equalised, smashing into the roof of the net after being left in wide open space in the box. Cazorla then made it 2, stroking in after a combination of unfortunate events led to him getting the ball in the box.

              Match 17

              Newcastle 1-0 Sunderland
              Riviere 68
I was determined not to let our team lose this tie for the 4th straight time but Pantilimon was doing his job better than I'd seen all season. Riviere finally managed to break the deadlock, breaking clear to curl into the bottom corner to give us victory in the Tyne-wear derby.

              Match 18

              Manchester United 0-1 Newcastle
              Cabella 48
Another win! The turnaround is happening, and against one of the top teams no less. The first half was dominated by us, with Lindegaard keeping United in it. Immediately after half time, Aarons dispossessed Rafael and played the ball to Cabella who beat Jones and smashed into the top corner. The rest of the match was dominated by United, but we defended valiantly and held on for victory.

              Match 19

              Newcastle 3-0 Everton
              De Jong 25
              Gutierrez 37
              De Jong 71

Quite simply our best performance yet. De Jong tackled Distin in the box to give us the lead before Jonas Gutierrez went on a mazy run, beating 4 Evertonians before coolly placing into the bottom corner. It became 3 when De Jong beat the defender to smash into the top corner and Robles made a brilliant save to deny Gouffran a fourth.

              League Table

              1. Spurs 39
              2. Manchester City 37
              3. West Brom 37
              4. Chelsea 35
              5. Manchester United 34
              6. Everton 29
              -----
              11. Newcastle 24
              -----
              18. Crystal Palace 16
              19. QPR 16
              20. Southampton 16

              Thoughts

This month was a month of improvement. With 4 out of 6 matches being a win and one of our losses against Arsenal, it appears to have been a successful month. We showed we had the quality when we beat Chelsea, Manchester United and Everton, all top 6 sides. The win against Sunderland was crucial to my career, if I had lost that the fans would hate me even more. If we carry on the good form however, I think I can turn the fans around and maybe even mount a late fight for European competition.

                Part 2 - Pre-season

                Page 828 - Part 1 - Introduction

It has been a hard pre-season. See, when you are in the youth squad, kids takes things lightly. Yet, the kind of training I have seen in the first team - honestly, it scares me. Everybody is proving himself just like before, yet this isn't that you get another chance. If you don't step up, they will get rid of you. Luckily, coach Bentley and the rest of the staff have been really supportive.

I read the news before the season started. I felt pretty good about myself after I read what it wrote:

"Thomas Cruzerr is the newest and most promising addition to the Morecambe line up this year. With all eyes on him it's easy to wonder if the 19 year old forward can live up to expectations. "I have no doubt Thomas has the skills to compete in the team", began Morecambe's manager. "It will really be about his ability to get on with the rest of the lads."

See, I told you that the coach has my back.

Me in the Morecambe jersey. Not too bad, eh?

We started the pre-season with 3 games: two at home, one away. First game was against Valanciennes FC. Coach let me play from the starting line-up. He told me it wasn't really a official debut, yet I should still take it seriously. I played poorly, we all did. Coach was screaming on the side of the pitch.

Half-time, things were going back. The locker room was quiet - nobody wanted to say a word, except for Bentley. He was yelling: "You are not focusing, you are not fighting, you are not keeping the ball." Everything.

Things did not get better, they were on us. They had plenty of chances, yet luckily, they were not putting them away. Then, late at the game, they had too many people up front - we won the ball, got on a counter. I got past the defender and they tripped me in the box - penalty! I also was given the chance to take it - and I scored! It felt great!

We did not play too well, yet we did get away with it. Sometimes, all you need is one chance to win it. The coach was not too happy with it, yet I felt pretty good. Roche, the goalkeeper, told me that we were poor, and if we play like that during the season, we are going to have problems.

Goodall and me celebrating his goal!

Second game against Latina and I got to start again. We looked a bit better. The ball moved a bit quicker and we were creating more chances. Our first goal came from a corner. Goodall got open in the box and put it past the keeper. It was a really weird shot, a high-arching one, yet it was in.

The second one was some good passing play. I gave a pass to Bondswell who managed to give a cross in to Mullin, who put it past the keeper. I got subbed off at 76' minute mark, yet I felt that my game was not too bad. The coach however did not look too happy.

Me getting past the defence and scoring!

Last pre-season game was against Nublense. Right from the start, I wanted to prove the coach wrong. I got past one of the defenders and slotted the ball in, a great strike! We had only played for five minutes, yet I got the early goal.

After that, the game went pretty passive. I got subbed out during half-time. Coach told me that I played well, yet he wants me to rest, because he wants me to start in our first league game. I feel pretty great, I don't know why he wants me to rest.

Anyway, thanks for reading this post, you Shrimp fans! I hope this season will go well!

Really nice work with the wins against those good teams! When I saw the Burnley loss I felt like you were going to have another bad month but then it became much better. You're still very close to the top six and if you continue this great run you will make it. By the way, I feel like I'm reading about Newcastle in real life. First in relegation zone dropping points against small teams and then beating big teams.

                    The Grecians

                    December

                    F.A Cup Match:

                    Exeter City 3 – Sheffield Utd 1

                    SHE Murphy (26’)
Jed Wallace picks the ball up on the edge of the area and squares it to Jamie Murphy who leisurely jogs into the box and plants the ball into the top corner. The Exeter defence was split way too easily.

                    EXE – Grimes (27’)
Cummins passes to Nichols to start the game again after Sheffield scoring. Nichols drifts to the right and passes to Sercombe who dodges a slide tackle and slots in to Matt Grimes who makes a great run into the box and slips the ball in the inside post with his stronger left foot. A good response to the United goal!

                    EXE Cummins (34’)
Sheffield United have a corner which is cleared well away by a Pat Baldwin head. The clearance falls to Graham Cummins on the half-way line and he spots Tom Nichols making a great run away from the defenders on the far side. Cummins’ cross-field ball lands right onto the foot of Nichols who then runs down the right and crosses in to the continuing run of the hungry Cummins who cuts in front of a defender to take a touch on the penalty spot and then flick the ball past the goalkeeper into the far corner.

                    EXE Nichols (45’)
A clearance from defence goes straight to Cummins’ head who tries to nod the ball down to Nichols but the header is intercepted. Nichols still reacts quickest and tackles the defender straight away. Cummins gets the ball and provides a simple through ball to the running Nichols who takes a few casual strides before bending it around the goalkeeper and over the line.

Our Best Performer: Tom Nichols (It was a hard decision between Nichols or Cummins but Nichols just had the extra edge and the hunger to get the ball and do something with it.)

                    Skybet League 2 Match:

                    Dr Peter Riou (Senior Physiotherapist):
The medical staff have cleared Jordan Moore-Taylor to return from his injury so he can rejoin the first team squad’s training sessions.”

                    Oxford United 0 – Exeter City 1

                    EXE Sercombe (60’)
Oxford start strong and are difficult to break down. Their attacking has just lacked a bit in the final third and that is why Exeter City has managed to get into the lead despite being pushed up against the wall. Sercombe picks the ball up but is then tackled swiftly. The ball rolls to Graham Cummins who pokes the ball back to Sercombe who then dribbles past a defender and into the box where he slots it past the goalkeeper and into the net.

Our Best Performer: Christy Pym (Christy made ten saves throughout the match and most of them were great displays of acrobatic diving and also making yourself big when an attacker is through on goal.)

                    Skybet League 2 Match:

                    Exeter City 3 – Tranmere Rovers 1

                    EXE – Nichols (11’)
Cummins passes the ball to Nichols who gets past a defender and charges through on goal. He shoots but it hits the crossbar but fortunately, the ball then goes straight to Nichols again to just nod in the rebound.

                    TRA Odejayi (26’)
James Rowe flicks the ball past the sliding Pym and then picks out the space for Kayode Odejayi to collect the ball and roll it past Pym for a pretty simple but effective goal.

Graham Cummins was injured in the thirty-ninth minute when he headed the ball after a corner. He was taken to the sidelines by the medical staff but they indicate that he cannot play on. (Replaced by Ollie Watkins)

                    EXE – Bennett (54’)
Watkins is brought down around twenty-seven yards out which leads to Marcus Holness getting a yellow. Jamie Reid decides to take the free-kick. He shoots, bends it around the wall and it hits the crossbar. The rebound falls to Scot Bennett’s head and then it goes into the empty net to bring Exeter in front.

                    EXE– Watkins (80’)
Jamie Reid bombs down the left before cutting in and leaving the defender in no man’s land. Reid then whips the ball in over many heads and to the back post where the sprinting Watkins only has to tap it into the empty goal to secure the victory.

Our Best Performer: Tom Nichols (Nichols was everywhere and he created a lot of good chances for the team.)

                    Dr Peter Riou (Senior Physiotherapist):
Graham Cummins is out for 4 weeks with a sprained ankle.” (Will be replaced by Matthew Jay)

                    SkyBet League 2 Match:

                    Exeter City 3 – Oxford United 1

                    EXE– Reid (1’)
Nichols is brought down by Tom Newey to give Exeter a free-kick just outside the box. Jamie Reid steps up to take it. The free-kick is slightly to the right of the goal and Reid stands to the left of the ball. He shoots and the ball curls around the jumping heads and right into the corner to score Exeter’s first free-kick of the season!

                    OXF– Potter (11’)
Jonathan Meades passes to Michael Collins who then picks out the run from Alfie Potter from behind the defence. Potter then flicks the ball to the right and manages the squeeze the ball past Pym at his near corner.

                    OXF– PEN (26’)
Michael Collins squares the ball to Danny Hylton who skips past Pat Baldwin and is through on goal. Ribeiro uses his speed to catch up with Hylton and slides to get the ball away but he just can’t reach the ball. Surprisingly Ribiero is not sent off and only gets a yellow. Will Hoskins takes the penalty and hits it straight down the middle. Pym anticipates this and just catches the ball.

                    EXE – Watkins (40’)
Oxford lose the ball and Sercombe breaks with pace. It’s two on three and Sercombe decides to put the ball into the path of Watkins who sprints in on goal and calmly places the ball into the corner.

                    EXE – Davies (85’)
Arron Davies put on for Jamie Reid in the sixty-fifth and the thirty year old left midfielder gets the ball from Liam Sercombe and bursts down the wing. Davies drifts into the box and tries to cross but it takes a deflection off Matthew Jay and then David Hunt and then past the despairing goalkeeper and into the near corner. Arron Davies claims it but it really could have gone to numerous people. Still, the goal makes sure that Exeter win again and claim another three points.

Our Best Performer: Christy Pym (Despite Liam Sercombe being amazing with his two assists and his powerful counter-attacking it has to go to Pym because he made some great saves and handled the penalty so well!)

                    SkyBet League 2 Match:

                    Newport County 2 – Exeter City 2

                    EXE Nichols (PEN) (45’)
Nichols passes to Keohane who drifts to the left. He gets into the box, skips past a slide tackle and then he tries to cut in but Andy Sandell goes through the back of Keohane to make it a penalty. Sandell is lucky to only get a booking. Nichols steps up and smacks the ball into the top corner where no goalkeeper can get to.

                    NEW – Jolley (54’)
Yan Klukowski slots in the ball for Aaron O’Connor to smack the ball against the woodwork. The rebound falls straight to Christian Jolley who just rolls the ball into the empty net for the equaliser.

                    NEW – O’Connor (59’)
Christian Jolley receives the ball wide on the left. He crosses into the back post where O’Connor dives for the ball and heads it into the net at the back post to get into the lead.

                    EXE Nichols (63’)
Nichols gives Exeter the equaliser only four minutes after O’Connor’s goal. Aaron Dawson presses immensely and tackles two defenders before finally getting the ball to allow him to run down the right and cut it back to Keohane early so Keohane can spot Nichols who takes a little touch and then curls the ball around the rushing goalkeeper and into the near post.

Our Best Performer: Tom Nichols (Despite only having two shots, both of them were goals and Nichols made excellent for the goals and is doing well while Cummins is out.)

                    SkyBet League 2 Match:

                    Exeter City 2 – Newport County 0

                    EXE Nichols (1’)
Watkins and Nichols start the game off and Nichols runs at the defence. He drifts to the right and fakes a shot in the box. He then cuts inside and just smashes the ball into the far corner from a tight angle to make it the quickest goal Bee has ever managed over. That was poor from the Newport defence.

                    EXE – Reid (81’)
Reid is put on for Watkins in the fifty-fifth minute as Watkins was looking a bit slow. Reid jumps into action as Nichols lifts the ball over the defence to the quickest player in the club who just slots the ball in between the goalkeeper's legs for a composed finish.

Our Best Performer: Tom Nichols (For setting up the Reid goal and for getting a goal in the first minute with great individual play. Also credit to Christy Pym for pulling out some great saves that let us keep the clean sheet.)

                    Player of the Month:
                    Tom Nichols

It was close between Tom Nichols and Christy Pym but I think Nichols just had a little bit of extra importance to the team while Cummins has been injured. Nichols scored five times in this month (five in six) and he has really stepped up to the plate. Even when Cummins is fit, Nichols works so hard for the team and contributes immensely but it’s just been overshadowed by how much Cummins works and how many goals he gets.

                    Press Conference:

Q: Firstly, how is Graham Cummins?

A: It’s not too bad but hopefully the medical staff will work their magic and he’ll be able to play again in the next two matches or so.

Q: Your cup performances have been a little poor, but understandable due to the calibre of team that you have been playing against. Do you think you will be able to beat Sheffield United and progress into the next round?

A: Of course. It’s going to be tricky as we have two games that are two days apart from each other and then three days later we will have the Sheffield United match so I will have to plan carefully because I do not want to start all of my reserves in the derby against Plymouth which is in one game’s time.

Q: There have been rumours that you have been approached to become the manager of AFC Wimbledon.

A: Yes, this is true. But I will not be joining any team any time soon. I want to stay with Exeter City for as long as I can and I am still totally dedicated to them.

Q: The January transfer window will open in a couple of days, have you got any transfer targets that you want to bring into the team?

A: I have a few players in mind but nothing is decided yet. I will need to do a lot of research before I am sure of what I need and hopefully I will be able to give more depth to the team and mend some of the positions which are in need of redesigning.

Q: Surely Graham Cummins, Tom Nichols and Christy Pym will have a lot of interest from other teams; will they be available for a transfer?

A: Absolutely not. They are invaluable to the team and have been crucial to our team’s success.

Wait, you're already in January? What did you do in the first four months? Anyway, I guess Cruzerr will score three goals.

                              The Swans

                              January Transfer Targets

I decided to post who I might potentially go for in January (And maybe the Summer.) Feel free to add any suggestions you might have for players.

                              Goalkeepers

                              Kasper Schmeichel

He could be a decent back-up to Fabianski if he ever gets injured. Can he live up to his fathers name?

                              Adrian

The shot stopper is showing how good he is in the Premier League this season. Could he be a replacement for Fabianski?

                              Nicola Leali

The Juventus net minder is currently on loan at Cesena. He is young at 21 and has bags of potential. Could Hayes capture him now thinking about the future?

                              Defenders

                              Mattia De Sciglio

The second Italian Hayes is looking at is the young fullback De Sciglio currently at Milan. He can play at both RB and LB and definitely has a bright future ahead of him.

                              Kurt Zouma

Chelsea's 19 year old Frenchman is a talent in the CB position that Hayes is looking to strengthen. A loan deal may be possible.

                              Matthias Ginter

The young German is another target of Hayes' as he looks to build a young core in his team for the future.

                              Fabian Schar

The 22 year old Swiss is another CB Hayes is looking at. Could he make an impact?

                              Alex Telles

The Brazilian LB has a lot of Potential and could replace Taylor at LB.

                              Midfielders

                              James McCarthy

Everton's McCarthy is a player Hayes wants to get for Swansea in the CDM position. He could be a great player in the future for club and country.

                              Jack Cork

Southampton's Jack Cork is another player Hayes is looking at for the CDM position.

                              Joel Campbell

The Costa Rican interested Hayes and he may move for him on a loan or permanent deal.

                              Attackers

                              Danny Ings

Newly promoted Burnley could lose their talisman if Swansea move for him as Hayes is looking to add some pace up front.

                              Saido Berahino

Another candidate for the strikers role is West Brom's Berahino. The young English international could be tempted to move to the Welsh side.

If you guys have any suggestions please leave them!

                                I'm thinking 4 goals!

Incredible month! You won all but 1 game, which was a draw, so well done. You're starting to open up a gap at the top of the league now too so I'd be very surprised to not see you win the title.

You're starting to climb back up the table now with some good wins! Nice signings with Delph, Kampl and Begovic. Really surprised you got 20m for Krul! Shockingly West Brom are top of the table!

Regarding deadline day, some nice business. I'm a little surprised you let Tiote go. He seemed like he'd be a beast. You've steadied up defensively signing Toure and Dijk. Oliveira is a nice addition up front as well. And of course Ronaldinho!!! He should be fun to use. How old is he now btw?
