How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Awwwww yeah! It has begun! I think it's awesome how the club has only had German managers in their entire history. Even though you came in and killed that tradition, I'm still looking forward to reading more of this career! The part that really made St. Pauli earn my respect, is when you pointed out that they have a really strong fan base despite playing mostly in the 2nd and 3rd division and only 1 season in the top flight in a decade. THOSE are true fans!Comment

Wow that Champions League win over Leverkusen! Coming from just barely defeating Chelsea to absolutely humiliating your next opponent! With that win you certainly became a contender for the title, and good thing you already got Chelsea out of the way. The Blues seem to give everybody a hard time on FIFA. Sucks you couldn't get 3 points from Sevilla, but hey you're still very close to jumping into 1st place. I think you'll get the double this year!Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Was trying to toy around with some ideas for updates and got something cool, but it was so time consuming to put it together, I don't think I would be able to keep up with it lol.
Anyway here's what I ended up with.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
@Tex I'm loving the choice in new career. St. Pauli are indeed some of the most rabid supporters out there. What I love about them is they stick up for the underpriveleged, and they're very outspoken against homophobia, racism, sexism and other negative things. I was considering them a while ago but could never get on board with their brown kits, but I think you will have a wonderful time with them! Fantastic choice.
@Rabbit I've been waiting for this update for a long time, as I bet many others have been as well. Great to see you romping your way through the league, and that win against Leverkusen was magnificent. What I love about your academy is the diverse mix of nationalities. You're the first person I've seen to scout Saudi Arabia and get some good players out of it. Oh, and beating Chelsea on spot kicks must have felt amazing, but I'd watch my back from now on...
@Moose I've been meaning to check out both your new video updates but haven't had the time. I'm really curious to see how things turned out in terms of goal of the season, awards, squad recap, etc. Should be able to give those a watch later tonight before starting up my own second season.
@Jamie FC4 is pretty much the best in the series so far, but I have to agree with Chico that SoM is pretty much THE game of the moment. If Dragon Age: Inquisition could sort out its bugs, it'd be even better IMO. First game I've played where dragon fights are a terrifying propsect. Oh, and I tore my Achilles playing cricket for my local club. Went down for an unnecessary scoop shot and felt it give, so I had to retire hurt. That was even worse than the injury, because it was the state semi-final, and I was on 163. We were six wickets down with 77 needed in 16 overs, and I was the last specialist batsman, but the other guy was an all-rounder, and one of the spinners came on and battered 50 in 33! Now we're in the final against our historic rivals, and I can't play. Hope we win!

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
hey guys ive been reading this thread for awhile now but i cant seem to stick to a career mode. I personally have no preference. Ive recently thought of starting one in every league I.E being a manager in Argentina then the next day or whatever start one in Australia and so on, and just keep going through them day by day and stuff oh and I also really liked the super lague idea with all the top teams in the english systemComment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
It's not as nice as Tex's, but here's my first go at a graphic update. That's my transfer business for the summer window. I don't think I'll be going with this long-term. It truly is time-consuming, and I also prefer to write out my updates. Next post will be a bit lengthy, but it will also include:
• Review of signed players
• Formation/tactics discussion
• Storylines for Gakpe, Djilobodji, Veretout, Cataldi, Knockaert
• Press conference discussing Marseille, Zulte-Waregem
• Youth academy update
All my updates (matches/player stories/club developments) will no longer be from the third-person perspective of a newspaper/football website, but from myself as manager of the club in the first person. I was thinking about Moose's last video of the season, and how gripping it was to hear him talk about the Everton game as manager of West Ham, so I'm going to be following that same method. Reading match reports and player stories is boring without the boss' view on things, which is something we are all privy to as fellow managers (except Cruzerr, who's just a wee player).

Oh, so you're calling everyone's updates boring because we post from a reporter's point of view? Not cool, not cool at all. Now you are going to make me change my update style (which has been always the same, maybe a change is needed?). Speaking of which, I'll try to post a ManU update today or tomorrow. I might write it from the manager's view.-Simppu12-

I also can't see the picture but I'm on my phone like Keano. How do you make those kind of images and how do you post them here? I have tried a few times to edit photos in Paint but I can never post them here.
