Well, I'm back from holidays now so a Palace could (should really) be up in the next few days.

I've read everyone's updates but there's too much to comment on so I'll just be a bit general. Everyone is doing really well. Congrats to you Moose on winning the title and those are some interesting transfer targets. Tex Great achievement on getting into the playoffs in your first season in the Championship. Anything can happen now. Luke You have kicked on now in the Bundesliga, keep it up! To all you others. May you all enjoy your careers until '16! (Or in your case Jamie your others games. [emoji14])

Yeah, not the greatest start but we got on well in the cup at least. I have no option to buy on Ayhan because he's not someone I'm looking to keep long-term. Douglas is a really fantastic player at a ridiculously good price. Same goes for Bernardeschi and Cataldi! The board wants me to win the title and that's what I aim to do. We will strengthen in January with the budget we have left, and I expect to make a few million more by selling a couple of players who don't fit my style. I think I can pick up 3 or 4 of the guys I want in that window.

Francomb found Barker on the left side of the box and he turned outside and fired his shot past the keeper on the near post. Moussa played a perfect ball through and Vetokele beat the keeper to the ball and slotted it past him inside the right post. Jackson sent a cross into the box and Vetokele rose above the defender and headed it back inside the near post for the lead. Francomb played it to Tubbs outside of the box and he dribbled through the defense and powered a show into the top right corner for the equalizer.

Adams dribbled across the edge of the box and then found Pack unmarked in the middle where he trapped the ball and turned to fire into the top right corner. Hauche whipped a cross in from the left wing and Aristogrieta rose up to head it off the crossbar and in for an equalizer. Butler's shot from the middle of the box hit off the right post and Jamieson slid in to knock the ball in off the rebound. Jamieson played the ball through the defenders legs for Pack on the left side of goal and he pulled the ball back to lay it off for Russell to power into the net on the back post.

Hauche sent a cross in form the left wing and Adryan ran in unmarked to the near post and volleyed it off the far post and in to give Leeds some hope for the day. Pack cut the ball into the box and took it towards the end line before playing it low across the box for Murhpy to tap in on the back post. Pack then found Murhpy going down the left side of the box and he quickly sent it across the goal for Jamieson to tap in to give Portsmouth the lead and take all hope away from Leeds as Portsmouth advanced to the promotion final.

Manager Comments

Successful Season - Finishing 4th in our first year after promotion is something to be excited about. We put ourselves in a spot that gave us a chance to fight for promotion. We will aim higher next year and hope to finally make that jump back up to the Premier League where I firmly believe this club belongs.

Promotion Playoffs - We took apart Leeds easily even after they gave us trouble during the season. The Premier League was only 1 game away, but Smith got himself sent off just 13 minutes into the final, and nothing went our way after that. We had the chance right in front of us, but playing with 10 men is never easy, and Burnley deserved the win on that night. Being so close and falling short only makes us want that promotion just that much more.

Season Preparations - Getting so close only means there is no rest for me. The next season begins now. We have two good players joining us on free transfers, and we will continue to look for ways to strengthen the squad. The supporters can rest assured that we will be better.

A near perfect month with 2 wins and a draw which sees us remain top of the league. The 4-0 thrashing of Freiburg was an excellent result with 4 different players getting on the score sheet, however it was perhaps defender Gerog Teigl who stole the show, helping to protect the clean sheet as well as assisting twice. FC Koln have been a tough side to beat this season so I wasn’t too disappointed to get a draw. It wasn’t the most eventful game so neither manager can have any complaints about the result. Mainz have always been a tricky team to play against and it looked set to be heading for a second draw of the month until Helmersen came on an changed the game, netting two goals in the second half to secure all 3 points.

Weigl is a player I have been scouting since the start of the season and we tried to sign him in the summer but couldn’t come to an agreement with his club at the time. We see Weigl as a player who can not only come into our team straight away but is also someone we can develop into a real talent and at £1,750,000 it was a deal that we simply couldn’t refuse. Weigl is a player who not only can pass a ball but also has the ability to break the play up which fits perfectly into our style of play and will prove to be a shrewd bit of business for the club.

What a month this was, similar to that of the start of the current season. 3 wins out of 4 is a good month by any standards but when those wins include victories over teams such as Bayern, Wolfsburg and Levurkusen it makes it that little bit sweeter. We were terrific this month and it pleases me even more that we have a variety of players really stepping up on the big occasions. The Wolfsburg game was a terrific game for the neutral with 7 goals being shared between the 2 sides. Once we went 3-2 up Wolfsburg really went for it and it played into our hands then and we were able to kill the game off. We seem to struggle against Schalke for some reason so a draw wasn’t the worst result for us. Then came the big win against Bayern. I felt we were always comfortable and we never panicked even after they equalised as we knew that we had the quality to match them. Draxler’s cool finish decided the game in the end which puts us on course for European football next season.

We currently sit top of the table on 54 points with Eint.Frankfurt in second on 48 points, both sides having wonderful seasons so far. We seemed to have taken advantage of the sloppy starts made by the top clubs and this could put us on course for the clubs first Bundelsiga title. Although there is a lot of talent in this squad I am still a bit surprised as to how well we are doing this season. We have stayed consistent for the majority of the season and that is why we are where we are. Whilst the so called bigger clubs were struggling at the start of the season we managed to pick up the points and the scheduling of fixtures seemed to help as well after getting the harder fixtures out of the way early on. Now it is up to us to keep this form going until the end of the season and who knows, we could be lifting that Bundesliga title come May.

I have an important question for you. I was just looking at some of my old careers and I decided to play a couple of games in my Hertha save. I enjoyed it and now I'd like to continue posting the career here which would mean that he Valencia one would be put on hold. The question is which one do you prefer to see here? Sam Byram is an amazing all-round player. He has an ********* work rate and can handle himself on and off the ball. He’s resilient, quick and also strong which is what we’ve needed in our back line. He’s our record signing and hopefully he will give us the biggest output, defensively and offensively.

Cedrick Mabwati is an extremely quick and agile player that will be playing on the left of the attacking midfielders to replace Allassani. I expect him to chip in with goals from time to time and I'm looking for the vision to execute a pin-point pass which Allassani lacked at times.

Moussa Dembélé will be our replacement support in case Jake Sinclair is forced off. The former-Fulham striker is very well-rounded and will be able to score with both his feet and head.

Lucas Magallán is looking like a very promising defender. Originally at Barcelona, he was playing in the under-21 team but his talent for dispossessing his opponent attracted us to him.

Lassane Bangoura and James Ward-Prowse will be welcome additions to the team next year and will surely provide class and reputation to the club.

Cabee, you are a genius when it comes to adding details and new stuff to your updates. I love what you did with the transfer window news and I can tell how much effort you've put into this. You did a spectacular job with the update! If you plan on doing this again I'd suggest adding some images and somehow separating the different bits of the rumours and news in another way. Also, I'd personally use more Sky Sports since they usually report every transfer and they are very active on deadline day. Once again, amazingly done! I hope that you do this again.

EDIT: Now that I think of the separation of bits in the texy maybe adding a few "***" here and there would get the job done.

I'm glad you'll do this again! What I meant by adding pictures is that you could add some pictures of the players you are signing or some images about the clubs or stuff like that. It would add a bit of colours and details because now it's only text. What you said is also cool and clever.

I was not too sure about what transfers to do this season, so I looked at bringing in some youth players, rather than first team players.

January was a very up and down month for us. We beat West Ham in a thrilling 4-3 match but lot to Chelsea and went out of the cup in a bad way against Arsenal. We did however achieve our cup aim of reaching the round of 16 buy entering the semi-finals, so it was a good run for us. We didnt have the best transfer window this season with hardly any transactions but that will all change next season. We will find out who is playing well and who is a liability, and have a sort our in the coming summer.

February was essentially a successful month for us, apart from being demolished by Liverpool at the end. We drew against tottenham, battered Manchester United in possesion and overall peformance and got a good win again Villa. Emnes has emerged as one of the best players this season. In recent weeks, the goals from Eder has dried up, but Emnes has kept on going and could even win the golden boot for the premier league! Despite our poor defensive record, we seem to have no trouble scoring goals which is amazing and as been of great importance this season.

Not too long now until the end of the season. The next update will conclude the season with the final 3 months of March, April and May. Thanks for reading
