Great finish to an excellent season. Finishing 5th is wonderful, you're going into Europe! The top scorer list looks weird though, Sigurdsson and Eriksen in the top 3 top scorers, and Willy being one of the gk's with most clean sheets? Where did Hart go?

You're having quite a season so far. Some games have been tough, though. But you're looking good, sitting 5th in the league. Hopefully you can push for a Champions League spot! Would be an amazing accomplishment in your first season. Good result against the Bayern Juggernaut, drawing away from home is impressive! Keep it up!

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

OkDoei's Arsenal FC Career Mode. Season 1.

      Loads of Arsenal games!

      Arsenal 2 – 2 Chelsea

      17’ Pedro 0 – 1
      21’ Giroud 1 – 1
      29’ Fabregas 1 – 2
      89’ Lucas 2 – 2

      Match Report:

Lucas has been excellent this game, setting up the goal for Giroud and scoring the late 2 – 2. What a dramatic match defensively. We gave it away, espescially with the free kick that Fabregas scored. In no match we should make any fouls in that area. This is something that we need to learn from. We’re playing Chelsea again in a few days, so let’s put our best shift in.

      INJURY NEWS:

Walcott has broken his ankle after a horrible tackle by Azpilicueta. The Spanish fullback didn’t receive a card, but he should’ve been send off. He went on with his charge even after the ball was out of the field, and Walcott couldn’t get out of the way. He will miss the rest of the season, as he will be unavailable for at least 3 months. Shocker.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been recalled from his loan spell, as Marseille agreed with a €1 Million payment to cancel out his loan spell. I’m glad that Marseille didn’t make a huge deal out of it, and I’m glad that Alex is back with us. Now that Walcott will miss the rest of the season, the Ox will get enough game time.

      Chelsea 0 – 1 Arsenal
      (FA Cup)

      90+’ Icardi 0 – 1

      Match Report:

Lucas absolutely tore the whole Chelsea defence apart time after time. He has been excellent this afternoon, and he assisted Icardi in his very, very late goal. I’m very happy with this performance. We finally won against Chelsea.

      Arsenal 2 – 0 Southampton

      5’ Lucas 1 – 0 Penalty Kick
      85’ Icardi 2 – 0

      Match Report:

I made sure that Lucas would take the penalty because he deserved a goal after his two world class matches against Chelsea. We played a good match at our home turf, and we never really got into trouble. Long was dangerous with his pacey movement, but we handled him pretty well.

      Arsenal 1 – 1 Leicester City

      51’ Icardi 1 – 0
      78’ Okazaki 1 – 1 Penalty Kick

      Match Report:

No words for this. We’ve dropped two points because of a silly penalty. Rugani hasn’t impressed me so far, and he really needs to step his game up instead of giving away cheap fouls. We have lost the connection to Chelsea. We’ll have to focus on the top 3 places.

      Arsenal 1 – 1 Lyon
(Champions League last 16, knockout stage)

      13’ Beauvue 0 – 1
      42’ Giroud 1 – 1

      Match Report:

Absolute horrible match. Unbelievable. They have their away goal, and we were absolutely toothless in front of goal. We barely created anything. Giroud’s shot in the 39th minute was our first change. I’m glad that Giroud scored minutes later to at least give us some hope. Horrible, just horrible.

      INJURY NEWS:

Mesut Özil got injured in the match against Lyon. He landed badly on his shoulder after a duel. He’ll be unable to play for about 4 weeks. Another shock.

      Sunderland 1 – 2 Arsenal
      (Capital One Cup Final)

      17’ Cattermole 1 – 0
      21’ Alexis 1 – 1
      80’ Alexis 1 – 2

      Match Report:

We’ve won our first price of the season! We started this final in the most horrible way, conceding another sloppy goal. Luckily Alexis’ brace made sure that we’d be able to win our first trophy this season. I’m happy with this, and hopefully many more trophies will follow up soon.

      Arsenal 2 – 2 Swansea City

      16’ Sigurdsson 0 – 1
      34’ Icardi 1 – 1 Penalty Kick
      40’ Sigurdsson 1 – 2 Penalty Kick
      90+’ Icardi 2 – 2

      Match Report:

I’ve got no clue what has happened to us. We’re losing so many points in this last stage of the season. We don’t deserve to be the champions if we continue playing football this way. We really need to sort our defensive problems out. Luckily Icardi scored a brace to seal one point.

      Tottenham Hotspur 1 – 4 Arsenal

      11’ Onomah 1 – 0
      15’ Alexis 1 – 1 Penalty Kick
      25’ Giroud 1 – 2
      89’ Giroud 1 – 3
      90+’ Giroud 1 – 4

      Match Report:

Finally, a world class performance! We had to wait a little while to see the real Arsenal. Giroud grabbed the team’s first hattrick this season, and he did it in style. Giroud is just unbeatable in the air. It’s so difficult to choose between him and Icardi.

      Manchester United 0 – 0 Arsenal

      Match Report:

I almost fell asleep this afternoon. Both teams were very tired. Neither of them could create any changes, and it was the 90th minute before anyone noticed it. Very dull match, but I’m quite happy with this point. It could’ve easily went the wrong way seeing as how unlucky we’ve been recently.

      Arsenal 3 - 0 West Bromwich Albion

      24’ Campbell 1 – 0
      34’ Campbell 2 – 0
      87’ Icardi 3 – 0
      90+’ Wilshere red card

      Match Report:

Campbell took his change. We’ve been playing with a B team filled with youth players this match. We’ve played so many games recently that my key players are tired and not up to it. Luckily West Bromwich didn’t stand a chance against Campbell’s place on the counter attacks.

      Lyon 0 – 0 Arsenal
(Champions League last 16, knockout stage)

      Match Report:

So that’s that…We have been knocked out of the Champions League in the first round. No words for this, I’m absolutely gutted and angry right now. I’ve got no clue how we gave this away. Horrible.

      Arsenal 3 – 0 Swansea City
      (FA cup)
      Simulated

      Arsenal 1 – 1 Watford
      20’ Abdi 0 – 1
      49’ Özil 1 – 1

      Match Report:

We don’t deserve our place in the table. We’re still second behind Chelsea, but we do not deserve this place. We’ve been dreadful, just dreadful the past few weeks. We really need to turn this season around. Luckily the board still has some faith in me, but it’s thin. And understandable. We were nowhere our high standards these past few weeks.

      /little rant
..So that’s that. Horrible few months for us. Knocked out of the Champions League very early, and giving it away in the BPL. We genuinely don’t deserve the second spot right now. I’ve been getting angry at Fifa because I fail to understand how for instance Watford can draw against me with only 1 shot at goal, whilst I’m having at least 12 shots. Every match their goalkeeper turns into Superman. Annoying.
      /rant off

I’ll be playing the final games soon, so I’ll keep you guys updated. Excuse my bitterness.

        January 2016

        Transfers In

        Marco Höger

77 Ovr, Central Midfielder, 26 Years Old, Germany

        Bosman Transfer

Just like in the summer, Hertha BSC completed only two signings in the winter transfer window. One of them was Marco Höger who will join the Old Lady in the summer after his current contract with Schalke 04 runs out. The versatile midfielder is equipped with a lot of stamina and he will slot well into Hertha's double pivot in midfield.

        Stefan Aigner

77 Ovr, Right Midfielder, 28 Years Old, Germany

        €7,000,000 + Sami Allagui

The other player who was brought in by Hertha Berlin was Stefan Aigner from Eintracht Frankfurt. The 28-year-old arrived for a sum of seven million euros and Sami Allagui, who hadn't gotten much playing time this season. The speedy and skillful Aigner, who is most comfortable up top or as a right winger, will strengthen Hertha's wings with his passing, dribbling and shooting abilities.

        ***

        Hertha BSC 3 - 2 FC Augsburg
        Stocker 45', Baumjohann 80', Kalou 90' pen
        Baier 3', Altintop 74'

What a comeback! Augsburg started the game by scoring with their first chance as Baier headed the ball into the net with a diving header. Right before the halftime whistle Valentin Stocker equalised with a beautifully strucked rebound shot from about eleven yards out. In the 74th minute Augsburg took the lead again with Halil Altintop's goal after a corner kick. Just six minutes later Alexander Baumjohann equalised after intercepting a backpass. In stoppage time Baumjohann got taken down in the box and Salomon Kalou slotted the following penalty in for the three points.

        Werder Bremen 2 - 1 Hertha BSC
        Fritz 20', Johannsson 64'
        Haraguchi 45'

Bremen's Fritz scored first with a near-post shot. Genki Haraguchi managed to equalise before the break from Stefan Aigner's pass but twenty minutes into the second half Aron Johannsson made it 2-1 for Werder with a beautiful outside of the foot longshot.

        February 2016

        Hertha BSC 0 - 2 Borussia Dortmund
        Reus 26' pen, Mkhitaryan 89'

The scoreline doesn't reflect what happened on the pitch. We had a good chance of getting a point out of the game until Borussia Dortmund took control again in the 85th minute. Reus' penalty before the half an hour mark was well strucked into the top right of the net. Mkhitaryan doubled the lead in the 89th minute by cutting in from the right and curling the ball into the far corner.

        VfB Stuttgart 1 - 0 Hertha BSC
        Harnik 26'

This was a very disappointing and dull game. The only goal came in the 26th minute when Martin Harnik shot the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal with his first touch. We also lost Marvin Plattenhardt, our starting left back, to an injury for 8 weeks.

        Hertha BSC 1 - 1 VfL Wolfsburg
        Ibisevic 60' pen
        Rodriguez 90'

We threw away our lead against the league leaders in the last minutes of the game, when Niklas Stark tackled poorly Naldo in the box. Other than that the team performed well.

        FC Köln 3 - 1 Hertha BSC
        Osako 26', Olkowski 35', Lustenberger OG 43'
        Stocker 22'

Oh my, what a terrible match to make our winless streak five games long. The game started well with Rune Jarstein making two amazing saves and with Valentin Stocker hitting a no-look volley into the net. This turned into hell only in a few minutes, though, as Osako equalised with a first-time shot. Just ten minutes later Köln passed the ball through our box to Olkowski who shot it past Jarstein. Under then minutes later the ball took a deflection off our captain Fabian Lustenberger to make it three for Köln. On top of that Salomon Kalou missed a penalty in the second half and the game was over. Interestingly, we haven't won since Aigner joined the team.

        Bundesliga Table

        1. VfL Wolfsburg, 54 pts
        2. Bayern München, 49 pts
        3. Borussia Dortmund, 46 pts
        4. Borussia Mönchengladbach, 44 pts
        5. Hertha BSC, 37 pts
        6. Bayer Leverkusen, 35 pts
        --------------------------------------------------
        16. 1899 Hoffenheim, 22 pts
        17. FC Ingolstadt, 22 pts
        18. SV Darmstadt, 5 pts

          West Ham Season 2

          West Ham Badge.png
          Budget - £49,500,000
          Wage Budget - £240,000
Objectives - Qualify for Europa League, Round of 16 of Cup, Win Europa League

          Transfers
          Transfers Out.png
Only 1 real shock departure which is that of Adrian especially after signing a new deal at the start of the season which saw him joint top earner with Payet. However when Bayern come in it was an opportunity that he wished to take and I wasn't going to stand in the way of that as he gave everything for this club last season and deserves every bit of success he gets. When Bayern agreed to pay the £20,000,000 buyout Adrian was free to join the Bundesliga side. We wish him all the best in the future. The other shock departures saw Enner Valencia and Michail Antonio used in swap deals and both players didn't impress me at all last season so this was a win for all parties involved.

          Transfers In.png
I was happy with the business we conducted in the window. We will start with the big deals. After Adrian sold we invested all of the money back into a keeper and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen fit the bill perfectly. A young, talented keeper who will only keep improving and after a few days of negotiating we both us and Barca agreed on a £20,000,000 fee and we are delighted with the signing who should give us some European experience as well. Out marquee signing of the window is a player who I am a huge fan of, Alen Halilovic and at £20,000,000 I saw this as a complete steal. He has the complete package he can assist, score goals, go round defenders and at 20 years of age, still has many years to come. I can see him being a natural replacement for Payet in years to come and I am over the moon with this signing.

          Barclays Premier League Matchday 4
          Sunderland 1 - 2 West Ham
          SUN - 30' S.Larsson
          WHU - 5' 45' C.Austin

          Manager's Thought's
Transfers - We managed to pull of some real good deals in the window and have made an instant impact, Austin 3 goals, Mahrez 2 goals 1 assists and are improving game after game. I look forward to working with the players who were signed later on in the window and I'm sure they can have the same impact as the earlier signings. I was sad to see Adrian go, he was a top lad and a real fan favourite but it was a move that I just couldn't stand in the way of, a once in a lifetime oppurtunity and I'm sure he will be a success at the Bundesliga giants. However, I feel we got just as good a keeper in if not better in Ter Stegen who is a future Germany #1 that's for sure and hopefully he can enjoy similar success to that of Adrian last season. I was hoping to bring in another striker but with Austin in form I have decided to hold off until January but the scouting for Janaury has already got underway.

Europa League - We got through the group stages of the Europa League and this was not an easy task. Aalborg put up a real fight and are extremly unlucky not to have scored over the 2 legs but that's football sometimes, you dont always get what you deserve and it was us who progressed. Our group consists of Vitesse, Austria Wien & Benfica so it's by no means an easy group. The aim is to put a strong team out for the first 3 games and try and get 9 points from 9 which should be enough to see us through and then I can give the youngsters a bit of a run out but it will be easier said than done.

The League - We have had a good start to the Barclays Premier League with 3 wins and 1 draw in August although I wasn't entierly pleased with the performances in some of those games but the new players need time to get to know the squad and over time i'm sure the performances will get better and better. We are aiming for that europa league spot this season so we need to ensure that we perform consistently over the course of the season and it will be much harder this year due to the huge sums of money spent by Premier Leaugue clubs this summer, everyone from newly promoted to Premier League Champions Strgenthing significantly. Mahrez, Payet and Austin have had a flying start to the season, Payet 1 goal 3 assists, Austin 3 goals and Mahrez 2 goals 1 assists. It looks like a lethal partnership and their link up play is phenomenal, hopefully this form of theirs doesnt end anytime soon.

Thanks for Reading, Any Comments are Appreciated

OkDoei's Arsenal FC Career Mode. Season 1.

the last games of Arsenal’s season.

            West Ham United 1 – 0 Arsenal

            65’ Payet

            Match Report:

..And we’re continuing our poor form. West Ham were superior at their home turf, and we couldn’t create any changes. We really gave it away this season. We still have the best defensive record, but we really should start finishing changes. And creating changes, that is. I’m slowly thinking towards the summer transfer window because I’m not happy with my current midfielders. They really need to step their game up.

            Arsenal 2 – 0 West Ham United
            (FA Cup)
            Simulated

            Everton 0 – 1 Arsenal

            54’ Icardi 0 – 1

            Match Report:

So we’re finally winning games again. We only scored one goal, but winning away from home is good enough. Especially against Everton which is a strong side at Goodinson park. Icardi is finding the back of the net again, which is something that we need more frequently.

            Sunderland 0 – 1 Arsenal

            86’ Giroud 0 – 1 Penalty Kick

            Match Report:

Still winning away from home. At least we’re finishing our games now. We created nothing this afternoon, but that penalty kick was fully deserved. Lucas broke through the Sunderland’s defence. Their last defender decided to take him out, which resulted in a penalty for us. Giroud scored it, which would give him some much needed confidence.

            Arsenal 4 – 1 Norwich City

            58’ Lucas 1 – 0
            61’ Icardi 2 – 0
            73’ M’bokani 2 – 1
            84’ Icardi 3 – 1
            90+’ Lucas 4 – 1

            Match Report:

Finally! Finally we’re scoring loads of goals again. We’re creating changes and Icardi is finishing them. He’s on the brink of gaining his first team spot. If he keeps scoring like this then I have no other choice but to drop Giroud.

            Arsenal 3 – 0 Crystal Palace

            16’ Alexis 1 – 0
            23’ Giroud 2 – 0
            77’ Rosicky 3 – 0

            Match Report:

Looks like we’re back on our old form! We’ve been scoring loads in the past two games, which makes me a very happy man. Let’s continue this winning way. We’re finally creating changes again.

            Manchester City 1 – 5 Arsenal

            3’ de Bruyne 1 – 0
            27’ Icardi 1 – 1
            45’ Lucas 1 – 2
            51’ Özil 1 – 3
            75’ Icardi 1 – 4
            90+’ Icardi 1 – 5

            Match Report:

Unbelievable! We just scored 5 goals past City! And Icardi got his first hattrick for the club. He has certainly gained a starting eleven spot now, he’s our top scorer and probably our best attacking player. We didn’t start too well, conceding after just 3 minutes. We need to look at that.

            Arsenal 3 – 0 Aston Villa

            11’ Özil 1 – 0
            70’ Icardi 2 – 0
            90+’ Icardi 3 – 0

            Match Report:

No offense to Giroud, but Icardi stole the show. He has shown Giroud that he should be starting and he has been scoring for fun lately. Giroud started this match but wasted multiple changes. Icardi started playing in the 65th minute and scored twice afterwards. That’s what I want my strikers to do.

It’s the end of the season as well. We’ve only got the FA Cup final left.

            Arsenal 5 – 2 Hull City
            (FA Cup Final)

            21’ Carvalho 1 – 0
            24’ Icardi 2 – 0
            30’ Icardi 3 – 0
            34’ Lucas 4 – 0
            45+’ Icardi 5 – 0
            70’ Adama 5 – 1
            90+’ Abel 5 – 2

            Match Report:

We’ve done it! We won the FA Cup! What a first half performance. We absolutely destroyed them in every corner of the field. And Oh man, Icardi has been proving me right. Scoring a hattrick against City, just to score another hattrick in the FA Cup final. What a genius. If he keeps developing and scoring, imagine what kind of world class striker we would have. He’s already world class in my eyes. Only negative part is the fact that we conceded twice so late in the game. But it’s understandable.

            BAD NEWS:
Laurent Koscielny has informed the club that he wants to leave! I gave him a better contract but he refused. He wants to go to a new club, probably one of the top 3 clubs (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich).

            STANDOUT PLAYER:

            Mauro Icardi

I wasn’t too sure about whom to pick. I decided to go for Icardi instead of Cech. What I want to do is show you Icardi’s statistics this season, because he’s been excellent. Goal machine.

            Overall:
            44 Games Played
            33 Goals Scored

            Goals scored in:

            Fa Cup:
            6 Games Played

            SEASON REVIEW

I’ve written down every players’ current overall and I’m writing a short review about the player. I’ll rate them on how they performed this season.

            Starting eleven:

Petr Cech (88) – Our stand out performer every game. Kept us safe in so many matches. Unbelievable goalkeeper. One of our best signings ever. Rating: 9/10

Héctor Bellerín (75) – Bellerín turned out to be one of my favourite players even though the fact that Debuchy started over him in the first half of our season. Even though his rating isn’t the best he’s still performing. He’s fast, and a good passer of the ball. His defensive work can be better, as he really needs to work on his tackles. Rating: 7/10

Per Mertesacker (82) – I’m not sure about him. He performed okay in most games, but turned out the be the weak point in others. He’s solid, though. Whenever he played in defence we conceded less and looked more confident in the back. Rating: 6/10

Laurent Koscielny (84) – even though the fact that he handed in his transfer request I still like this man. He was shockingly bad in the first few games, but after a little while he stepped up his game. Not the strongest in the air, but unbeatable on the ground. Rating: 6.5/10

            Nacho Monreal (82)
            – Wow, I never thought that he would blow me away. He’s so solid defensively and pacey enough to keep up with most wingers. His ball movement really improved this season and his crosses are just perfect. Rating: 8/10

William Carvalho (84) – So solid. Never played a bad game for me. He didn’t start in the games against the smaller clubs, but he did do an excellent job against the big boys. He’s very strong and tall, quite pacey and a decent dribbler. But what impressed me the most is his ball movement. He’s surprisingly good at passing the ball and even giving long balls. He only scored twice this season, but it’s not his job to score goals. Rating: 7.5/10

Santi Cazorla (86) – Not too sure about the little Spaniard. He played as a CM for most of the time and that’s simply not his position. He’s too little to do anything there. His passes on the other hand split every defence wide open. His dribbling is really good, and he’s so composed while dribbling. He’s better at CAM, though. I might bring in another CM this summer to give Santi a bit more rest between games. Rating: 7/10

Mesut Özil (87) – He was absolutely horrible for the first half of the season. The only reason that I let him start every match was because I thought that he would finally turn things around. He gained a bit of form recently but still not impressive. I might look for a replacement this summer. Rating: 5/10

Lucas (83) – What a monster! Bringing him in January was the best thing I could do. He’s so quick and agile on the ball, and his dribbling is so entertaining. He tore so many defences apart and outplayed so many fullbacks that I’ve lost the count. Rating: 8.5/10

Icardi (81) – I wasn’t too sure about him in the beginning. He did score goals but his overall performance wasn’t that impressive. He lost his starting spot soon after to Giroud who offered a bit more. All of that changed when Icardi started scoring loads of goals and actually playing really well with Lucas. They connect very well together. Rating: 9/10

Alexis (88) – our best player; at least on paper. He was so inconsistent. He could break the hardest defences down, but he could also look very lost against mediocre fullbacks. I won’t replace him, though. His work rate makes up for it. Rating: 6/10

            Substitutes:
Giroud (82) – Decent season for him. He scored quite some goals but was never the go to guy. Rating: 6/10

Riedewald (79) – amazing development. Had some ups and downs this season. Still unsure what his best position is. Rating: 6.5/10

Mendy (78) – a decent signing in the January window. Certainly better than Gibbs has played. He’s a good back up for Monreal and has done a good job. Rating: 7/10

Oxlade (80) – Loaned out to Marseille to give him game time. Got recalled when Walcott got injured for 3 months. Has done a decent job. Very inconsistent, though. Rating: 6/10

Coquelin(80) – never a starting player but consistent. Did his job whenever he played. Rating: 7/10

Ramsey (83) – he could start for us, maybe he should as well. Looked very good in most matches but invisible in others. Rating: 7/10

Gabriel (79) – Not too sure about him. He’s good in the air, but a bit weird on the ground. He never impressed me. Rating: 6/10

Wilshere (82) – I wanted to get rid of him in January. He didn’t impress me afterwards, but he has been better. I’m thinking about giving him a second change. Rating: 6/10

Walcott (83) – our best player the first half of the season. Got absolutely destroyed by Azpilicueta which ruined his season. He came back quite strong but never as good as he was at the start. Rating: 7/10

Campbell (78) – did his job whenever asked to. Decent back up winger. Rating: 5.5/10

Debuchy (81) – he developed quite good recently but after losing his starting spot to Bellerín he never impressed me. Lacks pace and fast ball movement to really maintain his starting eleven spot. He’s decent defensively. Rating: 6/10

You finished the season well, 2nd and an FA Cup win is respectable and very like Arsenal last season. Icardi and Lucas were great signings. I had a thought on your CAM/CM dilemma. Maybe sell on Ozil, move Santi to CAM and bring in Ramsey/Wilshere at CM. Shame that Kos wants to leave although you'll surely get a big sum for him.

I am considering getting rid of thr west ham career, I'll keep the save but it was meant to ease me into fifa 16 more than anything.
I have decided to do another Rosenborg career like I did on 15, I really enjoyed that but not sure whether to buy only Norweigian players again or branch out?
                What do you guys think?

Your west ham career seems to be fun and you've bought some original players. I've never seen anyone who uses Charlie Austin But after all, it's just up to you. If you're not having fun then you should try something else. I would like the idea of Rosenborg with a strict transfer policy.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

Guys, I'm going to pause my Arsenal career. I'm having second thoughts and I'm not liking it as much as I thought I would. I kind of ruined it for myself as well, since I spend 130M in the summer transfer period. I might've brought too many players in and my team just feels overpowered now, lol.

It feels like an obligation to play right now, and that's not how my career should be. on top of that I usually don't play career modes with big powerhouses like Arsenal. I'm used to getting a team to struggle with in the beginning and to slowly built them into a gigantic powerhouse. Which is probably what I'll be doing soon.

Which brings a problem. I usually simulate a lot of games in my career modes. My Arsenal career is the first one where I played almost every match. The problem is that I still want to give you guys an update about my (new) career mode(s) but I don't know how. When I simulate most of the games the updates will be kind of dull, I think. Anyone got a solution for that?

Finally, I'm probably going to start a career mode with 1. Fc Nürnberg. They're in the Bundesliga 2. I'm going to try them out because EA added the Bundesliga 1 and 2 licenses this year.

Let me know what I should do with the updates!

Finally picked up the game off the Xbox store yesterday night but haven't yet had a chance to play. I'm currently at work wrapping up a print campaign for Nestle, and then I have a long weekend ahead of me — Friday to Tuesday inclusive! I expect to get a lot of slider testing done today and tomorrow, and then get down to starting a career with Bournemouth or one of the smaller European teams over the next four days. Any tips for me?

First time there is real optimism around the club. I manged to find some here giving 100/1 on west ham to finish top 4 thought it was worth at least £10, if we can stop the individual errors and improve our home form I think we can get that 4th spot. It's a long shot but I feel we actually have a squad to compete this year and when you have Payet anything is possible.
What is your take on Allardyce? I thought he was fantastic for you guys, from the outside of course. I know a lot of WHU fans wanted to see a more exciting brand of football, but I always thought Big Sam is the kind of guy who adapts to what's in front of him, and provides safety and stability. That way, are you satisfied with the style Bilic has brought in so far? Payet is a huge upgrade on Downing, and once Valencia is back to full fitness, the combination of those two will be very fruitful indeed.

Allardyce looks very intelligent to me, tbh. I loved him on MOTD, he really looks like he knows what he's talking about. He has football knowledge, is quite humble but is smart in adapting his team. Too bad that West Ham didn't want to go on with him.

I actually didn't mind big Sam, he achieved everything he said he would but for whatever reason he just didn't connect with the fans. I never once heard sam allardcye's claret and blue army chanted once in all the time he was there even at Wembley after thr playoff final.
West ham fans do tend to forget that at the start of last season we were playing yhr best football we had played in a very long time but we have been unlucky with injuries in recent season which had an impact on Allardcye's results which just gave an excuse for west ham fans to want him out. I am glad he is gone though, in Bilic we have a manager who understands what the fans want and plays the football that us west ham fans demand. He has used the market well and Payet could be our best signings ever, we haven't had a player as exciting as him (excluding king Tevez) since Benayoun left and we have been crying out for a playmaker for years now.
