Wow this is awesome! Looking forward to seeing how this plays out. At first I thought you would've just picked the worst club in League 2 but this is even better. Which club did you put all these players in? Must've taken forever not only to find the players but also to swap them in.

I went to the Mexico-USA match this past weekend and man what a match! Well worth the 5 hour drive to get up there! Both teams gave it their all for a ticket to the 2017 Confederations Cup.

Founded in 1922, York City Football Club are based in the city of York, North Yorkshire. The "Minstermen" have participated in League Two, the English 4th division since 2012-13 after gaining promotion from the Conference Premier.

        Summer transfer window 2015 arrives

Currently sitting in 9th on the Football League Two table, York City's season so far can only be explained as being about as consistent as expired milk. After collecting 6 wins to begin the season in a 9 game unbeaten run, results began to slip as player injuries took their toll.
Amongst various knocks and muscle strains, Wes Fletcher broke his tailbone in preseason and has only just rejoined the team in recent weeks while Michael Coulson (torn calf muscle), Bradley Halliday (Broken Metatarsal) and Keith Lowe (Broken Toe) remain sidelined.
Shaun Miller leads the goal scoring with 9 next to his name while Josh Carson has been in very good form all season on the right hand side.
3 points from 5th-7th and 8 points away from Oxford United in the third and final automatic spot, promotion is well in reach with a bit of consistency in results.
The transfer window will be used to look for some left footed players, especially in midfield. With finances being tight, any additions will likely be loan deals until the end of the season.

          Summer transfer window 2015 deals

          Done Deals
          Ryan Tafazolli (CB, 61, 23yo) - Pre-Contract from Mansfield Town (750/4years)
A left footed central defender standing at 6'4, the former Southampton youth product will bring some much needed height to the defence when he arrives next season.

          Ryan Jarvis (ST, 58, 28yo) - 90 000 to Blackpool
Ryan Joined York in 2013-14 from Torquay United and made 35 appearances for the club in that time, scoring 8 times. This season however he has found opportunities hard to come by after the offseason additions of Miller and Fletcher and asked to be transfer listed.
We wish him all the best for the future.

          Michael Ingham (GK, 57, 34yo) - 50 000 to Morecambe
A veteran of 246 games for the Minstermen, Michael lost his place between the sticks last season that he had occupied since joining from Hereford and recently asked for a move to continue his career. He was a vital member of our successful promotion campaign out out the Conference Premier and even helped to maintain our status in League Two. A former captain and clubman of the year, we thank him for his time and services at the club and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

Ben Purrington (LB, 55, 18yo) - on loan from Plymouth Argyle
Joining York on loan for the remainder of the season, Ben is a promising young left back who has been in the Plymouth setup since the age of 9.

OkDoei's 1. FC Nürnberg Career Mode. Season 2.

Season 2, it’s about to get serious!

            TRANSFERS IN:

            Jan Kirchhoff

            Position: CDM, CB

BOUGHT FROM BAYERN MUNICH FOR €4.5 Million

Jan is a player who I just wanted to bring in as soon as possible. He’s a towering midfielder, physical and a good header. I felt that we need this kind of players if we want to achieve great things. Kirchhoff is a very good player, and still very young. The fact that we bought him for just 4.5 Million from Bayern shows that we’re not playing around. We want to sign the greatest players and achieve the greatest things. Kirchhoff will help us with that.

            Leroy 'Jenkins' Sané

            Position: LM, RM, ST

BOUGHT FROM SCHALKE 04 FC FOR €5.5 Million

What an excellent signing this is. Leroy is a fast and technical winger who will achieve great things at our club. He has bags of potential and is on a decent level already. He will be one of our star men this season, for sure.

            Vincent Janssen

            Position: ST

BOUGHT FROM AZ ALKMAAR FOR €2 Million

He’s fairly unknown outside of Holland, but this man will score the goals for us. He’s young, but strong and tall. He’s made for the Bundesliga and will become our leading man. He’ll make sure that we finish in the top half of the table. He’s our go-to guy.

            GAMES, GAMES, GAMES

            Werder Bremen 1 – 2 Nürnberg

            45+’ Gíslason 0 – 1
            85’ Johannsson 1 – 1

            Nürnberg 3 – 2 Borussia Dortmund

            7’ Gíslason 1 – 0
            40’ Aubameyang 1 – 1
            43’ Gíslason 2 – 1
            45+’ Aubameyang 2 – 2
            90+’ Schöpf 3 – 2

            Bayern Munich 0 – 3 Nürnberg

            56’ Janssen 0 – 1
            73’ Schöpf 0 – 2
            84’ Janssen 0 – 3

Wow, unbelievable. Winning against Dortmund and Bayern in back to back games is unbelievable. They dominated me throughout but just failed to score. I scored 3 past Bayern because Janssen made an world class debut. Scoring twice and assisting once, Bayern just didn’t know how to deal with him.

            Nürnberg 2 – 1 Eintracht Frankfurt

            55’ Gíslason 1 – 0
            73’ Janssen 2 – 0
            83’ Medojevic 2 – 1

QUICK MESSAGE; I’m simulating every Europa League match. My B team played every game in it. I’m in the Europa League because I won the Deutsche Pokal, but I won’t play the Europa League in my first season. Seems a bit unrealistic.

            INJURY NEWS:

Rúrik Gíslason is out for 2 months, with a major injury located near his foot. This is a big blow, because Gíslason was one of our best players.

So that’s it guys, these are all the games in the second season until the winter transfer window.

I’ll post the rest of the games either tonight or tomorrow.

            Current starting eleven: (433)

Hey guys. I've been away for a few months as I got bored with 15. Pro was too easy, but World Class was too hard. I couldn't find good sliders.

Anyway, World Class on 16 is perfect for me, and I'm about to start up a couple of careers. I will be commenting on all of yours as well.

Thank you! Yeah, I just wanted to make it as difficult for myself as possible so I had a look on sofifa and got all these awful players! I didn't know which team to go for so I just decided to go for a club with a nice crest so i went for Incheon United:

Thank god for Sofifa; made the time I took to make my team half of what it would have been!

The only thing that is going to be a real problem (appart from lack of quality) is the stamina of my players so hopefully i can get in some youth players to add a little more depth to the squad.

                  FIFA 15 - PS3 - Season 1

                  Daniele Rugani
                  67 Ovr/CB/20/Italy
                  €3m from Empoli

Daniele is one of the hottest prospects in Italian football. Italy prides itself on its defenders and the 20 year old has the potential to become a national stalwart alongside players like Giorgio Chiellini and Fabio Cannavaro.

                  Andrea Ranocchia
                  77 Ovr/CB/26/Italy
                  Pre-Contract from Inter

With other centre halves such as Lorik Cana and Michael Ciani now in their 30's, a younger centre half was in order to pair with De Vrij. The chief scout recommended Andrea Ranocchia of Inter who would be available on a Bosman. The 26 year old Italian quickly agreed a deal worth €90k a week from next season.

                  Stefano Mauri
                  76 Ovr/CAM/35/Italy
                  €2m to Atalanta

                  Santiago Gentiletti
                  70 Ovr/CB/30/Argentina
                  €1m to Sassuolo

                  Diego Novaretti
                  69 Ovr/CB/29/Argentina
                  €700k to Hellas Verona

All three players were surplus to requirements as we looked to reduce the overall age of the squad. We agreed a good deal with Atalanta for a player of Stefano's age while both Diego and Santiago were given the chance to stay in Italy and in Serie A.

                  Spent: €3m
                  Earned: €3.7m
                  Net Profit: €700k

                  Javi Martinez
€30m to Manchester City from FC Bayern

                  Jan Vertonghen
                  €14m to Everton from Tottenham

                  Alessio Cerci
                  €12m to Udinese from Torino

                  Lazio 2-1 Sampdoria
                  Klose 82' Candreva 89'
                  Palombo 41'

                  MOTM: Miroslav Klose (8.0)

Sampdoria took the lead through their captain Angelo Palombo just before halftime. The midfielder found himself with his back to Lorik Cana and he turned the Albanian easily before firing low past Marchetti. Our keeper had made some important stops before this and there was nothing he could have done. Klose forced a good stop from Viviano and Cana headed over to start the second half. Gonzalez then struck the post with a terrific free kick from about 35 yards out, Viviano was beaten. The equalizer came with 8 minutes remaining. Antonio Candreva swung in a corner which Klose met with a header that deflected off Viviano and then the post before going in. The German then repaid the favour, playing the ball out to Candreva. The winger beat Regini for pace, then cut inside Gastaldello and curling into the bottom left corner.

                  Roma 2-0 Lazio
                  Destro 32' 47'

                  MOTM: Igor Akinfeev (7.7)

A massive Rome derby that we failed to convert our chances in. We had twice as many shots on target (6 to 3) but Destro took his two chances when they came his way. The first came when De Vrij slide tackled the ball away from Florenzi but it rolled into the forward's path for a first time finish past Marchetti. He got a second two minutes into the second half tapping in Gervinho's low cross. (Ciani glitched which meant Destro got there.) We were unable to break down the Roma defence with Russian No.1 Igor Akinfeev making some impressive stops.

                  Milan 0-1 Lazio
                  Lulić 3'

                  MOTM: Federico Marchetti (8.2)

Wow, Milan dominated for the entire 90 minutes, bar the first 5 when we got what proved to be the crucial goal. A misplaced pass from De Jong was picked up by Klose and he slipped a free Anderson through. The little Brazilian then gave it across to Lulić for a tap in. Klose really should have scored, making it 2-0, when Diego Lopez gave it straight to him while El Shaarawy and Pazzini both missed big chances for the home side. Right at the death El Shaarawy headed off the bar from 6 yards out. Aké doing enough to put him off. We advance into the semi finals where we will face Juventus.

                  Lazio 2-0 Napoli
                  Djordjevic 20' Keita 62'

                  MOTM: Michael Ciani (7.2)

A second clean sheet in a row gave us a much needed league win after we had slipped to 7th. There was a debut for young prospect Daniele Rugani in the heart of the defence alongside MOTM Michael Ciani. Parolo had an early headed chance and Ledesma smacked a free kick off the post inside the first 10 minutes. The Serbian striker would then grab his opportunity to start with two hands when he netted on 20 minutes. He cut inside Koulibaly with a fake shot and slotted the ball past Rafael Cabral. The Napoli keeper would make further saves to deny Djordjevic again and Candreva before Jorginho forced a good stop from Marchetti on the stroke of halftime. Marchetti would deny Insigne a chance to score soon after the restart and then Keita dispossessed Koulibaly on the halfway line. The Spanish born winger raced through and put a second goal past Rafael Cabral. Mertens missed a great chance to pull one back when he came off the bench, his effort going inches wide.

                  Juventus 2-1 Lazio
                  Vidal 61' Llorente 66'
                  Candreva 79'

                  MOTM: Claudio Marchisio (7.1)

Yet again, we fall to the Old Lady. After matching the champions for the first half in a 5-3-2 formation, Vidal scored another goal against us to break the deadlock. Tevez got some luck when he was tackled but he somehow still had the ball. The Argentine slid it across to his South American counterpart who curled it first time past Marchetti. Another man who scored against us last time, Llorente, scored again 5 minutes later. Machisio drew Cana and then played the Spanish native in for the crucial second goal. After this we switched back to a 4-3-3 with Keita coming on for Cana. We bagged a goal not long after. From a defensive corner Parolo raced from deep inside our own half away from Marchisio and then gave it to Klose. Chiellini was sucked in and the German played it outside to Candreva who finished past Sirigu. Keita missed a great chance to level it with the last kick of the game but he unfortunately slipped at the wrong moment. Disappointing but we really tested a solid side.

                  Brophy accepts Belgium job

Current Lazio boss, Patrick Brophy has been confirmed as the new national team coach by the Belgian FA. The appointment was made official at 5pm today with the Irishman taking part in a press conference at his unveiling. Lazio sit POSITION in Serie A at the moment and many are wondering just why this decision was made by the Belgian FA. Brophy insists that this job will coexist with his current capacity as manager of Lazio and that he is confident of being able to balance the two. Belgium meanwhile sit 2nd on 13 points in their group behind Germany (16) after 6 games.

                  Press Conference

First off, congratulations on entering the international game. Why did you decide to choose Belgium?

They were the only team to offer me the job! *chuckles* No, I did get offers from other national associations, who I won't disclose due to confidentiality, but I felt that Belgium was the right fit for me. They have an extremely talented current generation of players and that is a testament to the groundwork the FA have done at underage level and they are reaping the rewards of that work. There is quality of the highest level in every position but there is also the work ethic to go with it.

Is this job going to effect your current position at Lazio?

Absolutely not. I'm confident that I can do both jobs at the same level as I'm doing now because of the incredible backroom teams I have. They make my job a lot easier and I am grateful for it.

What do you think of the team's current position?

To be second in the group at the halfway stage is a good spot be in. Germany are a good side and no doubt they deserve to be top as they are World Champions. We will be looking to firstly, consolidate our automatic promotion spot and secondly to kick on and challenge the Germans for top spot, which I believe, with the quality we have, we can do.

What will your preferred starting lineup be?

Now, obviously I have some idea, but I first need to see the lads in training when we meet up for the next qualifiers and in the following games before it is set in stone. Everyone will get a chance to prove themselves, to me and my staff, for a starting spot.

Do you plan to stay long term?

I'll be here until after Euro '16 and we'll see what happens after that.

Thanks for your time Mr. Brophy

                  A pleasure Michael.

OkDoei's 1. FC Nürnberg Career Mode. Season 2.

                    Winter transfer period!

                    PLAYERS OUT:

                    Vincent Janssen

SOLD TO LOSC LILLE FOR €8.5 Million

Now, don’t go all mad on me. I know that he has been our star man and our talisman, but when Lille offered 8.5 Million on him, I just had to accept. He’s quite good ingame, but his potential reaches 75. He was growing, but I feel that he’ll never achieve an rating above 80. We made a lot of profit, since we only bought him for 2 Million. Don’t worry guys, I’ve bought another striker…

                    PLAYERS IN:

                    Jürgen Locadia

BOUGHT FROM PSV EINDHOVEN FOR €8 Million

                    Position: ST, RW

There you go. He’s a bit cheaper, but higher rated. And he has more potential (80). He can outgrow his potential and maybe reach 83+. Now, Locadia was my absolute number one transfer target last summer, but PSV asked too much money for him. I couldn’t buy him as they wouldn’t accept my offers. But then Locadia hit some bad form and luckily for me PSV decided to get rid of him. Bringing him in for just €8 Million is an absolute steal. I’m still gutted about Janssen leaving, but I still believe that this is the way to go.

                    Rick Karsdorp

LOANED FROM FEYENOORD ROTTERDAM (1 year w/ option to buy for €1.5 Million)

                    Position: RB

I felt like bringing in another wingback, since Sepsi and Brečko are growing old. Karsdorp is a decent Dutch talent, who’s quite versatile and strong. He’ll do just fine as a back-up, and I’ll consider paying the 1.5 Million for him at the end of the loan spell.

OkDoei's 1. FC Nürnberg Career Mode. Season 2.

                      End of season 2.

                      Players review:

Schäfer 70 (-1) = He’s a stable goalkeeper, tall and very reliable. He’s been our number 1, but he’ll be replaced next season. I’ve extended his contract, so he can play his final season for us, but as a back-up goalkeeper. Rating: 7/10

Klostermann 74 (+1) = Unfortunately, the option to buy after his loan contract ran out glitched on me, so I was unable to permanently sign him. But he’s been a very good right back. I’ve let him play as a CB occasionally, since that’s his second position. Rating: 7/10

Hovland 76 (+1) = Our captain. What a man, he’s been there for us in almost every match. He did pick up a few red cards, but I forgive him for that. Gives his everything for the team, absolute beast of a player. Rating: 8/10

Kirchhoff 78 (+1) = He started the season as our number ‘6’, in the CDM role. But after Petrák got injured twice in a row, I decided to give Jan a shot as a CB. He’s tall, and quite fast so he did a decent job there. Although he feel kind of sluggish and a bit clumsy sometimes. Rating: 6/10

Gomez 74 (+6) = Absolute beast, but I don’t think that the option to buy will work on him. It’s the same story as Klostermann, I’ve loaned him for 2 years with an option to buy. But I think that’s it glitched in general. We’ll just have to wait and see. Gomez started the season on the bench, but he played himself into the starting eleven. Absolute beast of a player, and his crosses are just sublime. The only thing that I dislike about him is the fact that he occasionally ran all over the pitch, leaving the left flank unprotected. Rating: 7.5/10

Cerri 79 (+10) = Our own youth player. Just 19 years old and already the highest rated player in the squad. I was unsure where to use him, since he’s too small to be a CB. I was on the brink of selling him, but I decided not to on the deadline day. I’ve tried him as a wingback, but I didn’t like that either since he can’t cross. So, I tried him as a CDM after Kirchhoff moved to the CB position. Finally, I’ve found the right position for Cerri. His reading of the game is excellent and he’s improving on his passing range. Rating: 6/10

Behrens 73 (+2) = Now, this man is very important for us. He’s an absolute machine on the field, taking out multiple players in every game. However, he picked up a lot of cards doing this. I hope that he stops doing that, because he is a very good player. Rating: 6.5/10

Schopf 75 (+1) = Our star man last year. He had some trouble adjusting to the Bundesliga, which is noticed by his lack of goals. He only scored a few, but he managed to assist a lot of goals. He’s still very important, and our future captain. Rating: 8/10

Gislason 73 (+1) = Our go-to guy. I was gutted when he got injured for 2 months. He was so important for us, and I really missed him. Luckily he’s back now. Rating: 7.5/10

Locadia 77 (+2) = What a way to introduce yourself. He was handed the hardest job by replacing our talisman Janssen, but he did it in great fashion. Scoring just as much as Janssen did in lesser games, shows how much quality Jürgen has. He brings a lot on the field as well. He’s great at holding the ball, and he’s a decent passer as well. He’s top notch when it comes to aerial battles, and he scored most of his goals with his head. Rating: 8/10

Sané 77 (+3) = Another talent with a bright future. He had some trouble settling himself, and I had some trouble figuring his position out. He’s doing a decent job as a left winger now, and he’s helping himself to a few important goals and assists. I’m sure that he’ll keep improving on his game. Rating: 7.5/10

Sepsi 72 = He was my first leftback when we started the season. Gomez took over afterwards, but Sepsi still finished strong. Does his job whenever called upon. Rating: 7/10

Loftus-Cheek 70 (+3) = his loan deal ended, which is a shame. Ruben was a great player for us, and I miss him already. Still has a lot to learn though, hopefully he can live up to his potential and the expectations. Rating: 7/10

Sylvestr 70 +1 = back up striker, did his job whenever called upon. Didn’t get that much game time, and was frequently used on the wings as well. Rating: 6/10

Burgstaller 73 +1 = Decent player, performed whenever asked to. Rating: 6/10

Gebhart 72 +1 = Too slow to do anything on the wings, and wasn’t good enough the be a number ‘10’. Ultimately he just became the backup of Schöpf. Rating: 5.5/10

Scavone 73 (+9) = Our second youth product. Already higher than Schäfer. He’ll claim the starting spot as our number 1 goalkeeper next season, and he’ll do just fine. Rating: 6/10

Petrak 72 = he’s still my first center back, alongside Hovland. Unfortunately injuries catched up with him. He had two big injuries in a row, and he’ll miss a chunk of the third season as well. I’m going to look for a replacement, although I hope that I don’t have to replace him so soon. Rating: 7.5/10

Karsdorp 69 = Decent back-up for Gomez and Klostermann. Did his job whenever called upon. I probably won’t buy him after his loan spell runs out, though. Rating: 6/10

                      PLAYERS I BARELY USED:
                      Brecko 66 -2
                      Holmen 69 +4
                      Kirschbaum 68
                      Fullkrug
                      Bulthuis
                      Mohwald
                      Kolodziej
                      Mossmer 69 +1

Founded in 1922, York City Football Club are based in the city of York, North Yorkshire. The "Minstermen" have participated in League Two, the English 4th division since 2012-13 after gaining promotion from the Conference Premier.

2014-15 comes to a disappointing but expected conclusion

By the end of Febuary, York City were sitting in 12th place, still only a win away from the final playoff spot but it seemed at the time a long way away. The defence were leaking goals, Miller couldn't find the back of the net and it seemed the midfield were second to every ball.
Then in came a fit Wes Fletcher. Bagging a hat-trick in his first league start since being injured in preseason and going on a 6 game scoring run. By the end of the season York had climbed to 5th. Still inconsistant but at least winning more games than they were losing. A late slump would be their undoing however as they were dumped out of the promotion race by Bury, 5-1 on aggregate. A disappointing end to a campaign that opened so promising.
That said, the club find themselves in a decent position to have a genuine crack at promotion next season and with maybe one or two additions (Ryan Tafazolli will already join via pre-contract) will be true contenders to go up.

That brings the curtain on a tough first season at the helm of York City. While it didn't end how I hoped, I look forward to the challenge of taking the side a couple of steps further next season

Ryan Tafazolli (CB, 65, 23yo) - Pre-contract arrival from Mansfield Town
Locked in last January, Ryan is a very exciting inclusion who will no doubt strengthen the back 4.

Ben Hirst (ST, 51, 17yo) - Season loan to Derry City
In his second season at the club since being promoted from the youth academy, Ben will go out on loan to Derry for some much needed first team action which will hopefully help him progress as a footballer.

Oliver Finney (CM, 51, 17yo) - Loan to buy option 80 000 from Crewe Alexandra
Oliver Finney is a young left footed midfielder who will add depth to the squad. Coming through the Crewe Alexandra youth ranks, he was highly rated by the coaches as a player of the future.

Josh Ashby (CM, 59, 19yo) - Loan to buy option 220 000 from Oxford United
Josh is another left footed midfielder who should provide that bit of variety in midfield. He is a player with a very good reputation at Oxford and is excited about his move to York.

Matt Jones (LB, 50, 19yo) - Loan to buy option 80 000 from Swindon Town
The young left back joins us to provide cover for Ilesanmi and even allow him the opportunity to play further up the pitch if required.

                              Carson 63 Fletcher 62 Coulson 60

Promotion is expected this season and I'd be quite disappointed personally if it ended any differently. The additions of Tafazolli and Ashby should definitely strengthen the side and help in that push alongside having a fully fit Wes Fletcher.
