I haven't been playing as much as I used to with my AS Roma CM.

Still, I'm currently on third season after winning everything and I'm also on top of the Serie A again, with only wins.

Against Juventus, I must admit I was totally outplayed. Was really a misery in terms of football on my part. If not mistaken, I had like 2 shots on goal while Juve had 11, with my new keeper Zieler making some great saves.

I managed to win 1-0 right in the beginning of the second-half with a corner that went straight into Fazio's head, who scorer. After that, the Fifa Gods were once again on my side.

On Champions League, I won both games against Hamburg and AZ but both weren't easy. Next is Marseille, who I also had in my group on last years Champions League and faced them this year for the European SuperCup (since they won the Euro League). Guess we are destined to face each other haha.

I don't really have any targets in mind. I have all that I wanted and my salary budget doesn't allow me any luxury signing so guess this is it.

I've been thinking in either trying a new CM or being contacted to coach a new team (Chelsea tried but I refused). On the other hand, I'm so used to Roma and some of their players (I can't live without De Jong!) that it would be extremely hard to let them go.

I was right, Everybody was like i only sign players my team would to make it realistic.... Starting a CM and STEALING Suarez from Liverpool is NOT realistic..

Oh, why do I say this? Because if you let season play out, like in real life, Suarez might set the BPL on fire and stay...

SUAREZ JUST SIGNED A BRAND NEW CONTRACT WITH LIVERPOOL TODAY, IN REAL LIFE... not a liverpool fan but happy for them and Suarez.

For me, it is more important to make it realistic gameplay wise with sliders; sometimes it is refreshing to see different scenarios play out as to transfers of players between teams. Now, I'd never do something like place Suarez or Ronaldo on let's say Manchester City before I start a CM. If I want a player I feel I should have to buy or trade for him fair and square.

I only do it if I have some more specific team and when we talk about realistically transfer, I talk about Monaco buy Gerrard although he is loyal player to Liverpool.

Finally decided what would be my career, I chose Newcastle Utd to start, in the middle of the first season ended up going to Napoli, they are in the group of death in the (same groups like IRL) Champions League. I finally quit simulate many games, another time I post my progress.

Real Madrid 1 - 1 Getafe

We bounced back from the Champions League group loss to Milan to remain undefeated in league play. Ronaldo scored in 75th for draw, we had 20 shots, I feel confident that was a fluke game. Really miss Benz tho.

if you don't care about building a squad up from the bottom, start at Bayern Munich... i love playing my CM as them. always fun to try to replicate their IRL form. plenty of midfielders to choose from, plus a healthy squad everywhere else.

it seems i can never find a career mode i'm really excited about. hopefully my united one will be a good one.

as you can tell, I've started a new career with United, as none other than Sir Alex Ferguson. It was announced just before the Community Shield match, as David Moyes was fired immediately because the Glazers saw into the future and brought back their legend.

It also leaked that Sir Alex has a shortlist of players he is looking to bring in to the squad in January. They are as follows: Pogba, Gundogan, Reus, and Cristiano Ronaldo. whether or not Sir Alex gets any of those players remains to be seen! United fans surely would rejoice with news that Ronaldo has returned to OT. although it seems they would simply be happy with any signing in January, due to the disastrous summer window. it would also seem as though Ashley Young has had his fair share of time to prove himself, but looks set to depart in January, along with Rooney, if he doesn't get his contract settled.

I've got some players who's contracts expiering soon but I cannot renew them as I get an Email which says:
I've reviewed the contract offer and I'm not willing to accept the terms offered because I've been informed that the club cannot afford to renew my contract

This is what I've got(screenshot)


trying to increase player's wages by just only 5000

any ideas why itn't working? I've got enough Wages Budget, don't I?

When you sign a player it takes the extra wages from the wage budget but also takes a little from your transfer budget. In this case 20,000. Go to budget allocation and put some money into transfers then try the deal again.

updating my previous united cm!

after a superb start to the season, United currently sit 2nd in the table, one point back from Man City with 50 points, but a game in hand. a not too distant 3rd is Chelsea with 44 points.

January has arrived and Ferguson has been busy acquiring new talent. After an inquiry on Ronaldo, Real Madrid refused to sell him for any price. Ferguson then turned to BVB Dortmund. Marco Reus was snagged for 12.5 mil sterling and Kagawa. The next target is Gundogan. Fellaini and Young have asked to leave the club, so hopefully both will go. Had an offer from Fiorentina for Fellaini. low balled me with 6, so i countered with 9 mil. David Alaba has also revealed he wants to leave Bayern as he is "homesick", so United will definitely be making a bid to secure a solid LB for the future.

Gundogan (10 mil + Valencia [injured for 3 months with broken ankle])
Alaba (19.5 mil + Evra)
Reus (12.5 mil +Kagawa)

OUT:

Young (5.5 mil to Atletico Madrid)
Fellaini (11 mil to Fiorentina)



also should be noted for other transfers:

Cabaye left Newcastle. Replaced by Michu.
Jo joins Stoke
Mandzukic joins Arsenal
Ba and Oscar both left Chelsea

seems strange to still see Benteke stay. usually he departs in January for me. Suarez and Aguero were both tipped to depart to Real Madrid, but neither left. Liverpool also were tipped to sign Vidal (always goes to Liverpool for me) but didn't get it finalized in time.


EPL title race looks like this as of February 1st:

Man Utd 57
Man City 54
Chelsea 53 (played 2 more games than everyone else)
Spurs 46
Arsenal 44
Newcastle 44
Liverpool 42

hoping Newcastle pushes into a Champions League spot. would be nice, but I can see Spurs dropping out for Arsenal. we shall see.


The top scorer at the moment is Aguero and Benteke both with 12.
I have van Persie and Rooney each with 10 and Chicarito with 9.

After all is said and done, I am running a 4-3-1-2.

i'm really loving this formation. Reus and Gundogan are fantastic together in the midfield. Especially Gundogan, as he also has a CDM side to him, which runs perfectly as a box-to-box. Also love seeing Alaba and Rafael push forward and join the attack.
