Definitely get a new right back, Aurier would be fantastic. His position might say RM but he also can play RB so he isn't really playing out of position (it's like playing a guy with CM as first choice position and CDM as second choice at CDM). He has a good potential and strongly linked sign him up.

Sign Carlos Vela. Arsenal would be stupid not to pay his buy back clause it is so cheap for such a great player. I think he will make the switch.

Definitely sell Vermaelen to get Ginter. He is a great young CB and definitely better than Vermaelen. Could even try and do a swap.

And finally sign Javi Martinez to play as a CDM (don't play him at CB only when necessary)

As for Neven Subotic you should wait a season or two he glitches out and becomes 90+ rated if playing for CPU

Thanks for the input! Didn't do a writeup because I haven't finished the window yet but so far I sold my young striker for about 80 million. Then I bought Mandzukic for 25 plus Bendtner. Bought Ginter for 11 million. Was gonna buy Vela until they wanted 60 million! Bought Alexis Sanchez from Barca for 19.5 million (what a steal!!). Bought Subotic for 25 million. I have about 30 million left and want to save some of it for January so I might wait until then to buy a new RB. I think I can manage with Sagna, Jenkinson, and Ginter there until then. I am gonna sell Vermaelen in this window and probably Rosicky (even though I love him irl) he in tanking fast as far as overall and I should really get out now! As for the Striker situation, my idea is that Mandzukic, Giroud, and Podolski can all play there and they will likely get me 2-3 years of solid play. I will try to buy Batshuayi in January or next summer as the striker of the future. If we incur an injury to a ST between now and January I will probably loan in Thierry Henry (I would love this so much)!! So I doubt another summer signing is in our future but we do have a North London derby to talk about next!

      Champions Roster:

GK- Duke (C)- retiring after this, so I will be on the hunt for a new young keeper, especially because I am not fully confident in my current backup.

RB- Robertson - excellent player, really good with crosses and ball control, hes 30yo so I may be splitting his time next year with my backup (Camadal)

CB- Tozer - Future captain, at 23yo this guy anchored my defense and was a big reason my team finished with 24 clean sheets.

CB- Collins - Solid CB, however hes a little small, may be in the hunt for a new one, depending on funds and roster at the start..

LB- Widdowson - Had a great season, is really fast and makes a lot of offensive runs. Young player with a decent potential so he will also be splitting time with Camadal and Roberts

RM- Hackett - older fella, however he wasnt my starter all season, it was originally Dickenson, however he got hurt and Hackett filled the role. Will keep him next year, however this is the main position I am looking to improve.. He would be a really good backup

CM- Carter - again he's 30yo however he was definitely an important piece for the squad.. controlled the midfield and usually played a more CDM type of style.. also scored 7 goals

CM- Labadie - (transfered in from Torquay @ start of season) hell of a player in the midfield, likes getting forward and runs down people all the time.. was second in the team on tackles and tied for first on appearances.. Mr. Reliable

LM- Morris- league leader for assists and netted 6 goals as well.. really strong and fast along the touchline.

ST- Marquis - 2nd in scoring in the league with 21 goals.. also had 8 assists. Really, really good player.. however, he was a loan in from Millwall, and I dont think I am going to buy him back, for I have confidence in my other strikers

ST- Hanson (Transfer from Bradford) - midseason transfer.. led the league in goals with 26 and did that in half the games of Marquis.. He is unmatchable in the air, and has a killer left foot.

      ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Offseason Tasks:

      - Sign 3rd string CB who can sub in, and contend for Collins' job.

-Sign a RM who is young and has a decent amount of potential- Björn Jopek- leading candidate from Berlin.

-Sign a ST to replace Marquis... or maybe resign Marquis depending on the beginning few games

-SIGN A GOALIE**** Priority #1 because Duke is retiring
Great post! Love hearing about RTG and your making this one very realistic not signing the players people usually do and not immediately selling anyone close to 30. Keep it up!

Let us know the budget so we can make a few signing suggestions!

My budget is shot.. they only gave me 350k and I went out and bought Jopek (LM from Union Berlin) who is only 20 and I have never heard of him before! And thanks for the realistic realization, thats what I was going for!!

In the Jan. Window I am going to request more funds, because they for some reason won't provide me with them now.. So make suggestions please!

I need a ST, GK, CB the most.. I want quality guys.. regardless of potential or age..

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

Hey guys, it's been a while. I've managed to play a little bit and got halfway through the second season at Sunderland. I was fifth in the league behind Spurs, Chelsea, United and Arsenal. Knocked out of the league cup by a hard-working Blackpool.

My brother is staying with me for a few weeks and has been playing more regularly. He finished the season in fifth, with Ings and Wickham both scoring 15+ in the league but coming behind Cavani (Chelsea) for the Golden Boot (22). Manchester City and Roma both won trebles, City with the FA and Champions Cups and Roma with the Coppa Nazionale and Euro League.

Because of his leading tally of 17 league assists, Real Madrid came in with an offer of £12 million for Miro Stoch, eventually agreeing to £18 million. Only two buys for the third season have been Raheem Sterling for £16 million and Rasmus Elm for £11 million. Turned down bids in excess of £10 million for Wickham from Manchester United and Chelsea.

Hmm your best option is to send out your scout and find players who are first team quality and contract is expiring and convert all your money to wages to sign them on a pre-contract given your limited budget. Try sign some more free-agents for depth until then (not ideal but you have limited money

Hey! Sorry, saw your post right now and Fischer is now an 84 (March fourth season) His development has sort of slowed down since he is rotated with El Shaarawy. But that makes sure that he is 100 percent for every game he starts.

At 84 Fischer has the following stats:

                    Physical
                    Acc 85, Sprint Speed 87, Agility 90, Balance 83, Jumping 62, Stamina 73, Strength 65, Reactions 79

                    Mental
                    Aggression 54, Interception 42, Att Position 81, Vision 86

                    Skills:
Ball Control 90, Dribbling 93, Crossing 75, Finishing 81, FK Acc. 70, Heading Acc. 54, Long Pass 75, Short Pass 82, Marking 37, Shot Power 83, Long Shots 83, Stand Tackle 49, Slide 34, Volley 79, Curve 72, Penalty 74

Best part is that he is ONLY 22 right now. Which means he can improve tons and be my franchise centerpiece.

Also, update on the Ajax Save! - If anyone cares :P

                    IN:
                    Courtois - $17,500,000 from Chelsea - $200,000 a week for 5 years
Carvajal - Free transfer, joining next season - $140,000 a week for 5 years
                    David Alaba - $25,000,000 from Bayern - $180,000 a week for 5 years
                    Varane - $35,000,000 from Madrid - $280,000 a week for 5 years
                    Jordi Alba - $20,000,000 from Barcelona - $190,000 a week for 5 years
                    Neymar (Marquee signing) - $80,000,000 from Barcelona - $500,000 a week for 5 years
                    Zouma - $7,500,000 from A.S. Saint Etienne - $35,000 a week for 4 years
Bale - Free transfer from Manchester City, joining next season - $500,000 a week for 5 years

                    OUT:
Vermeer - $10,500,000 to Manchester City
Alderweireld - $13,500,000 to Chelsea (Really wanted to leave and asked me to sell him)
Sigthorsson - $5,500,000 to OGC Nice
Lewandowski (Marquee sale? :P) - $44,000,000 to Barcelona (He was unhappy since Muriel was getting more time, and then I didnt want to renew his contract since I had noticed Bale could be gotten on a free :P )
van Rhijn - $9,500,000 to Montpellier HSC
                    Lukoki - $2,500,000 to Southampton
Daley Blind - $4,800,000 to PSV (I like him, but with Alba and Alaba around, he wouldnt really find any time, since rotating the two is hard as it is)
Semih Kaya - $32,000,000 to Bayern (I loved him, and I would have never let him go if I could, but despite playing a huge chunk of matches since arriving, he wanted to leave, then the board intervened and sold him -.- )

Surprising thing was I managed to destroy Madrid 6-0 in last year's UCL final. which was surreal on a whole new level :O

As of now, Muriel is unhappy, since Neymar is now the starting ST, however should I land Bale, and Muriel agrees to stay, I will start playing with 4 attackers (Two strikers and two wingers, so basically a 4-2-4) - which should allow me to rotate Bale, Neymar, Muriel and Martial in the strike roles

Just noticed Lucas Moura (PSG) has his contract expiring in like 3 months, so I am waiting to pounce on him. I feel so bad I didnt notice that earlier. He is rated 89, and with him in the squad, i think I will be set for the rest of this save (assuming it lasts 15 years)

Another thing is Alaba is unhappy. But I will try my best to retain both Alaba and Muriel next season. And then decimate all oppponents.
Or maybe I could move onto a new team, since Ajax are pretty much set now.

Will win the Eredivisie this year easily, and I am already way ahead of any competitors. Still in the UCL with a 1-0 lead going into the second leg against Bayern in Rd of 16.

What do you guys think ?

{Transfer News} Left Back, George Elokobi, has rejected a new contract offer and tells media sources that he is not interested in being on the bench every week at Wolves, and wishes to be sold during this January Transfer Window. Sky Sports recently spoke to Paul Ince about the matter. "Elokobi has approached me some time ago and told me that he does not like sitting on the bench every week. I simply told him that with the squad we have, it will be difficult for anyone to break into my starting eleven."
Soon after this interview, Sky Sports has confirmed from Wolves, that they have sold Elokobi to Bolton for an undisclosed fee. There is no further news whether or not Wolves will try to replace the left back this season.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

This is my first post on here.
Joined Atletico Madrid after 3 seasons at Arsenal winning 5 trophies; the FA Cup once, the Capital One Cup and the BPL twice.
Arsenal Squad Roster (during my tenure)

Goalkeepers: Diego Lopez, Szczesny, Fabianski, Damien Martinez.

Defenders: Hummels, Koscielny, Astori, Ogbonna, Miquel, Bartley, Sagna, Jenkinson, Piszczeck, Gibbs, Jordi Alba

Midfielders: Ozil, Gotze, Lars Bender, Wilshere, Ramsey, Javi Garcia, Paulinho, Sterling, Coquelin, Gutteres, Meirelles, Gaitan, Gnabry, Chamberlain, Depay, Cascione, Lansbury.

                        Forwards:
Lewandowski, Jackson Martinez, Falcao (was considering selling him in the summer window if I chose to stay cause he became injury prone -.-), Miyaichi, Park Chu Young, Sanogo, Afobe, Akpom.

Anyway on to the next one - Atletico Madrid..
                        Transfer Budget; 52m
                        Wages; 650K

Reach Final of the Copa Del Rey and QF of Europa League..

Found out they had gotten Javi Martinez, Cabaye, Renato Augusto and Courtois on a permanent deal. The annoying thing is due to the transfer system that see players move a lot and tend to be unrealistic they had sold ALL their centre backs leaving Dominguez and a few youth players.
                        Transfers;
Sold a couple of fringe players and brought in
                        Dragovic - 22.2m,
                        Miyaichi - 13m

                        Jackson Martinez -9m

                        CM- Raul Garcia
                        CAM- Omar Santana
                        CAM- Merida
                        LW- Miyaichi
                        CF- N'Doye Preseason friendlies;
                        Atl Madrid 1 - 0 Stoke City
All new signings made their debut with Jackson scoring a screamer in the first 45

AC Milan 2 - 0 Atl Madrid (simmed)
Wasn't really bothered as it was only a friendly. Ballotelli and Kaka scored.

                        Atl Madrid 4 - 0 (Simmed)
Jackson, Miyaichi, Leitner and Villa got on the scoresheet. Two wins and a loss in the friendlies isn't that bad.

                        Europa League Qualifiers First Leg;
                        Atl Madrid 2 - 0 Malmö FF
Pretty even match with the home team slightly dominant. Brought in Adrian, Miyaichi, Cabaye for Costa, Augusto and Javi respectively with 20 minutes to spare. Adrian broke the deadlock in the 79th minute and Jackson beat the offside trap and lobbed the ball over the onrushing keeper in the 85th to put us in a good position heading to Sweden for the 2nd leg next week.
Well what do you guys think ?

At 84 Fischer has the following stats:

                          Physical

                          Acc 85, Sprint Speed 87, Agility 90, Balance 83, Jumping 62, Stamina 73, Strength 65, Reactions 79

                          Great post and signings!

If you feel like your job is done then move on but if you want to continue with the same team you built that's up to you!

After being promoted to the Sky Bet Championship, Sky Sports caught up with the Wolves manager for a few words. "We had a great campaign, and I have to owe it all to the lads who went out there every week and played hard. Our supporters backed us from the very first match, to the final match, and this is something that they deserve to have. The owner gave me a task to gain automatic promotion, and we have achieved that in a great fashion. I am looking forward to next season in the Championship, and I know that the lads are getting excited as well."

Hey guys! So just started my fifth season(?) with Ajax.

Decided to leave it at that, since my squad seems unbeatable to be quite honest. After the additions of Bale and Carvajal on free transfers, I got myself Lucas Moura from PSG for $70 million on a five year deal and Jovetic from City for $60 million. Sold off Sven Bender for 20 million.
Just smashed some Eredivisie team 5-0 on legendary playing a 4-2-4 formation.
Gonna start a new save now, and this Ajax one can be one I play when I want something really extreme :P

So, basically what I wanted to ask was, can anyone recommend any teams that I can play around with? Usually prefer Top 4 in their respective leagues - atleast a team that can challenge for continental football.... Would also prefer it to be in one of the more competitive leagues. Hoepfully the team will have some scope for rebuilding...
If anyone has any ideas, please drop a comment below. Thanks
