Oh, I haven't done a player CM yet...I'm assuming there's an option to request a transfer...

Carolina Panthers - NC State Wolfpack - Charlotte Hornets - Brisbane Roar FC - VfB Stuttgart

No, you won't be stuck with them forever. You have a two options, you can request to be transfer listed or request to go out on loan. Another thing, if you're playing really good then other teams will begin to put in offers for you. In the beginning you might only get offers from teams in the same league or lower teams, but as you progress and get better higher division teams will be interested in you. Have fun!

The roster is actually very promising, with a lot of youngsters. I'm especially intrigued by Medy Elito who is listed as someone who "has that special something" (23 Y/O, 57 OVR, can play LM/LW/CAM, has the Flair trait and Acrobat specialty - acceleration/speed/agility are 90/82/92).

I'm greeted by two 1-star scouts in the GTN and I have sent them out to Saudi Arabia and Australia to see what they can find. My budget split evenly has just over $200K for transfers and nearly $3,900K for wages.

This will be fun. I'll have a press conference soon.

Nice! Thanks for the shoutout! Great choice scouting in the Australian league too. Prices will most likely not be as inflated as in the European leagues. Looking forward to the updates!

            Spoiler

Great results nearing mid season! Europe is in your hands and the higher positions are still within your grasps. With this good run are you planning on making any moves in the upcoming transfer window or will you just leave everything as it is since things are going well at the moment?

Started an Arsenal Career mode as a manager as Patrick Viera has taken over.
The way I will build my squad is by employing a strong youth system playing my young guys a lot and when they hit there maximum potential I will sell them regardless if there going good or not. I will also not play anyone over 30 on the squad I wanted a bit of a challenge so have made this my own personal challenge.

I'll update as I go along but right after 9 games tied for first in the league with Chelsea on 22 points Ozil has been fantastic 8 assists and 3 goals and a youth player I signed from the USA who had a potential of 95 as a striker as Giroud and Sanogo have gone down to long term injurys has scored 9 goals and 5 assists ill keep you updated as we go.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

Just started one off this past weekend with Olympique Marseille with updated rosters and the transfer window closed for the summer period as I didn't want any crazy transfers to start off the season. So far, I'm on the top of the table, one point ahead of PSG with 39 out of a possible 45 points. I'm also second in my Champions League position to Bayer 04 Leverkusen, however, I'm pretty much guaranteed a round of 16 birth unless I lose horribly in the group stage final against Leverkusen.

The bad news is that I just lost Valbuena and Morel for about a month or so with their respective injuries. Also, Saber Khalifa has been absolute crap, so he's not even in the substitutions. I swapped him out for a 61 OVR striker in Adama Guidiala, who has already netted 2 goals in his 4 appearances so far.

Hopefully I can keep up this impressive run going moving forward, it won't be easy without Valbuena, so hopefully Florian Thauvin can step up do an excellent job filling the role at CAM.

I've got one game left to play in December and then I will have that update out, but let's just say the results were not so good. I'll have my plans on what I'm going to do in the press conference for that update. Not sure how it will go since my remaining budget isn't the greatest haha.

                    ROAD TO RECOVERY
                    SEASON 1

                    Match 10

                    Peterborough 2-0 Coventry
                    McQuoid 18
                    McCann 50

McQuoid gave the side from up North after tackling the keeper and knocking it into the open goal. McCann made it 2 with a scuffed shot that trickled into the corner.

                    Match 11

                    Coventry 1-0 Walsall
                    Baker 15
Baker scored the only goal, cutting in and dragging the ball into the bottom corner. It was a deserved lead though, Wilson hitting the bar and Delfouneso having a couple of shots brilliantly saved.

                    Match 12

                    Wolves 1-1 Coventry
                    Golbourne 62
                    Wilson 72

Wolves took an undeserved lead when a low ball in was tapped in at the far post. Wilson curled in though to equalise and keep our lead at the top of the league.

                    Match 13

                    Coventry 3-1 Brentford
                    Judge 9
                    Eccleston 45
                    Eccleston 58
                    Razak 66

After Judge's diving header opened the scoring for the side in the relegation zone, we went out more determined. Eccleston curled in the equaliser and then smashed his second into the top corner. Razak got goal of the game though, smashing in off the bar from distance.

                    Match 14

                    Rotherham 1-2 Coventry
                    Tavernier 45
                    Delfouneso 45
                    Wilson 90

Rotherham took the lead through some brilliant play that was finished off by Tavernier but immediately after we flicked the ball over the top for Delfounso to knock in. Right in the last minute, Wilson tackled the defender and smashed it into the back of the net.

                    Thoughts

A good month but we seem to have took up a bad habit of going behind in matches. We will need to iron that out on the training ground. I hope you enjoyed. Sorry for the hiatus

                        Press Conference

Q: A very tough month to follow up the great one you just had. Can you explain the reason for the complete turn around and what you will do to fix it?

A: A month like this one isn't easy. We only managed to gain 1 point in the league table and dropped 4 spots. Losing Graziano Pelle for the month was a huge hit, and we were certainly thankful to have him back for the last game there. In his absence though the midfield really struggled to create plays and set up our forward. We need to tighten up and make better passes. I can guarantee you it will be a focus in training for the time being.

Q: One bit of good news from this month as advancing into the round of 16 for the Copa Del Rey. You also managed to win the first leg of that round against Elche. You have yet to advance to the quarter finals as manager of Deportivo and have been knocked out in this round both years. Do you think you will be able to advance having the 1 goal lead heading into the second leg?

A: While it was a tough month, we were able to get things back on track at the end with the two Copa Del Rey games. I am confident heading into the second leg with Elche. If we can score a goal on the road there we are likely to advance. I will likely put a line up out there that is capable of attacking and putting the pressure on Elche to stop us.

Q: The transfer window is opening up. Do you have any plans to add or subtract from the team?

A: Before this month I was seriously considering staying put, but this showed me a problem that I had overlooked earlier. We have a lack of creativity in the midfield and we have been resigned to just knocking the ball back and forth without anyone being able to have much success pressing the ball forward. Our funds our limited right now, so I think I will be looking to loan options to bring in a midfielder who can help us get our attack organized and more effective.

On FIFA 14 for PS3 is there a way to do press conferences a couple months until the end of my season and have yet to see them come up, also signed a loan for 1 season so after the 1 season would I return to my original club(Chelsea)?

Player career right? I don't think you can do press conferences as a player. The manager will do them and you'll be able to see what was said in the press conference in the "news" tab. Yes you should be returning to your original club and then they will decide to keep you or send you out on loan again. If you don't want to go back out on loan I think you can just keep hitting "reject offer" and you'll stay.
